🥳Later today we're having a LIVE STREAM BOOK LAUNCH CELEBRATION Sunday 4pm PT/&pm ET. See you there!
When Christine said (with a tiny pause) "this is like... ours now" and then blushed slightly looking at Collin
They’re such a sweet couple and make such great decisions as a team. ❤️🥰
I love how they make decisions together. They’ll make great parents.
Completely agree!
"You just keep doing what you're doing, Charlie!"
RICKI COULD NEVER! 😂😂😂
Ohhh Ricki ❤
Hey Dani! I hope you are well!!!! We miss you!
These episodes are not long enough 😂 I can't wait till next week 🤣😊
agreed!!
@SpaceMakerMethod i think you could release cut scenes in a tiny video mid week xD
“I’d like to keep 90…” Had me bark laughing!!! That and momma going shopping from the donation pile :)) So enjoy this series :)
Christine, the Supreme Decluttering Machine! She and Collin deserve every prize ever made for decluttering. What a great couple, working in unison. If this was my house there would have been tears and meltdowns 😅
Absolutely love the way they communicate to each other about what they want to keep and don’t use ❤
❤️ same. They were so great with their communication that Mary and I just wanted to stay in the kitchen and let them do their thing.
5 FULL BOXES!!!!! AND THE SHELF!!!! THAT IS AMAZING!!!! Thank you for sharing this journey with us 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love this show it makes you realize you can live and be happier with less stuff
That makes me happy to hear!
It's so nice to see a couple decluttering together, and it all being so good natured.
They’re the best 💛
Omg Christine and Collin did a fantastic job decluttering. Mary is have a great time shopping in the living room 😂 The space in the kitchen is unreal. It looks beautiful and cosy. I’m looking forward to seeing it totally sorted.
April congratulations on the book. I’m absolutely delighted for you. Have a great week everyone. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐕🦺
I think some barstools at the bar in the kitchen would create a sitting area for someone to hang out while the other is cooking. Or another thought is to add a small table where the bench is, maybe move the bench somewhere else. The kitchen just needs to feel more welcoming so that you can hang out in there.
I love this couple and how they are so respectful of each other.
I'm just loving this organizational baby getting ready for baby episodes. I just love how the mom and dad work so well together and the mom is there to help. This is awesome and to see the transformation already. I can breathe easier. LOL
I thinkmy body automatically wakes up at 5 am on Sunday to watch you.
Hehe! 😉 love that!
@@peggynorton5145 same! This should be my one sleep-in opportunity for the week yet my body wakes up for decluttering videos 🤣
Her mom is so cute😂. I like their kitchen and their house in general seems cozy. Very sweet couple💛
Oh wow, I love how decisive the couple is and how much they got rid of. Super job all of you!
I absolutely love this series! Christine and Collin are amazing, makes me look forward to every sunday
It’s just a cozy hang out day with their fam 💛
I could feel myself getting more of a sense of calm as the kitchen was decluttered!!! 😊Very wonderful job all!!!❤❤🎉
Me too!!
YAY!!! They are such beautiful people.
It's a good one!
I've ordered my book, it's coming Wednesday. it's not because I'm stressing over my stuff, it's because I love your channel xx and I do need advice for some areas. thanks April
Thank you so much 😊❤️ I hope you love it.
This is one of my favorite declutters I love that the hubby is helping to! And mom❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such a great couple making decisions for the benefit of their life together X
These guys are amazing! I feel calmer with what they have done so far so I can’t even imagine how they feel
Such a fun declutter. You all work so well together and make instant decisions. Kudos. There will be fun times and great memories to be made in that kitchen
Big fan of everything going into closed storage for the dust factor alone. Feels much safer for everyone!
That was a really good day of decluttering. Can't believe how many measuring spoons and cups they had. I have one of each and never need a second version. We all acquire loads of random basins, bowls and things with lost lids over time. I would say we probably all need to do this to our kitchens every couple of years.
As a hot person though I am bemused by the number of blankets everyone seems to want cluttering up their homes. We live in centrally heated houses now, we have never needed a blanket less, and yet they are everywhere! And cushions come a close second. First thing I do when I sit down is chuck the cushions on the floor. I have very few. I don't know how to sit down with them in the way.
I love that you have helped them create a living area, a dining area and a usable kitchen. We all need our homes to flow and not be overwhelming.
We store things like muffin tins and cake pans in the bottom drawer of the store. And we have a hanging rack above the stove for the skillets, etc. We have a roaster pan in the cupboard where we store all the lids.
You guys are amazing, kitchens are hard. If your serving ware is in the basement will you forget about it? I have a small kitchen with no space for the pretty plates etc, I got a medium sized cupboard in my dining room for it, that also became my boundary for how much I could have
We’re going to have a nice space for it that you guys will soon see in the basement. 😊
Kitchens I find can be a bad place for clutter accumulation, especially when you have electronic devices for every type of cooking (when you really only need a cooker), and the massive number of plastic food storage boxes. Sometimes electronic devices can be useful, but they can also be a nuisance if you don't use them often and need somewhere to store it. I also find that kitchens should be one of the least cluttered areas of your home because you need to be able to clean it easily on a regular basis.
For future clearing out of drawers, I would suggest having a basket/bin/box handy to load up vs using hands and multiple trips! Love the questions asked by all when sorting!!
Dealt with my clean laundry while watching, and even got rid of a couple of things that weren't working for me :)
Yay! 😃💪🏻
I love this TEAM EFFORT!!! ❤
I’m always so happy to see you a one hour video🙏🏻😍 they are a great team! Always have to laugh when Mary is sneaking around the declutter pile😂😂
Great work! There were two things Christine said about choosing newer over older and nicer over what they used, that could lead to declutter lessons that I have learned.
We have preferences, nicer doesn't mean we like using them. Newer also doesn't mean we should keep them over older. It's ok to like what you like using and get rid of the rest.
My other thought is about measuring cups, before getting rid of all the extras, consider if you have food containers that you like to keep a measuring cup in, like pet food or coffee.
I never think I’m going to like the current decluttering as much as the previous one but this is amazing!!
I do recommend either borrowing a 9 month old or crawling around yourself to see what you can reach. That storage thing on the backside of the kitchen looks like a climbing gym filled with breakable items! Vase cabinet also looks tantalizing to a tot. People bring different philosophies on child proofing, so for me personally, I found creating spaces that work for adults and also don’t require regular redirection or saying no worked best.
Loving this series. U are a gr8 team and u r gonna smash the basement when u get to it.
Cant wait to hear how u love the new kitchen space. Bring on next sunday!
April, I love your channel so much! I have been subscribed for well over a year but recently I decided to watch every video from oldest to newest to make sure that I have watched everything. You are so amazing and so is the space maker method!! This is another fantastic series. I was wondering what happened to Tracy and if there would be any more videos coming for her series?
Thank you so much and YES more Tracy coming up next week :) We still have her kitchen and living room to go through.🙂
@@SpaceMakerMethod So exciting!! 😁
Can you make more than one video a weekend? I need a mid- week Sunday🤩
Wow it's astonishing what was squirreled away in there that they didn't use or need! So much better now and looking forward to part 2 😃. I have a tiny kitchen so I have to be BRUTAL with one in one out.
I would love to remove the high bar behind the stove, with a low table where I could put a high chair to feed the new baby confortabily. I think it would be super functional and would also visually expand the entire space.
Almost one hour of decluttering with you guys! 😍 SO exciting!
So enjoyable to watch amazing couple making great decisions together looking forward to next week The kitchen feels comforting to cook
Although it's charming, I'd replace the china cabinet behind the door with two tall pantry cabinets with doors. One could be used for food/appliance storage and the other for vacuum cleaners/cleaning products/etc). Then the storage bench could be repurposed to hold dog food and other pet-related items.
This was a great episode guys! Those measuring spoons and koozie collections were epic. I could hear the kitchen breathe😂.
🤣😃
Very helpful - thank you! Ps: I use single measuring spoons left IN or next to the jar of a few spices/ herbs that I use a lot, and the tea/coffee jar.
My favourite series to date……Love these guys!
We store our bread in the microwave! We don't have much so it's easy to take out and put back when the microwave is needed
What a lovely outcome! So impressed how these two make decisions together. Just think of the wonderful life in front of you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
So much incredible progress is being made, it's inspiring!
Just loving this series! So excited for Christine and Collin!! They are doing an amazing job! Can't wait for the next one! 💖
I have unhooked all my measuring spoons (2 sets metal) and put them in a small utensil holder by the large utensil holder on the counter. It has been life changing. I also get to enjoy the utensil holders that I picked and like seeing
They are the best team and so determined. The house is looking great!
I feel like Christine needs an app for all her vases and tableware (like her wardrobe) to keep track of what she has! Is that a thing?! 😅
Such a lovely family to work with.
Marys a big helper but if she keeps taking things she may be the next show lol😆
This!
I'm really excited to begin your book 💛
Yay! Hope you love it! Thanks for getting a copy ❤️
I love the decluttering its looks great! Just an idea maybe aesthetic wise don’t show the Tupperware in the glass cabinet and put cuter item in the glass cabinet above the counter?
We went over that idea but they preferred having them in that location (rather than swapping out either of the cabinets over the sink). It made sense for the flow of the kitchen for them
Can this extend from the planned spaces to the whole house like Dani’s declutter did? I love this couple already and don’t want this series to end. And as a mom of young kids who got into decluttering when I became a parent, the less stuff to manage, the better !!
There will be 10 total episodes of this series (3 down, 7 to go) and yes, we tackle the whole house!
@@SpaceMakerMethod that is fantastic news!! It’s amazing how easily decluttering seems to come to them right from the start. I’ve definitely needed multiple rounds in my space. And their calmness and support of each other is so sweet. You all working together is so inspiring!
This video is phenomenal!! ❤ It made me feel so happy for this growing family. Wow! This is my dream kitchen with the brick! They have so much nice stuff, and now they can properly use it .
This is my FAVORITE RUclips channel….I look forward to each new episode ❤. I think Collin is more attached to his stuff than Christine 😅
I love your kitchen! And then find out all the work you did to make it that beautiful kitchen totally amazes me! Great work and design!
Awesome how they work together! Great declutter!!❤😊
Absolutely love that kitchen!! The brick and that pretty blue ❤ its beautiful!!
Awesome job! Maybe think about with the measuring cups & spoons, you kept two sets exactly the same so do you use more than one set at a time? If you do then great but I just have one set of measuring cups & one set of measuring spoons 😊
Great job. Loved that they were able to get rid of that extra shelf!
I look forward to these videos above all my subscriptions!! Please keep doing these!
They are doing a great job decluttering. It will feel so good when the baby comes, that they have more room.
The next stop for April may need to be Mary’s house. Hahaha! As someone who likes to bake, I keep two sets of measuring spoons and two sets of measuring cups. It will be enough.
😂🙊
Great job, all of you. Looks so much cleaner and spacious. WOW
April, you are a true artist. This was amazing!
Maybe they could buy a smaller island that they can prep on and for storage.i didn’t realize the cook stove was in the middle. I thought it was all shelves. They did such a great job.
I can't imagine an easier couple to work with!
I absolutely enjoyed watching this weeks episode guys!!! Looking forward to more !! xoxoxooxoxoox
You guys ROCK❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such a great episode! They are making great progress so far!
There are silicone lid replacements that are a softer silicone that doesn’t crack like those. I found mine on Amazon and they are the teal blue color too.
Mary doesnt look old enough to be Christines mother. but she is going to be a fantastic grandmother. I think a week is a long long time to wait for the next step.
Wine glasses fit better putting them by alternating one up one down. Saves so much space.
great teamwork! awesome result.
Think about the vase cabinet, it is too low for babies/toddlers need to move to high shelves.
That’s a great question. They also have a box full of safety items to put in place after I leave so I’m thinking they’ve probably already planned to secure it soon.
Congratulations on the book, April! I'm quite a new follower, absolutely loving your channel and binging all your videos. 😊 This couple is amazing! I live alone and find just having sets of 4 dishes, glasses, etc. saves me so much washing up!
Do the pyrex dishes stack inside each other? Could save a bit more space 😊
Love the kitchen now so glad to see that shelf go out lol and it will only get better I think she needs some hooks for her broom and vaccum or something to store them in
Great video, inspirational.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@SpaceMakerMethod I hope you also make a series of this
wow 5 boxes..well done. can I suggest to move th ebench to the bar, where that shelving unit was? makes the passage bigger and the trashcans can go in it's place , just an idea ;-)
Congrats on your new book! Look forward to reading it
I would suggest not getting any (or maybe just 2 or 3) bottles pre-birth, because you just don't know what you'll need.
I hardly *ever* used bottles (breastfeeding + only did some pumping) + later on we had a single bottle our kid used when they were big enough to hold their own drink.
BUT way to go with all the decisions! you are doing so well :D
Also: Can you take the measuring spoons/cups off the rings? Cuz then you only have to wash the one or two you've used (instead of the whole set each time...)
I feel the bench in the kitchen is too bulky and out of place. It would be better served near the front door, where they can sit and put their shoes on. Then they could have a small cafe table, perfect for babies high chair, and informal dinners and morning coffee,. I agree on the bar stools, but they must be thin, so that that back door can open. That may not be needed if they had the cafe table, maybe they can lower it at some point in the future and open up the line of sight behind the stove, making space for a young child to sit and play with playdoh, and watch the parents cook, later for homework, etc. Great job cleaning out all the kitchenware, I see myself having to do the same thing, so many duplicates!
I'm so excited for you 2.😅
They’re going to be the best parents ❤️
Loving this series!!!
I had an omega juicer I was using pretty often but decided I prefer smoothies in my vitamix too so I sold the juicer 💚
This may not work if the sizes are all different and you have more than one thing on the stove at a time but I got a universal lid and it has ridges so it fits on 4 different pot or skillet sizes so I could get rid of all the other lids.
So satisfying ❤
I enjoyed it so much!
Awesome! I kept wondering where the actual food is that you cook with…. There must be a pantry somewhere in there…??
Two sturdy bar stools with backs would be very helpful when baby is old enough to sit up so parents can have baby in the kitchen with them in a booster seat with straps.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ love u
💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Pyrex lids cost as much as a Pyrex set. :(
Best luck with your new book!
