Sweet, firelap cars are also 98mm!, Another body that seems to look good and works is the euro -truck body from golem 20$ from kenon hobby. Painting and snipping involved
Unfortunately there's no new Mustang body yet, only the old one. Well, they are not much different so you probably can mod it to look like new one though.
After your advice I ordered both of those cars the other day. K969 & k989. I know I asked about Drift cars but I got the rally too 😁It would be nice to have other bodies for them. I would like to paint one. Most of them come pre painted so you would have to remove paint or paint over the top of hard bodies. It would be nice to get clear bodies. Have you ever painted a micro body?
This is just like a scale model but the plastic is thicker so it won't break easily in crashes. You can use either enamel or acrylic to paint it as normal. You don't really have to remove the old paint for this car because it's colored plastic. Just remove the badge before painting that's all. Good luck and have fun with your cars.
The only unpainted Firelap body available right now is Audi R8 LMS. I don't know if they'll sell this one unpainted later. So don't get your hopes up. As for the roof, no there's no hard top for this either. As Overland said, you'll have to either 3D print it or fabricate/sculpt it.
This one I geared it down so I can do full throttle indoor in limited space on dusty surface so it won't exceed 20 KPH. Out of the box this car can do about 30+ KPH.
Not all. From all the 98mm bodies Mustang, Aston Martin DBR9, Ferrari will fit directly. Ford GT won't fit at all, Audi R8 need the shock lowered and Saleen S7 is too narrow + too low. For 102mm there's BMW M3 like in my other video.
Hi. I just got a mini Z overland (2002 hummer i believe) for free from a relative. Its nice and all, but i has many parts missing, and i would rather like to have a drift or racing car(to use those nice bodies, together with a bit of the handling). Can you help me or make a video on how to convert the overland into a road racer or drifter? Thanks
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Overland. However I don't think you can turn it to a touring or drift car because the chassis is far different than other ones. You can find some parts in 3racing www.3racing-parts.com/kyosho-miniz-overland-c-581_593_655.html
@@BeaversHobby is it possible to change it into a rally car? Also, if most things are the same, is it not possible to pit eveeything into a touring car chassis?
@@fredrik5057 This chassis is not the same as other cars. I think the only thing that is the same are wheels, which looks like RWD wheels. Ground clearance is pretty high for Overland so you can drive it as a rally car pretty easily.
@@fredrik5057 No, you can't fit normal Mini-Z body on Overland. The mounting is different. But you can stiffen up the suspension by changing the springs or even upgrade to oil shock.

It does look good! Thanks for the info.
Does they have the new body of mustang? Or you know where to get one? Thanks and keep doing good videos 👍

That interior looked awful anyway.
Yes, it really doesn't look right. I was afraid I have dremel it out but luckily it's just a thin piece of plastic.
Looks ok but the plastic makes it look really cheap and kiddish. but great video Thank You
Is it possible to find an unpainted body for this? And perhaps a roof?

Hello , the R8 can fix in K989??
Yes, it'll fit after you lower the front shock tower like I did here ruclips.net/video/-gCJEXXWBEo/видео.html .
Does thjs have light buckets?
They're not exactly light buckets where you can put 3mm LED in. They are just clear cover that you can put some light behind.
How fast does it go?

Let's make video K969 up body car shell lamboghini 👍🏽
Lower front shock like I did in this video ruclips.net/video/-gCJEXXWBEo/видео.html and Murcielago will fit.
what's better? Wltoys k989 or TRQ1 or something better, but up to 60 $.
For drifting, TRQ1.
For touring (grip), K989.
Ok, thank you.
@@maciekpytka1287 My pleasure.
what is this body at 0:23?
Honda Civic Type R from Mini-Z
I did it here. ruclips.net/video/j2AY9RZCsdY/видео.html
Can this fit in a stock k969?
This is near stock, I only changed the wheels.
@@BeaversHobby thank you
