I caught a little brookie this weekend and my young daughter wanted me to "tell Marlin and Jordan we caught a fish." Thank you. I feel like I can't get enough of these tutorials, even if it's something you've covered before.
I'm a avid trout fisherman but watching your videos have showed a few new approaches I have started to adopt! Also I wanted to let you know I tried a bailout twitcher for the 1st time and smashed some rainbows!
Ive watched hours of your content this summer after trying fishing on father’s day. Today i caught my first big boy brown trout and i couldnt be more stoked!
Question on the braid to swivel to flouro set up with clip-on weight on top of the swivel to prevent losing the complete set up. Now if your weight get caught up on the rocks, floor, wouldn't you lose everything + the swivel if weight is on top the swivel? Or is to goal to not let it get stuck drifting and hope for the best?
Hey my home river. Im a fly fishing guide out here. And yup theres some good ones in there. Spring is fun but the fall is my absolute fav for the little bigger sea run variety.
Sorry to comment more than once lol I noticed you got some rapalas those are really good, a tip I learned is switching to a 3 inch swim bait on a jig head I have way better hook up ratio and don't bust the lips off on rocks then be out a 8 dollar lure
Like the braided line idea and the setups. As a novice it would be nice if the store sold full setups. Rod reel spooled. Need a new rod but have to go elsewhere.
The medium works well if you use jerk baits or heavy spoons, you'll have trouble casting smaller lures and that is where the light or ultralight rod comes in
My boy knigge big part of why I just began fishing and mostly trout fishing. I’d love some advice at being better at getting the hook out the fishes mouth. I’m trying to do as little damage possible. I’m starting to catch fish and any advice on quickly making sure I’m not gna hurt them or kill them would be appreciated.
Watched a few videos, and I've gotta ask "why exactly do you think youre qualified to teach other people how to fish"? Your presentation style is great, and its fantastic that you dont edit together a fake video of unrealistic catch rates, but ... shouldnt you actually be able to catch at least SOME fish before cashing in on the RUclipss?
@@AddictedFishing copy that! I didn’t understand, as they were the first comments posted when I watched the video. Made zero sense to me. I love the videos and the comment section.
I'm a simple man, I see my Knigge, I watch.

Jordan at it again!!!! Keep up the great content I will continue to support this channel!!
I love the trout version of "Here I Go Again". I haven't caught a single fish since moving to Oregon, so I will be singing that a lot. 😮💨
Roughly where about in Oregon are you? I'm sort of near salem and there are some killer spots around
Great tutorial. Thanks for the info. Gotta find me some sculpin jigs for sure
Rooster tails are probably the best all around lure. Especially the black and silver. Caught my first 2 salmon off those.

Thanks for the info Jordan!! Love yall! ❤
Jordan, What are your thoughts on a duo lock for fast swap out of lures?
I think it ruins the action of the lures.
I've seen you use snap locks, is there a diffenence in action between those and a duolock? @@AddictedFishing
Where I fish there’s trout and bass so im looking for a rod that can handle both, can this kind of rod do the work?
you do by chance happen to catch some fish on your how to video's😏 Jordan? Love em. Keep it up
i was wondering if using a medium rod with fast action is ok or is using a light rod way better?
The medium works well if you use jerk baits or heavy spoons, you'll have trouble casting smaller lures and that is where the light or ultralight rod comes in
@@JoshWensley gotcha thanks so much

Any tips on fly rod with that size of streamer in a river? Thanks for the video.
Can you make a playlist on your channel specifically for knots please
Y’all need to Come to NM and do a video. Streams are a little smaller here

Don't give up your day job to be a singer.
I’m sorry but in this video Jordan seems a little coked out.
Addicted guys buying comments that have nothing to do with the content…
Don't assume they're bought.
We’re not buying shit, it’s spam comments. We delete & ban & they keep coming back.
