The pick six is definitely Mahomes' fault. The Peters INT occurred because once again the linemen failed to block someone and he was able to hit mahomes as he was throwing. I would put Hill to blame on the last one purely for putting them in horrendous starting position for that final drive. If Hill doesn't make that mistake the entire playcalling would have changed drastically.
They should just cancel the super bowl and make it a 7 game series between these two teams.

I don't know what Skip was watching last night, but that game was an instant classic. All the defensive plays made he pointed out to say why it isn't are all points exactly why it IS an instant classic. Guys made huge plays on both sides of the ball for both teams.
An amazing team effort by the Rams & the Chiefs. Highly entertaining, action-packed every minute of every quarter. 8 lead changes 4 in the 4th Quarter right down to the wire with 13 seconds remaining. In all a total of 14 touchdowns. A combined 1,001 yards totaling 105 points, the most in MNF history and the 3rd highest total in any game. An astounding shootout by Patrick Mahomes 478 passing yards, and Jared Goff, 400 plus yards passing. No, it wasn't the offense, It was Defense killed the Beast. (Quote) King Kong. I picked the Rams but a game like this it didn't matter anymore, I became a fan of both Mahomes & Goff, best of the NFL 2018

In this segment for instance, Shannon used the context around each turnover from Mahomes to prove they weren't as bad as they seemed on paper which is true. Skip completely ignored the context of those turnovers and used those turnovers to discredit the entire production of Mahomes for that game which is either a troll move by skip or he simply lacks critical thinking. Knowing Skip I'd go with the former.

@@thatkid12ful So defensive plays make it not a "classic"? Are the fumbles mistakes by Mahomes, or are they simply great plays made by the greatest defensive player in the league? I mean sure he made a few mistakes that game, rarely will you see a perfect game played by a QB, but if you look at the game from start to finish Kelce probably had the worst game on the offensive side of the ball for KC. He dropped 2-3 easy passes for first downs, missed an assignment block on the goal line that would've given an easy TD to the Chiefs and instead turned into a short FG, and then missed a block on Ebukam that led to a pick at the end of the game.
Against my Saints, Aaron Donald had 1 tackle for a loss. No sacks, no tipped passes. Nothing. At all. ⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜
Saints probably got the best oline this year. Plus, Drew Brees doesn’t take sacks too often

Because he has so many more touchdowns. The difference in touchdowns thrown make the interceptions he's thrown result in fewer net points than what Brees has.

I’m convinced skip has no idea what he’s talking about. All of the turnovers and defensive plays are what made the game so great on top of the offensive play. That’s why it was a classic. It was exciting. I agree with Shannon on this

It just bugs me that there's no defense. I'm all for regulating concussions out of the game. But here's what I've suggested for about six years now. Allow the DB's/LB's to have eight yards instead of five for illegal contact. That way, they're trying to prevent THROWS instead of trying to commit car crashes to break up CATCHES. The game is basically becoming flag football...might as well tweak the rules to give the players on defense a chance to actually play. I'd love to see if Kelce and Gronk and all these massive TE's would do just as well if guys could actually get physical with them longer in a route. But see, this makes too much sense, so of course it'll never happen.

They making Mahomes the issue but maybe 2 of those turnovers was bad decisions and throws but you got to give the rams defense their credit. They made more plays last night than the chiefs. That one pick by the line man was amazing. Aaron Donald came to play too. Jared Goff is a bad boy too. I thought Kansas city did a good job of taking Gurley out the game. Majority of those turnovers were the defense's making plays. Just because it was a lot of scoring doesn't the defense didn't do anything.

Adding the then one sided pentalties, after the pick 6 on Mahomes, Marcus peters gets on top of Mahomes and is choking him right in front of the side judge and got away with it and a clear false start when Goff ran in his TD
Funny watching this today and reading all the positive comments about Goff. During the season this game took place (2018) the rams had a top 5 O line. Last season (2019) the O line ranked 31st and you have shannon sharpe this exact same analyst calling Jared Goff “Horrible” on this show during the 2019 season.. it’s wild to me that people keep refusing to take into account how absolutely poor his blocking was last year and as a pocket QB that a death sentence. I like Goff and think he will bounce back if the Line can stay healthy

While in my opinion Mahomes is the MVP this season so far (basically a rookie starter, those many tds, interceptions are high but most are costless, took his team to 9-2 loosing to arguably the top 2 super bowl contenders by one possession) you just have to give that thing to Drew man. He's talking about the interceptions and fumbles. The first int was a bad throw. second and third were late in the game in desperation. Also the 2 fumbles, that's like a 50/50 partly on mahomes and partly on the o line.

@@camdenjackson1929 50/50? More like 75/25 or 90/10 on the line. Only thing you can blame Mahomes for on those fumbles is that he held the ball low. Cam Erving got beat by the best defensive player (Donald) in the league within 3 seconds of the snap twice and stripped Mahomes from his blind side.
