Like 2010 for example is staring to feel like 14 years ago when up until recently 2010 felt like 2 years ago to me. I used to make fun of my dad a lot when I was a kid because he would always be like "Remember when that happened? That was like 2 years ago." And I would bust his chops and be like "No dad. You got Alzheimer's? That was like 8 years ago already." But now at 36, stuff from 8 years ago is starting to feel like 2 years ago and my teenage daughter is the one who busts my chops. I'm feeling old. I now have more in common with my own father at 36, who's now 66, than I ever have in my entire life. And as young as I see myself and as cool as I think I am, my daughter still sees me as old and "not cool" .
