Also, NT kids have interests all the time and nobody tells them they are “too obsessed” if they talk about it all the time. Hyperfixations and special interests are different in intensity, but that doesn’t mean it’s obsession. Obsession is inherently bad and destructive to the person in some way.

OKAY. So, in Africa and the Middle East, armor wasn't as sophisticated as it was in Europe, so what ended up happening is that instead of designed weapons that were big, lumbering, intended to crush rather than slice, they made quick, curved blades.

And the thing is, some of these blades are SO cool. Things like the Shamshir, Khopesh, Shotel, the more well known ones, do get featured in games and media sometimes, but its always only them.

I finally talked to my mom about getting a new Covid shot. I was so anxious because I was so worried she was going to get mad at me. BUT, it went really well! I told her that I would like to get a new shot to make sure I’m protected with Covid and making sure I’m doing the best of my ability to protect others. She told me that I would build up immunity because I am able-bodied but I explained to her that it would be the best to get a shot because Covid has so many strains that it would be extremely hard to build but strains to all of them. I also explained how some people (disabled people) could not build up strains that I wanted to make sure were safe too. She agreed and hopefully I’m getting the Covid shot in fall. I also got to explain long Covid to her and I think she taking the virus more seriously now!

Here is my plan:
1. Get a bodysuit with long sleeves and legs, only the hands are cut out, feet are still attached like tights- if i need to make myself warmer i will use socks of the same color
2. work on making the vest/jacket, it's not going to be extremely accurate and i will likely elevate the design, I Don't know how to make clothes but I'll figure something out.
3. Get wig, cut and style and then make his crown
4. Acquire white rain boots or already yellow rain boots- paint until colors look yummy, maybe add platforms? We'll see-
5. Make cape and acquire white gloves, dye the gloves.
6. Belt- probably just a ribbon tied around my waist lol
7. DETAILS + getting brown contacts and learning makeup [realistic dream would probably look nice with brown eyes so I'm going for that]
This is what I currently have in mind right now, it's probably not complete but it's an idea so far
I just realized that to someone out there, *i* am one of the little people in their phone and that makes me happy (little people as in small enough to live inside a phone, not little people as in people with dwarfism)

This meal is so safe and nice and I can finally eat something with actual nutrients without suffering...suddenly this meal is the most vile thing on the planet get it away from me I can't eat even one bite or I'll puke. New favorite movie and by extension a new hyperfixation yippee! It’s Heathers, I’m watching the musical as well soon, listened to a lot of the songs and they’re really good! Very catchy.
The movie was wild but I loved it so much for some reason, even though it’s unlike most other things I’ve fixated on. (Almost) Nobody in it is a good person and they all do or say messed up things and it’s just so good for some reason lol, so much dialogue kinda comes out of left field. Well, if you know how to disassemble it and get a look at the internals, you can make a more educated guess on what the issue is. There are tutorials on it, depending on the kind of phone you have.

Oof, the food hyper fixation one really hit me as I usually eat my dinner while watching these compilations 😂 its currently a premade mac and cheese mixed with a shitload of broccoli which I have to split in half as I add too much broccoli. But it's good that for once my hyperfixation is somewhat healthy and cheap! At uni my longest lasting ones were noodles and later on specifically dominos pizza, which was way too expensive even with my huge student discount so I limited myself to once a week. Now I live right next to a dominos but haven't had one in months as it's too much effort (even though its like a minute to walk there) and even more expensive.
I had a dominos phase too! I was incredibly depressed for months and it would take me days to get myself out of the apartment in time to go somewhere. I think I went to the grocery store once and it was harrowing. After that I would just go to dominos once every two weeks, buy a bunch of pizzas and a sandwich, and then leave it all in a pile on my floor and eat it until the next visit. They were only $8/pizza in my area so it was not cheap but it was probably the cheapest option of its kind so I'm grateful that that's what I landed on. I also have no idea how they didn't mold over or anything, but I would have just starved if they hadn't been an option (even with them, I lost wuite a bit of weight as I wouldn't immeidately have the mental strength to go buy more when I ran out) so I'm forever grateful that those pizzas existed when I needed them.

I’m gonna assume you all know how STRESSFUL and ANNOYING it is to constantly have to explain to your friend how passionate a special interest is, to which they continue to downplay it and tell me that I’m “being selfish by turning the conversation to my interests all the time”. It pisses me off and hurts my feelings, since I genuinely can’t help but talk about Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Type O Negative all the time. My friend is literally conditioning me to mask even more, and it’s becoming so extremely difficult for me to keep up. I just wish I had better friends. I only really like hanging out with Leftists and Neurodivergent people when I think about it, especially since there’s common ground when I speak to them. And people with my shared special interests too.
If all you talk about is one thing, I wouldn't blame him for getting annoying with you. I would get annoying with you. Anyone would. It isn't about you getting better friends. They are completely within their rights to think thats annoying. Because it is.

@@_kandi_enthuziazt Do you not know what a flail is? Basically, a flail is a metal (usually spiked) ball attack via a chain to a stick of some kind, or a handle of some kind. You then swing this around to hurt people.

ok so. co worker A approached coworker B and asked if she would get in trouble for having a chip and dale calender.
B thought she was talking about the cartoon characters.
A laughs and says "you're so young for thinking that" and explains she's talking about the stippers. B laughs awkwardly and explains she doesn't go to those kinds of shows,
A says she's missing out and implies it's something she SHIULD be doing.
i talked to my supervisor about this. he's going to talk to her, and escalate to hr if needed.

if you think someone (who's young enough to be your child) is too young to know stripper names. why would you feel comfortable pushing them to go to a show????
