    Thank you for your video! My mk7 is also having this issue and the thing is, I have checked the corning lights lamp if they are blown but they're not and are not coming up whenever reversing or steering, also the main lights deeps and swevels to side and come back up has normal when I turn on the car. The error only comes up when I drive a little bit.
    Please could you share where is this component located? Can you give the OEM part code? Mine is the left side I checked on OBD11.
    Thank you so much

    Hi was wondering if you get a chance to reply to my message. On my dash im getting an afs cornering light error. The cornering lights decided to stop working one day. So ive tried a bulb change and that did not help. ive also noticed my headlight aim has gone way off. So i plugged it in to diagnostics. Which im getting a couple erroes
    55-level control xenon headlights
    C1082F0- Right Headlamp Power Output Stage, Not Coded
    C108231-Right Headlamp Power Output Stage, No Signal

      Hey thanks for the comment. This can be caused by the power control module on the headlight going faulty or becoming full of water.. wiring checks and visuals of the modules including a swap from left to right to see if the fault moves would be required and then go from there…new modules do require coding to the vehicle

    Hi everyone, I also had the same problem with the sensor, I changed the damaged level sensor but the problem with the directional headlights persists, not even the mechanic knows what it could be.

      The directional headlights error seems to me after 20 minutes of driving I checked all the headlights they are all working I have a golf 7.5 GTI Thank you and keep up the good work

      Hey thanks for the message and to be honest not all headlamp faults will be this issue so a fresh diagnostic session could uncover a module fault or wiring fault which could be your issue

    Great vid. Having the same issue. AFS warning but bulbs are fine. Did notice the left fog light unit is not working though. How many of these level sensors are there and where are they located? Many thanks.

      Upto 2 on the golf mk7 matey always on a suspension arm you’ll see it but it’s best to have the codes read so you’ve got a general idea of which diag path to follow, Thankyou for the mega comment love hearing from everyone

      Thanks for the info. Fault code is C108A07. Right swivel module mechanical fault but the whole assy has been replaced and bulbs are good.

    Hey, I have a mark 7 GTi same issue ... It actually appeared months back but then vanished and everything worked fine again for another few months but has now come back and headlights stay in a very low 'safe position' at night, should a fault code reader tell me which one of the 3 sensors it is? As I obviously don't want to change all 3 as the sensors are pricey 😅...

    • @TheVWMechanic_official
      @TheVWMechanic_official  10 месяцев назад

      Hey buddy they default to low position to not blind other drivers as your aware but yeah a good scanner should be able to point you to the correct corner

    Hello Mate, I have a MK7 GTD that's showing this Error: bending lighting (AFS) Fault , When i plug in the reader I am getting the following two codes C108313 & B12ECF2. After I check the bulbs, Would you advise starting with the leveling sensor in this video ? thanks a million !

    • @TheVWMechanic_official
      @TheVWMechanic_official  Год назад

      Hey buddy if your bulbs are ok then it will be further diag you can check the suspension components but one of your fault codes listed is for power supply B12ECF2 so I would advise looking into that

    Hello mate, what diagnostics programme did you run to give you the open circuit error, I've ran a standard OBD 11 reader which gives no faults at all, and I had a garage run Vagcom and it only came up as the same.message on.my dash the same standard AFS BEND LIGHT ERROR" any diagnostics I run doesn't seem.to give me which sensor is faulty, ive checked all the relevant fuses and I just changed out the LHR sensor and performed a battery reset and the fault cleared temporarily and the bend lights worked again but its now intermittent keeps popping up on the dash again and then vanished? 🤯🥴🥴 Other than changing the front two sensors also I'm at a bit of a loss?
    Cheers

      Hey buddy we use Odis as we are a dealership but it won’t always tell you the fault you’ve gotta do the diagnostics to determine what’s causing this issue

      @@TheVWMechanic_official ok nice one, it's frustrating because even the OBD reader I have supposedly scans the headlight regulation systems but it never picks any kind of fault up at all just comes back clean,
      Thanks again

      @aaronbrennan3563 it’s the frustrating bit of having so many scan tools out there that advertise being able to do a lot more than they actually can costing people so much money

    Hi! On my CC I have the bend lighting (AFS) failure and the DCC buttons flashing, could this level sensor be the cause?

    • @TheVWMechanic_official
      @TheVWMechanic_official  9 месяцев назад +1

      It could be a cause yeah so it’s worth checking out very common and easy to spot
