      It's a double edged sword. He throws more interceptions he would be considered a bust. Mahomes throws for 10 touchdowns FIRST 2 STARTS and all of a sudden hes just an average QB. Cant please everybody

      He's playing awesome right now but of course you can't anoint anyone after 2 games. By all means give him his props so far just don't be foolish to call this guy elite yet, wait a few years.

      As a Cleveland guy I look at this as a Dorsey win. As for Mahomes, he's incredible to see. I have a soft spot for the big armed QBs, and this guy has 'it'. I bet this isn't a fluke, I bet he's legit. I hope he can become an Aaron Rodgers type in the future. I can see him winning a ring one day.

    • @joelates5334
      @joelates5334 6 лет назад +8

      @Itsreload: No. You do not determine for non-whites what they do or do not consider racist. White supremacy is very real, especially with ALL of these white supremacist terrorists running around that I am sure you are doing nothing about. The only thing that is getting OLD are white people still believing that they can dictate for non-whites what the terms of their experience will be. This is not 2008 anymore. The canard of racial progress has faded into myth. So here in 2018, we-and we alone--control our own narrative.

      Shannon knows football, a ton of quarterbacks have a good/great stretch and then be out if the league 2-3 years afterwards. Time will tell, 2 seasons as a starter is the minimum time to tell if a QBs will be good. Once defenses have 1 year of tape if you have any weaknesses or tendencies they will exploit in year 2.

I'll say he hasnt played a solid defense yet. I like the Chargers but not having Joey Bosa really drops them a tier. The thing that catches my eye is his completion percentage. Not to mention he isnt playing safe and making short passes so that is amazing to see in a young QB. Hope he can keep it coming! We need QBs like this. The best ones are starting to get up there in age.

  • @williebrandon398
    @williebrandon398 6 лет назад +1

    The thing with Mahomes is that he is very accurate and has an extreme fastball. He has lots if weapons who get plenty of YAC, but those numbers wouldn't happen if the ball isn't placed right. The first touchdown throw to Kelce is a great example. If the ball is placed in front of him rather than behind(or to his right) then that ball is intercepted. The touch he showed to Anthony Sherman against the Chargers was masterful. Now I don't want to call him the best ever since it is only a few games, but you have to be crazy to think he doesn't have the makings of something great.

    It's good that he has thrown 10 tds in the first two week actually it's insane. But let's think of the team's he has faced on defense. The chargers and steelers. Both teams pass rush is mediocre and both secondaries are questionable. All I'm saying is he hasn't faced a good team on defense. I'm not gonna say he us legit until he puts up a good game on a good defense that has constant pressure in his face and a secondary that know what they're doing.
