Haha “any kind of Aryan predator” lmao I know you meant Avian but you’re the only closest thing to an Aryan predator out there my friend😂😂😂 All jokes obviously haha happy fishin man.
An old man once told me, "You gotta fish where the fish are." Genius.
“You gotta eat where the food is”
Also a good one from Bryan Flechsig, “The river will tell you what to fish.”
Or he knew nothing. Both are equally possible off of such a statement.
no shit bruh
I mean, he ain't wrong
My father was a great fisherman and he taught me how to fish these streams-from my earliest memories. You are very much on target here. I will say that I find fishing your first type-the rapid, shallow water, to be a waste of time. Also, on these small streams, fishing the bank under-cuts are very productive.
Yea I agree rapid water may hold small fishing that want to hide, but I wouldn’t focus my efforts there. The tail end of them I’d fish all day lol.
Love seeing the dog just sitting there in the water.
I watched this video then an hour later I went out and caught a huge trout. Thanks for the video.
When trout spook they almost always move upstream and so fishing your way up gives you a second chance at the fish you spooked downstream
So walk against the current?
@@daltonlanglois4179 exactly
Ahh thanks
AND stay out of the water if you can! If ya can’t, move Very slowly just like stalking whitetail bucks Aya?!
narrow spots that drop into a pool are my favorite for big trout....i've caught my first big fish there!!
What is the best lure there is for any water
@@henryvaldez1733 it Varys a lot on the water and species but a rapala floating minnow is a classic that works for anything.
I love creek fishing trying to teach my girlfriend and her kids how to fish I have been fishing for as long as I could hold a rod I love it
7:05 "some kind of arian predator" the nazis are catching trout from the sky!!! Lmao
just caught G on the first play through got me dying hahah
time travelling nazis no doubt
Haha. I caught that too. He meant avian.
Wondered if I was the only person who heard that.
give him a break guys, speaking on camera is tough. he mean to say avian predators. he's getting out there trying to help!
Only 2 minutes in and I already know Im gonna learn a whole lot from this video. Clear concise and to the point, Explaining everything very well. Much appreciated for sharing your knowledge
been trout fishing for a few years, 80%+ of my success has come from watching your channel
Thanks guys, I always learn something from the tutorials. Keep delivering not just the "what", but also the "why". Well done again, it's appreciated by many.
I really like the Info in this video. Very informative. With that said it would be really cool to watch you fish these holes at the same time you explain it. But still great video. Thanks Addicted
Thank you for all these videos. I am a 20+ year bass guy on lakes and a boat from So Cal and now dwell in Idaho so learning to fish steelhead and many different kinds of trout in the rivers.
Been binging your trout videos for an upcoming kern river trip out here in California, fished for most of my life but your explanations and examples of techniques make it like it’s the first time I’ve ever seen them lol awesome stuff!
I have learned so much from your tutorials! Thank you for that! I wish I could fish with you and learn even more.
Love the videos you do man.
Great info , tips and tricks.
Would love to see a video on Sea Run German Browns.
Thanks a bunch for your time and explanation. Fishing is quite new for me and people like you make a great difference on my development.
I'll be looking for you to fish each type of 'hole' as a tutorial!
Couldn't have came at a better time! Hours away from hitting the river in Northern Michigan thanks for all these tips!
I caught my biggest brook trout in the UP
It was a whole 2 inches
Awesome video! Can’t wait to look for these kinds of spots this weekend!
Thank you dude. I've never been a big trout angler. I like lake bass. But I live in a very trout friendly area. I thought it was time to exploit that habitat.
I'm also glad to know that I'm not just screwing around creek side. I look for all the features you described because I figured it was common sense that trout would hide there.
The "foam line" is my favorite place to drag through.
How beauty it is! That view! I wish I could be there! ....cheers from Poland!:)
Shaded areas and the bank edges during blowouts. Im from PA, so alot of my experience is with native Brookies and stockies in creeks and rivers. The Brookies seem to like to hide in the tree shaded, faster water. Theyll hide in a blob of shade from a leaf on an over hanging tree. Shaded spots are always worth a try. It seems that they'll take faster, shallower shade water right next to a slower, deeper run. Another type is low pressure water zones next to river or creek banks during heavy flows or blow outs, especially steelhead in Erie. Would suck to have to fight that much current without a break, so even with high and stained water, sometimes fishing right along a bank with a bulky egg sucking leech or bright colored worm can make the difference.
Thanks for the video, very informative. Awesome intro too!
Great video. Love the information and you were spot on with what you were teaching.
Great vid! I fish a lot of ponds for bass, panfish, pike, but am looking to expand into trout fishing small rivers near where I live. This was really helpful. Thanks!
Just moved from a lake area to a river and creek area and your video helped me make the switch, thanks man!
Man everything I have been trying to learn. Finally all in one quick simple video
Thank you for video bro. Appreciate the effort, really helps!
Thank you for making this, coming from bass fishing this is a different ball game. Tried my hand at trout fishing today at my local creek known to have big trout. Got there and realized I had no idea what I was doing or what I was looking for, fished for a few hours before I had to leave, told myself I need to do some research😂 I was under the impression that foamy fast water was too fast and they wouldn’t be in there. I was obviously very wrong.
Nice and informative! Thanks Jordan! 👍✌🎣
Tell me why you don’t have 1 mil subs!? This is the best video I have watched on trout fishing... so thankful for this tutorial!
Great info as always, bro.
"Some kinda aryan predator" xDDD
Neighbor invited me to NorCal to fish Hat Creek and didn't know much about Creek/river fishing. Usually fish lakes, Delta/salt. Thanks for making this video! Landed my first fish on a lure in trout territory!
Great info, awesome video as always! I need pointers on determining how deep to set a floater when bait fishing for trout on deep pockets at the base of runs and eddies. I use a adjustable spring floater and live worm. Also depth issues with in line spinners in these spots. I'm adding split shots on the main line above my barrel swivel. medium to fast moving currents
Gear being used:
Rod: Okuma Celilo 6'6" 2-6LB Ultra light
Reel: Spinning Okuma C-10
Line: P-Line 10# braid with teflon coating
#10-12 Barrel and snap swivels
Bait holder hooks size 8-10
Trout magnets
Lures: Panther Martin #0-2 spinners 1/8 to 3/8oz various colors & Thomas spoons
Leader: Berkley Vanish 10# Flouro approx 3' bumper
We will try to make a video about depths and controlling them with weight or correct fishing methods. COMING SOON!
I find undercut banks are good, as well as places where the creeks pinch down to very narrow slots, especially when there is tall grass on each side. These places usually are pretty deep and give the fish an easy hunt, because everything just comes naturally within their maps!
"Arian predators" man these fish are pressured enough without the need to hide from Nazi's. ;) Much love great videos! You have taught me lots
This was super helpful, very informative. Great video
Great video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks again Jordan! you're awesome Troutman!
Another great video as always!!
Wowww bro this is the video i was looking for❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You forgot cut banks, usually on the outsides of bends, it doesn't look like your creek has them, but they are one of the best trout holds you can find. Big Cheers on these creek trout videos because this is my favourite way to fish.
I only started fishing smaller streams recently. Tons of fun trying to think like a trout. Just got to adapt to the environment and not lose that favorite spinner you love so much haha
I love it, it's like "hunting" for fish, you gotta be sneaky and quiet and stealthy, have to think of where the fish would be and how to make your presentation without spooking them.
As a Colorado angler who both fly and spinner fish I appreciate you guys showing us it’s ok to spin fish in a river. A lot of fly fishermen out here seem very elitist and sometimes it’s fun to throw a spinner rather than a bugger. Love the videos boys
You explain things VERY VERY WELL. Thank you so much.
Great info guys, thanks! I'll be trying it tomorrow.
That last spot is one of my favorites. If it's where I'm thinking of. Looks just like it.
Great Video. Very Informative! I am going out Tomorrow for trout, so I will use these tips and Tricks! New Sub here too!
Trout fishing streams is probably my favorite type of fishing. Gonna take a crack at fly fishing for them but in need of a good guide so Jordan, if you see this comment let me know your info. because I would love to get out on the water with you. Again, as always great video and love what you guys do!!
Lots of great info in the video as well as the comments. I'm new to Trout Fishing and only have stocked Trout here in Oklahoma Nov-Mar but today is opening day and I'm excited to get out there.
great video jordan kills it everytime
Love your channel respect from Colorado man !
Teaching me so much about fishing. I’m just really learning how to really trout fish. So much fun
I love the dog just chilling in the background of some shots.
You are the MAN!!!thanks for all the great tips!
i caught a few trouts in denmark on your tips! thank you!
Great job Jordan !
Thank you so much for these tutorials. I have developed a sudden interest in fishing and these videos have been super helpful. Clear, concise and down to earth information. Thanks again - Joe.
Thanks for the tutorial! Be nice to see you cast a few times to show us newbies how to fish. We'll be watching.
Very helpful, thanks!
I really want one of those addicted Oregon shirts. I mainly fish the Clackamas and Columbia, and your advise has been invaluable.
Thanks for all the helpful tips
Awesome. Thank you for this.
Thank you. Enjoyed your video, especially because I’m a newbie and still learning. I wish you would have spent more time showing the spots while describing them. Thanks again.
Great videos ! Thanks
I subscribed yesterday and I'm already on the fish thank you bro's you rule
Great stuff thank you 🙏🏾
Great channel with great content...
Dude you got the best tips yet I'm over here on crook creek and nothins bitin worm spinner
Thanks for sharing
Even a bad fishing hole is better than no fishing hole.. great video gentlemen
just found ya man time to binge your vids
Good video. Nice tips
My favorite is when faster water drops down a mini waterfall of rocks to a slower pocket. Cast a nymph upstream and let it fall down. Fish like to sit at the base of mini waterfalls.
I’m new to this channel and I really like the deep explanations. One thing I would want to see is tips on which bait suits the most in every water type that you show
Thanks so much!
such a beautiful spot.
Lmao BRO at 7:45 i thought that was a bear behind you 😂
Another great video! I was actually thinking king about a video like this the other day and BOOM! Here it is! You should do one on how you would fish spoons in similar water. I have a BUNCH of spoons and I never use them, partially because I'm not sure how exactly to use them since I never do any good on them. Also, you know it's ok to breathe in this videos right? Lol You talk so fast and I know it's because you have alot of info to put into a short video but no one would be upset if you took a breath lol
Awesome tutorial
you explain great thank you
As someone who is new to Trout Fishing, I really appreciate all the help and tips. Headed to Tennessee next week to try and get after some Trout. Thank you all so very much.
Love trout fishing it's relaxing and stress reliving the tug is my drug awesome tatorial
Great video
Beautiful river man
You should make a trout addicted episode!
Trout like to hang out in waters that are 2-4 ft deep tho they can be at any depth also love the vids love the life love fishing keep up all the good work and happy catching from exxel gaming to @addictedfishing
Nice!
Thanks 🙏
My favorite fishing. Trout and bass
Right after watching this video I went fishing in a river nearby, I caught a 22 inch Grey Trout(2 inch away from being legal to keep) and 25 inch pike that I kept. So I can confirm it work 😁
Cool channel!
Your the best brotha very informative. Gotta watch out for those damn arian birds though lol.
Great info on what water to fish. I will also add that there are a lot of trout caught out of pocket water between the prime runs. The prime runs will always be your high percentage spots but hitting the pockets in between can pay off more often than you might think. This goes for steelhead as well.
Biggest problems I see with people fishing on the steam is casting, a bunch needs better casting skills (you are great btw) I find 90% of my biggest fish under logs and under the cut bank in the heat of summer and both are really tough places to hit the lure Great video!
That fast water is where I tend to catch more smaller fish
New to trout fishing and your channel. Do you have any guidance about what kind of bait lure to use, when to use it and where in the river or stream to use the bait or lure
Caught my first 15 inch brown today!
