I remember 1 time I went on it and someone threw a huge stack of napkins at the top of Superman! It took forever for those napkins to fall back down to land haha

Its wild how much this ride varies in terms of where it reaches on the tower. Recently ive seen it reach the trims at the top on some vids and barely reach the red on others.
I think it has to do with it being such an early lunch system and being able to accounts are so many different variables such as weather and weight and so on… Also probably maintenance
I had bad luck with this ride in 2014. First it was closed when we got there then it opened up later in the day but we were already busy doing other rides. By the time we got there, it closed again and stayed that way for the rest of the day.
Dang I got real lucky on my first visit in 2013 and both sides were open
I had Bad Luck with Superman as well.
My 1st trip to SFMM in 30 years, last time I went was when I lived in L.A. back in the early 90's.
I recently went out for Vacation this past September, the 29th of '22, and quite a few Ride Closures and Superman was 1 of them. Fortunately, Lex was Open, but Wanted so badly to try and ride Superman. That day I went, was on a Thursday, and that's probably why quite a few Ride closures.
What Days, does Superman usually Operate and Run❓️

I've also got Horrendous Bad fortune when it comes to getting to and on this Ride.
I've Finally got on it once this last October 10-13-23 around noon time and rode it Fowards.
I went just this last Sunday hoping it be Open on a Beautiful bright sunny afternoon and it was Closed the whole day. 😖👎
It just Opened up again yesterday and of course when I'm not there. 😒
Hoping to go this Monday and Finally try this Backwards. 😎🌴🎢👍
Im planning and looking fowards to going this Monday, and im praying SUPERMAN is Open because the App has it as such.
I tried it Finally on Fright Fest 10-13- 23 Fowards and Now would ❤️ and 🙏 I can get on it Backwards this next time.
I believe every coaster has been running of recent on a daily basis as of about a month ago. Which had been a problem for about a year and a half…

I went on a Thursday this past September, the date 9/29/22 right during Fright Fest, and it was Closed.
I've heard Superman is Never open On Thursday's, but rather on Weekends only, is this correct❓️
What About also, on random days such as Mon-Wed❓️

I believe it very rare that they run both on the same day…
What's Astounding is when your further away from the Superman/Lex Ride and structure,, it Looks Way Taller than when your actually close by.
The Aerials of the entire 415 foot structure look Insanely Tall when the Superman trains leave the station on their way towards the Top.
Both rides look Insanely Taller when they are going either Up or down sulmitaniously.
The Tower, at least to me, Looks the Tallest as you Pass Jet Streamer, and walk closer to Crazanity.
When you walk towards Twisted Colossus and Look up towards the Lex gondolas dropping, is when it looks Insanely Tall from the Back of the ride.
The other views are from the Parking Lott, And just as you enter Full Throttle area.
Those to me, if I were one afraid of heights, where I'd not want to entertain the thought of getting aboard Superman or Lex.
Thankfully, I'm not, and Lex Luthor was Outstanding and Beat out my Expectations. I've still yet, to ride Superman Foward or backwards. It's a MUST. 😎👍

@@infrapriman I know that. But, I really miss the Superman statue like it used to as forward facing. Also, I just went to the forward last year.

I've yet to even get aboard Superman and want to try both Fowards and Backwards.

It was my 1st time back at SFMM in 30 years, and while many New additions have been Added, there were many ride closures that Thursday my Brother and I went to the Park. SUPERMAN, X2, SCREAM, Viper were All CLOSED.
Is Superman much more Active in the Spring and especially Summer❓️

Definitely the biggest noisemaker and quite possibly the most boring coaster at SFMM.
