When you don't feel any of that, your perspective of relationships is apparently super different from allosexual people. And because you don't see it the same some of them just believe you're lying to be different or you're so traumatized. (which isn't a bad thing, but it's not always everyone's experience as to why they're aro/ace.)

I find it so weird when some people I know are like “it’s so hard to have conversations with some people and I’m constantly worried about saying the wrong thing and offending people” like maybe it’s just me but I find it incredibly easy to not say bigoted things, most of the time it doesn’t even occur to me to say stuff I know will upset ppl. I get that some people are much better in social situations (believe me I’m awful at having conversations) but like worst case scenario you say something rooted in bigotry and someone helps you learn to do better. Then people double down and act like they’d being attacked?? Idk it’s just a weird thing that I have observed in these interesting creatures known as humans
and in some situations when its not bigots, its the people theyre around. if youre always afraid to say how you feel or what you think around this group of people....go away? get them out of your life? dont surround yourself with shitty people. and i dont mean minors around family, i mean people who are free to leave groups of people and not interact.
It might depend a bit on what their past a current social situation is. When I was younger I lived in an incredibly liberal place, and because people were surrounded only by those ideas, even asking a genuine question was often taken as an attack, so they would respond with one. I remember once trying to avoid a topic multiple times (was in class art class so we were talking freely but I couldn't just leave) and being repeatedly told to speak. I hadn't made a decision about the topic being discussed, so I asked a question about the person's position to better understand. They answered a different question I hadn't asked. I repeated my question. They literally screamed at me in the middle of a classroom, claiming I was a republican trying to do xyz. I was just undecided and after being forced into a conversation, chose to try to understand their point of view. There were plenty of other times that I'm sure I didn't say things right, but that particular time comes to mind because I was trying SO HARD to not upset anyone, I didn't have an opinion at all, and I still ended up being treated pretty roughly. I have autism, but I was so careful and only asked a question, so it's hard to believe that it was due to some massive social faux pas.
I also remember a time when I genuinely could not remember what the current polite term for the mentally disabled was (ironically before I knew I would be considered part of the group) and used the most recent polite term I could remember. I wasn't using a slur or anything, I knew that much, but I was using 1-2 words prior to the currently acceptable word and I was told off for it pretty aggressively instead of just told what the correct word was. Because my area was so liberal there was a big focus on language and the words for things were always changing, which made it genuinely difficult to keep up. Many people were not understanding of this because they were highly invested in these words and often involved in the choosing of new ones. Sometimes I just couldn't keep up even when I was trying to, because nobody kept a list updated for me to review or something, they just expected behavior to change instantly with no notice.
I could see someone who was been in this kind of situation really struggling socially because they're used to being surrounded by landmines. I really struggle to make friends even though I no longer live in that area. I'm sure part of it is the autism, sometimes I talk too long or struggle to respond appropriately. Still, I don't think that's everything. Growing up in that environment led me to think about social situations like game dialogue, where my goal is to find and select the "correct" dialogue option and I'll receive a penalty if I don't, with severity depending on how bad the option I chose was. When I realize I picked the wrong option I really feel the sting, even if the other person doesn't react strongly like the people from my hometown did. If I was still in that environment I'd definitely still feel like I was heavily filtering myself to avoid upsetting people. I mean once someone got mad at me for asking what he was giving a gift basket for after he out of nowhere said "I'm buying this for my neighbor". If that's a one off you can go "wow, what a weirdo", but if it happens every day not matter how hard you try or how much you actually agree with the people you're talking to, it really, really shapes you.

when we were doingthe dishes we had to take a small break because the sheer stench of the rotting leftovers in the bowls made the sinks smell like actual vomit and burned the back of our throat like stomach acid. either we threw up a bit or it was the smell either way it was awful and im so glad we did the dishes so future us doesnt have to experience that Stench again - 🍭
Best money saving hack I know: Get store brand stuff instead of name brand. It'll save you a few cents, which adds up a lot and store brands usually (not all the time, be careful) aren't on boycott lists!
Yes to this! And as a bonus for my crunchy people, the store's organic brand is usually STILL cheaper than name brand! I usually go store brand but stuff I haven't eaten since childhood I sometimes forget even has/can not have a brand. Double checking for an unbranded option almost always saves me money. Also, even though larger containers are usually cheaper, this is not true for specific products so I recommend comparing their by weight price (the one in the grey box, usually on the left side of the price label). That way you don't have to do the math yourself but can avoid bad deals. I noticed it first years ago with Cheeze Its, which are more expensive if you buy the family pack compared to the smaller box. Usually a sale on the more expensive version of an item won't bring it down to the price of the cheaper version (size, brand, etc) so if those pennies are important to you, divide the sale price by the number of ounces (usually on the bottom left of the package) and compare that number to the unit price of the other option. Stay safe out there!

@@sshhrimpp6375 great question! when an alter is new to a system, they mght not know much about themselves. this could be because they aren't fully developed or because it's simply not a priority to know immediately (or sometimes at all). Arke (the new alter) now knows that they are 15-20 but they dont knw the exact age yet.

For anyone who sees this and is interested in what a touchdown is, it is when a player takes the football into the other teams end zone, the end zone being the zone that the other team is trying to defend (if you play games like TF2 or overwatch that have a "defend the payload" game mode you get what I mean). When you score a touchdown it scores six points, but you have a choice afterwards to either make a kick into the goal (the big yellow fork thing) for one point or go for a touchback, where you have to reach the end zone again from the same spot you ran from the last time, for two points. Touchbacks are rarely done as the risk of failing the touchback is not worth the one point more you would get compared to kicking the ball, which is much easier to do and rarely ever misses.

Which isn’t quite as big a problem for trans men. So ironic that someone would bring up something that is so obviously due to the actions of them and people like them as if it supports their point.
Also, there are plenty of trans men in men’s sports! The reason you’re not hearing about them is because your perspective of the trans experience is centered primarily around our struggles, our fights to exist and take up space. If that’s your only view of us, it’s telling.

you should feel not good about it in the way that its not good for you and you dont like it. youre not bad or evil for it, but dont think its a good coping mechanism because its NOT and ruins nerves and causes severe skin damage. if you mean scabs it doesnt matter you just have to wait for them to heal (bandaids/bandages and neosporin, change every 8 hours and alternate neosporin none none neosporin none none) and then find scar fading patches or use foundation/concealer once completely healed. hope this helps. love you so much. please dont get addicted to this, its not good for you.
