I think it’s great that Rebor have given us the best of both worlds here. There is evidence and solid arguments for both lipless and lipped reconstructions, as well as respectable palaeontologists on both sides of the debate.
While I don’t plan to get either of these guys, they are definitely incredibly well done figures and just shows rebors progression over the years
I have to say , both tusk and kiss have to be a personal favourite and i wish rebor would dabble more into accurate dinosaurs as their quality is amazing ( love pnso but they suffer from paint and quality issues way too often for their price) . Its flaws arent nearly as bad as others
Unless eofauna knocks it out of the park with their 2023 tyrannosaurus based on the sue skeleton this stays the best😂

You’re not the only one who got them for Christmas I did and they both look pretty damn awesome to be honest my favorite is tusk because I still think the t Rex did not have lips But that’s just me though but in terms of color kiss has the better coloring but overall they are the best Tyrannosaurus rex figures in my personal opinion
Fantastic review as always! They’re good but I’m waiting for Eofauna’s.
I have Kiss myself. It kinda has that issue with the mouth not closing perfectly but I fixed it just by fiddling with the jaw.
Kiss in particular was a must have for me. The darker coloration and lips made it an instant purchase. Can’t wait for the Deinosuchus probably my most hyped Rebor anything.
Congtatulations its out and while a bit conservative ( to me looks basicly like a normal croc , the distinct features toned down heavily) its still incredible quality wise
you need to heat up tusks head. it's probably glued. i also have the same problem you can ply it off the glue slowly.

Have kiss and its a beauty Trex.
Definitely amazing figures but something about them kept me from getting them, and it's honestly not something I can easily put my finger on. Individually all the parts look right - the amazing legs, the bulky torso, the heads, the faces, that thick neck, I even like the paint scheme - but when all the parts are put together it looks clunky for some reason, or truncated. This looks like the pitbull version of the Beasts of the Mesozoic rex - which I feel is a better sculpt but definitely not perfect either.
But one thing's for sure: I'm way too picky! Kiss seems to be sold out everywhere and I definitely regret not getting my hands on it.
0:47 I’m not convinced of this type of figure, it has several errors in addition to the Eofauna brand it is highly overrated, it makes good models but nothing exceptional
I prefer Tusk. The lips...they seems to me hippo face. Very good figures. Some feathers would be nice.

Yep, bad articulated jaws, I knew it would happen with Rebor.
That's why I avoided picking Kiss, the only purpose is to have it with mouth close, so what's the point if the mouth CAN'T stay fully close ?
You can eventually never open the mouth, not even once, but what's the point to pay for a figure with an articulated jaw if you can"t play with it ?
I eventually get Tusk, since the mouth on it might open better with time, contrary to Kiss whose problem will only get worse :(
