I had this happen to my 2014 CC VR6 4Motion. Unfortunately in my case the problem was NOT the side light bulbs. I took the car to two independent shops and they could not pinpoint the problem. I finally took the car to a VW dealer because I got tired of the error light. The problem was the rear "leveling sensor". A few $100's later and it is all fixed.
I have a 2012 CC and it has the same problem, but it appears only in the first start of the day. If I turn off the car and start again it disappear.. I am trying to figure out what´s happening... maybe I have to replace the lamp bulb to solve it.
Where can I send your tip? Just picked up a FABULOUS and clean 2013 R-Line in San Diego last Wednesday with the 3 passenger rear seat configuration and am using it for part-time UBER. It is a DREAM, so comfy, stable, powerful, but wow, so many electronic gadgets that can go on the blink. This one had me stumped. Easy-peasy fix. Many thanks!
Oh, you know what is missing? My valet key to lock the trunk and to access to locking compartment separator between rear seat and trunk, behind the fold down arm rest.
I’m on a vacation in Germany once I arrived got this failure on dashboard. Lights are working fine but don’t move with steering movement. Took it to workshop n they said it’s wiring problem n takes time cuz they must take off the bumper. The fail code is c108413
@@Frostyyy__ Yup, fixed, but my code was thrown by different issue. Yes, if a bulbs out, especially the bulb that lights up as you turn/signal it will give an AFS alert, but as said, that’s just a bulb change/fix. Which is not ALWAYS the reason as the poster kinda insinuates.
@@MartinAston00So what was your issue? I tried replacing the bulbs even though both were working and I’m still getting the AFS error. All headlights work and the self check works. But getting the error anyway.

When you turn on your turn signals a cornering light should light up whichever side the turn signal is activated. So look for the side that doesn’t light up.
I get the same message, but mine it not the bulb, I've scan the car and its saying the swivel module is faulty. The thing is I don't know where the swivel module is situated. Can you offer any advice.

I have a swivel module error, the lights work normally, when i put the key i see the "xenon exercise" but he gives me that error in the dash, i think the swivel is a part of the hole headlight.

I have the same warning light that comes on after a few moments on a 2013 CC.... are you saying it's always the middle left bulb which needs to be replaced?
stephen davis I went back to the dealer, he disable my right headlamp (fault message code said right headlamp) and he disconnect all the wire just to check if there was loose connection to the wire or wet contact. He also told my that I had to replace the hole headlamp. But after he did that the fault message is gone. I also changed those cornering bulbs just to try even if their works. And some how it works..worth trying if you had the same problem.

Would this be just for headlight bulb or could it be a running light/Blinker light as well ? Both my headlights work

Changed the bulb and error indicator never extinguished.

Just bought and installed some led corning bulbs from Amazon, still have the error mssg, do need to reset ?
You need to install an additional resistor, otherwise the computer sees the LED as burned bulbs

This will only work if your VW uses bulbs for Corning lighting. Mine does not use a single bulb but instead turns the projector itself.

I am about to change one of the speed sensor, i dont know if that can cause that fault too.

You might have to manually reset the light, check the owners manual.

Daniel Luttner yes, the middle bulb that faces the corner is the cornering bulb.
