I think your panel was very technically weak. I expected the digital forensics "expert" to say that raw cell phone data used by the defense should be given to the defense and confirmed by the cell phone company that this is the complete data set.
Being too far away from the crime is a simple alibi. When your alibi involves being alone you have to hope that an expert can prove it when the police concluded that “they couldn’t track his phone, therefore most likely he turned it off to conceal his whereabouts before driving his own car to the house of some people he had been stalking”…
Well so far the car has no victim or suspect DNA in it and the suspect didn’t stalk the victims of the crime… That’s Zero for 2 to the prosecution.
Now we hear that as the PCA even states, the possibility exists that his phone was not in a mobile service area or in aeroplane mode.
The accused has an expert that’s reviewed the phone data himself (in line of the prosecution or FBI being forthcoming with the CAST report) and the defence expert is saying, the GPS data is there, the accused was in a no mobile service area and the GPS data is in at least one photo he took.
Further to this, the prosecution has either been aware of this and concealing exculpatory evidence or has intentionally removed/failed to preserve this exculpatory evidence from their reporting so far.
I guess the prosecution has time to conveniently find it and add it to the final report that has been withheld ad nauseam.
So far we are looking like the prosecution is Zero for 3

Why turn his phone off in the middle of the night, while he was, "Stargazing?" Does he get lot's of annoying calls in the middle of the night? Get real.
The area he was in has mountains - the park is in a valley.

My battery is low all the time and if I forget my charger I turn if off until I need it or can charge it. You don't need to waste the battery in the middle of the night when you are not expecting any calls. Get real.
@@jlmann8109 that should be easily proven or disproven based on his cell phone data. It should indicate the exact time the phone died due to the battery dying. Let's see what comes out in trial.

The fact that you still have Gray Hughes on is so concerning. The man is straight up abusive. So abusive that he had to delete his live Stream today because the things that came out of his mouth were so awful. He was also Stargazing that late December night when he decided to clean the inside of his car at 4 am in rural ,Pennsylvania. That's why he walked the distance of over a 1/4 of a mile (Google Maps) to toss and conceal the rags and towels in the neighbours trash bins despite the fact there were trash cans on his parents property only 15 feet away .
That was videotaped by Pennsylvania State Police who had him under surveillance.
Just wait until the jury see's that. Hell even his own sister suspected him of being involved in the murders
It doesn’t prove that his hand was on the weapon as it ended the lives of four people though. Do we even have proof these four are deceased? Police didn’t have to go to PA to get his dna. This case is not normal.

Morgan and Hughes have both already said they think Kohberger is guilty, so their opinions on this new development are pointless. Egos often supersede the search for the truth.
well, since they have apparently made their opinions public, wouldnt it be logical to invite them to share if the «new development» has had any impact on those opinions? i also fail to see any indication of ego that they already know the truth and wont change their minds even when presented with evidence to the contrary.

I've checked and from 12am to 6am it was patchy freezing fog, overcast in places and -6. Not the best "Stargazing" conditions

They'll just say something like "well, even in cloudy/foggy weather Mr. Kohberger would continue driving around in search of clearer skies or wait for it to clear"

Yup! I checked Wundergound and it was cloudy and hazy for two days, November 13th and 14th respectively.
His alibi is that he was driving around. Stargazing is something he does on his drives. Doesn’t mean he did that night. 🤦🏻♀️

Two laymen guests regarding this case. One says that bk claimed himself that he switched his phone off (!) and the other is talking about the pca's route like a child learning the ABC for the first time.

When you look at the evidence, he is definitely guilty…
1. His DNA was on the knife sheath underneath one of the murdered victims
2. He drives a white Elantra that was spotted at the scene
3. He turned his phone off during the hours they were murdered and then turns it back on when he’s away from the crime scene
4. His alibi makes 0 sense, driving around star gazing on a cloudy night.
When you add it all up, it’s as clear as day that he is guilty. Just my opinion..

This is maddening. Until you can show me that the license plate on the circling white Elantra is the same as on Kohberger’s Elantra, the surveillance video has no relevance to his guilt or innocence.
well, it matters because we are not looking at each piece of evidence in a vacuum. for instance, the cell phone data and DNA evidence at the scene on top of video surveillance of a car matching his at the scene may all be considered to prove beyond «reasonable doubt» that he was at the scene of the crime. even if the cellphone data stops at some point, it may indicate he was traveling that direction at a time that would reasonably place him there.

Its looks amazing away from all Light Pollution. Its so common to do this its literally an American pastime 🇺🇸 AS IS PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE

Most, if not all, innocent people being arrested and charged with any crime, let alone of this magnitude, would have put forth their alibi immediately. His attempt to come up with one upon seeing the prosecution's evidence and timeline is very suspect.

Being too far away from the crime is a simple alibi. When your alibi involves being alone you have to hope that an expert can prove it when the police concluded that “they couldn’t track his phone, therefore most likely he turned it off to conceal his whereabouts before driving his own car to the house of some people he had been stalking”…
Well so far the car has no victim DNA in it and the suspect didn’t stalk the victims of the crime… That’s Zero for 2 to the prosecution.
Now we hear that as the PCA even states, the possibility exists that his phone was not in a mobile service area or in aeroplane mode.
The accused has an expert that’s reviewed the phone data himself (in line of the prosecution or FBI being forthcoming with the CAST report) and the defence expert is saying, the GPS data is there, the accused was in a no mobile service area and the GPS data is in at least one photo he took.
Further to this, the prosecution has either been aware of this and concealing exculpatory evidence or has intentionally removed/failed to preserve this exculpatory evidence from their reporting so far.
I guess the prosecution has time to conveniently find it and add it to the final report that has been withheld ad nauseam.
So far we are looking like the prosecution is Zero for 3
As for the gated closed National Park? Most people drive to the gates and walk or jog from that point on. Our skies are most beautiful away from towns, man made lights and pollution. Kohberger used to go jogging at night back home. I’m sure he’s got a track able history in Idaho and Washington States too.

Well technically it’s up to the prosecution to prove his guilt. He doesn’t need to provide an alibi. If you listened to them speak, his alibi hasn’t changed. Why won’t the prosecutor turn over discovery? How many people have solid alibis in the middle of the night? If he said he was sleeping would that be ok? Jack Ds alibi is that he was asleep. How did police prove that? Is there a video of him asleep when the crimes occurred? I doubt it.

They have never even proven that was his car, the cell towers don't work that way, they can show any phone near any house that is within 20 miles of the tower, it is anything but precise without at least 3 towers for triangulation. if he regularly did that to take pictures, why was his phone off? if the battery died, that phone data will say that, but if the defense is trying to say his intent was to take pictures then it makes no sense. it makes no sense anyway, but in this hypothetical extension of their story it still makes no sense.

The cell phone data shows he wasn’t in the area. Stalking claim now false. No connection with the victims. No victim DNA anywhere near him. He doesn’t say he was star gazing that night but rather this is to explain that he does this regularly He didn’t change his alibi because he’s telling the truth. You keep talking about the car they have on video with ZERO actual evidence it was even his car. The only question- taking all the above into account- is how one single touch DNA was found on the snap of the knife sheath - very convenient for the prosecution. Btw there was other DNA found at the scene but hey don’t need to investigate that cause we have our guy. Fkn cruel.

The prosecution (and the defense) will have to present RAW cell phone data from the phone company and then show how this was converted to gps locations with timestamps on a map. Since each tower has a range of anywhere from 1-3 miles there will be big circles for his location at each time point. The prosecution and defense data are in OPPOSITE directions so it doesn't seem both scenarios are possible.

The sheath is not a murder weapon. The dna could have transferred on their by him just being in the store it was sold in so it’s unreliable. What was the murder weapon? Ah ha! Police have not told us. It could have been a machete for all we know. It’s not a stupid excuse. He doesn’t need to provide an alibi. The prosecution has to prove his guilt. His phone pings off the king road tower even if he’s home in Pullman. If he comes to Moscow his phone pings. Doesn’t mean he’s stalking.
