Very neat work! 👍Your video is as fantastic as always. Really glad you emphasize safety and take care of yourself during dusty work. Our dust masks can offer you safe and comfortable protection.
I've been watching for the last few years now and what I have learnt from yourself and Justin ( Brickright ) has saved me a fortune. The techniques, hints, tips and methods I've picked up from your videos has been priceless. I'm buy no means an expert ( actually I'm not very good ) but I'm not afraid of having a go thanks to your videos. Keep up the great work Scott , see you on the next one.
Had my patio done last year, with the brush-in method and it just sticks to the top of the gap, leaving a big gap below and it just collapsed after a while, I had to re-do mine properly like you have done it! Well said!
I wouldn’t take notice of anybody on those landscape pages 90% of them are happy to put cross joints in there patios I finished a small one today and done exactly that love the advice and keep it coming top banana 🍌
We do it like you mix in bucket ,wet slabs compact in with iron all the way ! Key board warrior’s should read the instructions in pot ( if they can read) it says in bold writing firmly compact !!!! Crack on with the good work cheers Nick
Never used this stuff but have to agree. It makes sense to compact it into the joints. Trouble is most contractors wanna get the job done asap collect their money & run. They dont care how long it lasts.

Diy'er here and you're videos have been a massive help from start to finish thanks, happy with how its turned out so far, if i use this method instead of brushing in can i reseal the tub and use it on a second day? 33sqm dont think i will get it all on the first day its taking me alot longer than you do it😂
I used that same gear two weeks ago and it was crap. I 100% agree the brush doesn’t work. Especially on 5/6mm joints. I used a glove and bag rubbed it in to push It down. Patios stunning now tho
@@tidybrickslandscaping thanks boss I will look into that. Thanks for the advice from a fellow trowel who does similar projects to yourself it’s good to share tips n tricks. Keyboard warriors are usually pish site bashers 👍🏼
I’ll be doing a dynamic video soon testing it out so either hang tight wait for me or crack on and let me know 👍🏴 I’ll use the same method anyways
Actually know as there’s a chance of fluorescence coming out of the slab around 6 months after install and you need that to go first before sealing 👍🏴

@@tidybrickslandscaping I you got to compress the joint, I guess these days the compounds don't shrink like they used to at least with flow point you know it's good as long as you get it right with the timing you do great work I'd like to see a brush in compound.thats 100%

Love the idea of putting the water in the tub and trowel it in...much less messy...
