Hey Andy, yet another slam dunk! Awesome as per usual! What pickups are on the 'Paul? Just curious to know whether hi or medium output HBs. Cheers and keep em coming!!
That D, A break at the end of the chorus repetition doesn't sound right. I think it's the same shape/position he uses in the Communication Breakdown riff (but in A, of course).
No one ever plays that D chord correctly in the chorus. It's not a basic d chord; you bar an A chord with your index (open A string) then hit the 3rd fret on the B string and 4th fret on the D string, then you just let off the B and D string, back to that A chord. It baffles me that people can't hear that.
If all their viewers are pros then why would they need to be here watching a tutorial? im just saying when they do these tutorials they should use less expensive pedals.
C'mon man. You do realize PGS is a business in business to make money, don't you? Or did you think the crew of people in Tigart who produce these excellent tutorials and tone report all get together every day just for laughs? This is called "content marketing" You get a great tutorial for NOTHING b/c they can sell a ton of $200 pedals a few guitars and a couple amps in the process. Now about that pedal - Andy could sound the same - and so could you - playing through a cardboard box. It's great playing not ANY pedal that makes the gig. So stop whining and practice your guitar.
No one said you have to buy the pedal he's using... Hell you could learn the song on acoustic guitar and no one will tell you not to. He's trying to get a similar enough tone to the actual live song. I personally would not prefer if he were using some line 6 modeling amp or what have you to demonstrate the lessons.
9 years later and the RAH is still a phenomenal pedal
If I had your videos when I was 13 in '73, it would have saved years, hahaha - thanks for the great videos.
No way. I was nerding out on Zeppelin all day and even played this one, trying to match the tone and all. Then this video. Freaky.
A brilliant, simple rock piece..
Wow u nailed the tone mate that sounds really good
Thanks for the lesson, 8 years later lol. I have watched your lessons years ago and subscribed but for some reason I never get any notifications.

There a tab anywhere? Having trouble with the "country lick"
I'm curious to know where do you get the backtracks. Could you share with us?
Where were you guys when i had to put my finger on the lp to learn these songs? Damn! So easy to play. Sorry beginners. :)

Speaking of the Communication Breakdown Riff, it's set to private so we can't see it. What's going on with that?
Dang. I wish I had talent...
If anyone wants CORRECT tab for this lmk!!!
clear as fk

pro guitar shop should really try to appeal to more of the average guitarists. a huge majority of us don't buy $200 guitar pedals
Double check the name of the store. Emphasis on the word "Pro"
