Vlad Grigorian Hi Vlad. I actually spoke with PS audio on this as I have had many products going back to the 90’s with the HCA amps & PCA preamp. The P10 does not have an ultimate outlet installed inside, so they are not running through twice. The P10 uses a different technology to AC regeneration compared to the old models. So the wall power goes into the power director, and the P10 goes into that. So all components are isolated on different plugs on the P10. The p10 on its own was to dark and rolled off. I hate to be negative, but when it got to positioning those feet under a power conditioner for better sound, all credibility was lost. Let's have a scientific explanation on how that works please. Also, I've heard of moving an antenna to get better reception, but elevating speaker cables always makes me face-palm. But I guess that's because I must be deaf. Can you say... "Placebo"? Thanks for your quick reply much appreciated. Ps Audio makes really good equipment, but pricy. The Director is the same price as your Sonus Faber. By the way I noticed you also have Martin Logan too. Check out the lks dh-004 dac with upgraded USB. I absolutely love ps audio but this thing sounds better than the Dave chord (I have demoed both) and holds itself right with the direct stream. A true steal of a dac at 1500 it will knock over 5-7k dacs (I have done it!)
Good quality equipment, but sound room is bad.may as well have your stereo playing in a bathroom.too many places sound escapes your ear and out of door openings and windows.note speaker on each side of large window which is a terribly bad idea.invest in a sound room with sound panels then begin too hear a big difference in your music.
Totally conned and marketed to. No one can tell how a system sounds on a RUclips video. I will presume the vinyl on his turntable is just a protective cover. Hope you didn't have to borrow the money for any of this. Just laughable. Spend your money on acoustics of your room. You really need to wake up to the REAL world, buddy.
David Olson Actually I managed 3 stores over the time I purchased these after training and real world listening. Correct in that many variables are involved when sampling the sound of a system. However not playing it after a tour would be very disappointing after seeing the equipment visuals. Yes the record is just a disk to protect the platter & you were the only one insightful enough to mention this before blame. However chastising someone for how they spend there money as laughable is far from insightful and quite juvenile. Who is the one actually in the real world “buddy”? That being said, thank you for taking the time watching my video & all opinions are welcome when delivered in a respectful format 👌🎼✨

Sounds like a great system Obastan! My first few systems I started the same way. I loved them all just as much as the one I have now. Enjoy the technics TT! 👌🎼✨
everything is fine in this setup, but ...very poor room acoustics! When you say an echo is heard. Try to listen to pieces of your video and you hear the difference in voice when you are near the wall. For example, at 07:00 - 7:20 This is very bad for the sound! How many I watch videos of music lovers from the USA for everyone, like a carbon copy, the bare walls in the listening room, there is not even anything on the windows. I'm not talking about sound-absorbing panels or pyramidal paralon. You at least need to hang velvet curtains on the window on the wall and I assure you, the sound will be magical! best regards !
Alex Munn This is behind the speakers near the floor. From in front of the speakers and the large tree to the left, there is no echo when I clap from my listening position. Of course room treatments are always the best! 👌🎼✨

We have the same headphone, the Sennheiser HD 650. I don't own any expensive audio equipment. I connect my laptop to an audio engine DAC and amp the signal using little Dot hybrid tube headphone amp. It's an inexpensive set up. The HD 650 more than makes up for the inexpensive set up. Only downsize is I can only listen to music in front of my lap top.
High end power cables is just nonsense. They cannot possibly overcome the supply cables in the wall. That system is about as good as you can get spending more money is not going to gain more quality. You could spend more money on a system but it would be for large auditoriums were more amplification would be needed.
High end power cables aren't about getting "more" power than the wall can supply, they are about preventing interference and giving you the most pure sound possible. When you step up into systems in the $100K plus range they are essential.
@@kylejantzen2 They are not going to overcome the quality of the cables in the wall that do not cost tens of thousands. Cables in the wall are cheap and are really concerned with safety such as insulation and fire protection. Expensive power cables are not going to change 50Hz mains power. How are they going to prevent interference on a 50Hz cycle? DO you think that 50Hz cycle is going to be subject to interference?
Think that you have missed the logic of power cabling. Interference suppression is necessary when in a condo. Every other tenant is using switchmode power supplies and the mains hash is horrible. A standalone house has great benefit in electrical purity.
Your right speaker cable is coiled, and shouldn't be. Golden priciple of audio- it sounds like your weaker part of system. In this case it would be the speakers. In terms of money they are cheap speakers, and what we could saw here, cables cost more than your speakers. This is the place where you can find biggest upgrade in SQ in the future. I envy you that PS audio conditioner.
Gawron339 check out my newest videos. I moved the amp to the middle a while ago to have the speaker cable runs even. I have tried 6k, 8k & 10k speakers in my home & these Sonus Faber speakers sound better. It’s not always about price, it’s how it makes you feel. These speakers emotionally connect with the listener. Thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
Terrible track to play for the demonstration. Not even Coltrane could make "My Favourite Things" sound good. Also, the drummer is far too cymbal heavy for this. It over emphasizes the top end which makes for a terrible match for the guitarist. Whomever put this together had no idea what they are doing.

...wait a second. Please, can someone explain, to an ignorant audio noob like me, the sound difference between speaker cables on the floor vs suspended??? Seems like a load of BS to me, but as I said... I’m an ignorant newbie so please explain. Oh, & btw, if you say someone has to be an experienced listener then I will know it is a load of BS, so thanks in advance for anyone who’d like to explain the sound difference worthy enough to go through such an effort.
There are forums dedicated to the back & forth on topics like this. Thank you for putting it in a way that was not to abrupt in asking 😉. The theory is...First, by elevating the cables you are removing static electricity build up from the carpet which can make the cable sound fuzzy or blurry. I actually have used my vinyl anti static gun to shoot the cables from amp to speaker and the sound absolute became clearer. This was on a winter night in the Las Vegas dry air. You could arc a blue bolt across your finger to a record, ZAP! Now it's effect on wood floors would not be as apparent for this application. The second reason is by keeping it off the floor you remove it from vibrations such as footfalls, washing machines, washers and dryers spinning etc...I know moving my headphone cable even a little picks up micro phonics that translate to the speakers in my headset, so there could be some validity here too. The 3rd reason is it's easier to clean up the dust bunny's when doing my quarterly cleaning behind the rack. And finally 4th, It also looks deliciously organized in keeping the audio cables isolated from the power and digital cables so they don't cross contaminate the signal. If all of this is still BS to you, I leave you with this "Any difference perceived, there or not...becomes real" it's all a matter of ones own experience, ears, and perspective. Thanks for the great question and thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
Thank you for the great response! I wasn’t expecting all that. I’ll be upgrading our theatre system soon & figured I’d research a bit more beyond just the big companies marketing & available stats This particular tip/trick struck me as odd which is why I was curious. Supertramp Breakfast in america put a before and after in my audiophile blood, back in 1979 I heard that LP on a Technics turntable, Marantz integrated amp and Marantz speakers at a Audio store and I got in love with that sound, later in 1980 I had my first good speakers, well they were not good they were excellent the JBL L-112 and I bought that Supertramp LP to hear it at home and I was delighted, then in 1996 I bought the CD and I almost got nausea of how bad sounded in comparison with the LP, LP's sound better but this transformation of Breakfast in America from analog to CD was made by a bus driver minimun my goodness how garbage was that transformation, I would love to buy that LP new but only if it sounds identical to the 1979 disc.

It's the camera changing it to blue. It does it in some photos too. It's why everyone wants it that way, because of the room lighting, it creates video trickery 😂

"Placebo"?
Spend, spend, spend, then be forced to admire, admire, admire to justify the spending.
What do you care what he spent his money on. If he likes it who cares. See all your comments read to me like a guy who all his life wanted this stuff but now realized that will never happen. So instead now your going to search out everyone and bash there system. REALLY WHAT DO YOU CARE!!!!
@@montysbricks Agree with you Dean. "I hate to be negative" No you don't. "Scientific explanation". Science goes way past the blinkered limited science we have around us today. Blinkered Crap talk once again @CraigTube.
As a subscriber to your channel I'm pretty disappointed in you Craig. While I admire your pragmatic approach to audio, you don't appear to operating remotely in the same realm of gear that this fellow is. Obviously this man's system gives him a lot of joy, and its disappointing when others that are similarly passionate about audio attack others that are also passionate...ESPECIALLY when the attacking party doesn't have the requisite experience with the gear. If he's got the cash to play around with cable elevators, high end power and audio cables, and different forms of isolation, thats his business. If it makes a difference to him (placebo or not), that's none of your business, and shame on you for being so self important that you feel your opinion matters one bit.
That said...I love your channel and you have amazing pragmatic content that was of great utility when I was starting out.

Wonder how the sound of 2 MC275 amps running mono block with a c1100 tube preamplifier using the sonus faber s venere. I’ve been debating on the tube amps that McIntosh has vs solid state. What’s your thoughts?
Peter Landis the Venere S loves tube sound. They are 4ohm and under 90db. Solid state amps with tube preamp would sing 👌✨
Thanks for your quick reply much appreciated. Ps Audio makes really good equipment, but pricy. The Director is the same price as your Sonus Faber. By the way I noticed you also have Martin Logan too. I'm looking into the DirectStream Dac from Ps Audio that I haven't even heard yet, but there are great reviews on it. Hope to see more of your videos it's always cool to see other people's setups and exchange experiences. Have a great day bro.

PS Audio DirectStream is awesome!! The Snowmass update is insane--what an elegant DAC design.
@@walterstorm9221 Hey Walter do I own the DirectStream Dac and if you do what other Dacs did you audition before going with it. I've heard great things about Chord and a much less expensive and known BorderPatrol SE DAC

Beautiful system, however, I think there might be a few snakes, or the oil there of, lurking in this system.
It's whatever floats the boat. I have a different method, all my flat surfaces are rubber coated with 6 mm rubber composite.

Hello Thelv's Dad. Also, cool setup xD
Java lava 👌🎼💥
everything is fine in this setup, but ...very poor room acoustics!

Steve San Cool Steve! Mine are the HD 600. They really are amazing! 👌🎼✨
When you step up into systems in the $100K plus range they are essential.
mains conditioning unit work well for me, its not witchcraft!!
You mean the cheapest possible Romex cable coming into the condo?
@@kylejantzen2
They are not going to overcome the quality of the cables in the wall that do not cost tens of thousands.
My question is , how do you keep the carpet so clean.
rrios283s73 😂 😜
A vacuum cleaner.
love how the birds look at each piece
nice sound very clear and crisp...10/10 ...power smoothing is nice touch.
I love to have a pair of Mcintosh monoblock amps.

It makes sense to me & what I am slowly learning is that there are so many smaller things, that if addressed properly, can make a good system work that much better. Thanks again & I think I’ll sub. since you obviously know what your talking about.
