This is one of the videos I watched on RUclips before taking my IT interview a few days ago, and I absolutely nailed it!
There were 6 interviewers in the room, and in the end, they told me I didn't have to wait for the result, because I was accepted!
Thank you!
I like your advice. I am also a recruiter and I conduct interview in our project. Sometimes I look past on the technical because I know it can be learned and I am most interested on their enthusiasm and response attitude.
If you don't know the answer in the interview, BE HONEST! I just had a technical interview at the beginning of the month. It was about 20 questions. I stressed my self afterwards because I didn't know 3 or 4. I got a call back and they said I had done an amazing job regardless. Just something to keep in mind
Havok91 apply for something else on their company then move up thats the easiest way to get in any job
Nice Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (search on google)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview without the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my BF after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.
Appreciate video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (do a search on google)? It is a good one off product for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.
It's ok to be honest, just not 100% of the time.
maybe the others hot 6 to 10 wrong lol PURE LUCK!
Got an interview in 12 hours. I’m nervous but this helped calm me a bit
Me too. Good luck to you man!

Thank you sir, I think you just simplify the IT interview expectation. You brought things down to earth. I wish my future interview comes this simple. Great tips !!!
The interview featuring seth rogan's brother
Lol I thought the same thing. Even sounds like Seth Rogan 😂
You're like an IT Seth Rogen. Chill Dude! Thanks for the help!
I have an interview for an IT Support Analyst position in 1 hour! This video has encouraged me a lot. Thank you!
Thanks for the confidence boost as I transition from my internship to looking for a proper job!
Awesome video filled with so much wisdom and someone who knows what is talking about a true IT professional. Thank you
This video has helped me a bit, I think. I've been putting out applications to places like crazy the past couple weeks for my first IT helpdesk position, and a few of them are on hiring managers desks, waiting for interview calls, I think this video will help me do better at answering their questions, and hopefully, give me a better shot at the job, thank you!
Thank you so much. I have an interview this week and you make me calm.
Thank you for this encouraging video. Going through this process of interviews now. I was discouraged thinking I wasn't fit for IT at one time.
"Don't get discourage" excellent advice dear Sir.
You provided some amazing feedback, thank you for this.
A big problem wit many IT jobs is the following:
1. The descriptions are unrealistic in a lot of jobs. Many times they're not even required by the job, you're suppose to do. A lot of this is, because of non-IT people writing the description.
2. Many times you aren't even interviewing with the IT Staff, which makes it hard to know what the job requires.
KevZen2000 yes!!
agree
I had an interview about two months ago where the Team Lead was trying to explain to me why a CCNA wasn't that beneficial. Fast Forward.. in person interview they gave "a real scenario that occurred with the company" months prior.. in which I resolved the problem literally within 5 minutes. They had a client in which they could not figure out connectivity issues.. they were not using the correct subnet mask.
This very same lead also wanted to make a point to me that Windows is worthless and Mac was the golden standard. I disagreed.. lol.. I never got an offer. Even the applied questions/answers from the interview questions were just flat out wrong. You hit the nail on the head. Non IT people do not write the job descriptions. They are the interviewers and hiring managers now!
I got my second round tomorrow. This helped me logic my way into a calm approach and what they expect. Hoping for the best
Just did my second tech interview and have been waiting in agony for a callback. I've been thinking the whole time about how it went. This video really made me feel better. I'm going to do lots of these and the point is to learn from it and move on. If I don't get the job it just might be that someone better got it, or someone's nephew lol.
How'd it go?
@@IDK-kv8ob That one didn’t go well. Took some time, but found a much better job where the interview did go very well. So all turned out for the best.
@@meathacker2491 If you don't mind, what kind of questions were you asked?
Picked up a lot of helpful tips here thank you. Cheers!
Thank you Sir! I'll have my interview in a few hours. I helps me a lot
will try to keep in mind and stay calm very helpful thank you
Exactly the way the internet question was posed. Good information
Fantastic video. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this, i feel so much better
I Really, appreciate this video so much I have had quite a few interviews where I felt like I absolutely crushed and in one of them they were talking about increasing the start pay and benefits in the interview, but did not get a callback and I was starting to become discouraged. You really lifted me up and I appreciate that.
Interview the interviewer, before during and after. Pass or fail, you'll learn more and it shows interest and enthusiasm ;)!
Great video, nice advices, thanks so much man !
Phew feeling much better for my interview tomorrow. Thanks bro.. Best advice
Great advice. Thanks a lot man.
Highly motivational. Thank you very much.
I have sat on a few of the interviews as a panel. Most of the time, we select a candidate for the job is based on their personality and how they will work well with the existing clients we support. Most interviewees are totally qualified for the job based on the resume. Thus, it is not about that they are not qualified like you said, they already landed the job interview. :) with interview practice, the interviewee can show more of their "natural" personality.
Great suggestions! Excellent sound recording!
Thank you so much for this. I have a interview tomorrow and am very nervous. But your right...if I don't land it. There will be more opportunities coming right behind this one.
After most interviews, employers have already made up there minds if they are going to make you an offer or not so I don't even bother following up anymore. You have to remember interviewing is a 2 way street, and there were plenty of employers who I didn't want to work for anyways so I was glad to never hear from them again and I've also turned down offers.
Good points even for conducting the interview....will be giving my first interview tomorrow.
I found troubleshooting issues, is to start with the simplest solutions first. This has helped me to fix countless issues.
Hi Zac, I recently graduated from technical college with 3.97 GPA I studied IT help desk support specialist which was total of 45 credits, I did total of 51 credits. So I have taken courses from Apple, windows, office, etc. I did a paid internship my final semester. I just interview for a part time Geek squad advance repair technician. You talk about your verbal thought process that is my weakness, lack experience in customer service, speaking on phone is another weakness. My problem is verbalizing what my skills are, I tend to answer 1-2 word answers vs to giving examples of my intern work experiencs or what I have learned in college. I am struggling with finding IT job due to my lack of work experience even though I have 3 yr technical Diploma. So it is discouraging to go to technical college, graduated with honors but now struggle with job interviews and finding the right job environment that will fit my needs without causing me to come overwhelmed or cause anxiety. Many want years of experience which is hard to get if nobody gives you the chance to be able to build up the years of experience.
Thank you for making this video.
Wonderful and encouraging video! Thank you!
Thank you soooo much great advice!
Thanks dude. It gives me a lot of idea
IT Interview tomorrow at 3pm. This helped, thanks.
Thanks for the tips
last part is the best. i was turned down last week. thanks man
Something I would like to add: be personable. It's one thing to have the knowledge, but part of the interview is to assess you as a person. They want to know if you will be a disruptive or untrustworthy employee as well. Don't be afraid to include non-work-related parts if your life. Hobbies, relationships, and personal experiences can be relatable to your work skills. If you can surprise them or stand out somehow, that will go a long way.
I'll give you my two favorite questions I ask people when I interview them.
1) I give the scenario about a computer not being able to get to the internet, but I'm not looking for an answer, I'm evaluating your troubleshooting methodology. There is no solution, I just want you to step through everything you would do to diagnose the problem.
2) "A user asks you to help them forward their company email to their personal Gmail. How do you handle that?" Hint: I'm not looking for a technical solution on this one. I'm looking to see if you will question whether something should be done or not.
Are you the one interviewing me tomorrow? Hope yes :)
Thanks for the tips Bro. Very great knowledge
Helped me a lot. Thanks
Thank you, this video gave me a +ve energy

Nice coaching session. I have technical interview in two hours, a little unprepared. But, I really like the sit down, almost like a friend discussion. THANKS!
Absolutely! I'm happy to help!
I love this vid. Great stuff
I really needed this, I interview in 3 hours and I’m nervous, but I am confident.
Nice coaching session! Thanks a lot
I just had a interview for IT entry level job. I was interview by five people. I was really overwhelm because each of them ask me many very technical questions. I told them I don't even know most of the technical questions. I've learn that I need to continue self disciplining my computer knowledge.
What kind of questions? Do you have any education in IT. I sadly have about 40 more credit hours passed than a bachelors degree from transfering only have associates degree, been leaning how to code the last few months, made a killer website the last week, and feel like there will never be job openings around me in the field for my level unless I go to scholl again, eventhough most programmers are self taught. It's BS

Thank you for your videos sir, entertaining and informative. As a long-time computer enthusiast looking to break into I.T. myself, I am always searching for what I can , or rather should learn, before I return to school and get my A+ or CCNA, probably both would be best though? I'll keep watching, if you keep posting! Thanks again.

I have an interview for an Entry Level position. For the school system. Basically just riding around my county in a company car going to all the schools and fixing computers, printers etc etc. So i don't think it'll be a very hard interview. I'm in school earning a Cyber Security degree so i thought this would somewhat help me gain some type of experience in I.T. Hopefully its not too hard.
Very very helpful video, Thank you so much.
No problem!

I am 40 years old with an analytical mindset and have been it IT for 10 years with the past 2 years as a information security analyst. What do you suggest I do to move ahead in my security career? 1)Try to get a SOC Analyst Position 2) Stay where I'm at to get more experience under my belt? 3)Move into Data Scientist Role?
I do have CISSP and other certs but not the CEH as my current position is mostly creating reports from security appliances and doing reviews.
I got a IT job because of this video. I got asked the question, person called because the computer was not connecting to the internet. I answered is it pc or laptop. And boom I have an IT job starting oct 5 2020. Thanks a million.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I had more of a career question. If you would like to begin an entry level career in IT does obtaining a comptia a+ certificate from a training course adequately prepare a person to break into this career
Great video thank you
You're welcome, thank you!
Have an IT internship interview tomorrow. Thanks for the tips!

You said in 3:49 that you will provide a link for questions that may be asked in the interview.
