We bet that helps with conservation. Nice you got to go diving. That's awesome it's a Duty Free location. If we went there, we definitely would want to avoid Monsoon season though!! That was a great video of Pulau Tioman, it looks very interesting and beautiful. I love their blue seas, it looks absolutely amazing. It's also not very expensive. Lucky I saw this been checking around about tioman wanted. To go there on October 10 but most people says it’s monsoon already around that time but after watching this I think no 1 can stop me to go there already ahahaha
Stunning place, stayed a week at the Berjaya back in 2008. Going back next Easter with the kids, hope the Berjaya will be re-opened after fire damage. Grest video!
This is a great video about a great place. One thing I would disagree with though is that I think 2 nights is not enough here. Absolute minimum of 3 nights needed in my opinion. Spent a week here in 2008 and can't wait to get back with the kids whenever the Berjaya Tioman is rebuilt.
You're absolutely right, Tioman requires more time to explore. We ourselves had been there at least 3 times and still haven't discovered all of Tioman yet.
Pretty much depends on what kind beach or resort you'd prefer. For us, ABC Beach is very chilled and not too far from Tekek where we can get to the Duty-Free shop. But the half of the beach in ABC is mostly rocky and lots of corals. Perfect for snorkelling or diving. Juara Beach is probably the most secluded apart from private beaches at luxury resorts like Tunamaya. Kampung Tekek is definitely the busiest of all the other kampungs.

Yes, they will announce the name of the jetty when they make a stop. Although sometimes it can be a little loud inside the ferry, you may ask them to make sure

Lot's of changes can seen. I've been to this island in 1999 when I was 15 years of age with my family. During that time a can of coke cost RM4.

39年前に行った時は、小型のボートに数人しか乗れず、みんな船酔いして、しかも長時間かかったから、超大変だった。島内にも目立った施設も少なく、まさにカンポンだった。今はちゃんとした観光地なのでビックリした。

can you bring over your private car from the mainland to Tioman?
There aren't any ferries available to carry cars to Tioman. Not sure how would locals arrange for this.
