Tioman Island..Now that's place I haven;t been for the last 10 years.....Yes , Berjaya is the most luxurious among all the resort but my usual go-to would be Salang & ABC ...Seems like the ferry services have already taken a notch-up... Massive improvement based on my observation.... compared to the last time I was there..... Thanks again for putting up the hardwork... ( Yes, the trials and tribulations of being a content creator ) ... Keep grinding... Take care on the road and stay safe.... Cheers mates!!
Hey JT! It would have been good to visit more parts of the island like Salang and ABC to compare. We were looking at going to Juara beach on the other side of the island but didn't get round to it. Thanks for watching!
Whenever i meet foreign tourists after this, i tell them to watch your vlogs of your extensive travels in Peninsular Malaysia. They will get much clearer and more interesting info of where to visit and what to do there. TQVM for making very nice and extensive vlogs that are really beneficial to promote Malaysia beautiful nature to tourists worldwide.
Awww, thank you so much for your support SahifulTajuddin! That is so nice of you to do that. We love Malaysia dearly, it is a wonderful country with wonderful people like yourself! -Jon🙏🙏
Hi Connie, so glad to hear that you are finding our videos helpful! Malaysia is an awesome country and we were determined on this trip to discover parts of the country that aren't as commonly visited but are just as wonderful!
Thank you guys for suggesting and promoting this Island. Most Aussies have no idea about places or islands in Malaysia to visit. If ask Aussie, most have been in Phuket Thailand , Bali. Where there are heaps of beautiful islands in Malaysia like Penang, Langkawi, Pangkor, Tioman , Perhentian Island and many more
Wow really nice 🤩Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 next time you may visit to other island such as Pulau rendang,Pulau perhentian ,Pulau Rawa .Langkawi also not bad ✌🏻
Thank you!! Yes we did visit Redang and Perhentian as well on this trip. You can check out our experiences here: ruclips.net/video/lhPFhDW7RRA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/nLwTeg_4j4g/видео.html
Ok I've just posted your Redang vlog and now you have been to Tioman Island as well. I have also been there as well. Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines have some of the best and most stunning tropical paradise islands
Hi Brother SMan, thanks for watching! We have been to Perhentian islands as well and our video on this is our next video to share. You re right, South East Asia have the most amazing tropical islands. I'm surprised that the Malaysian islands aren't more popular, they are stunning!
Ferry tickets get sold out during the peak season, online booking is recommended. Looks like you're at the end of the season. There's much more to do out of Berjaya resort. Diving and snorkeling is by far better than Perhentian and Redang. Biking along the coast to ABC through villages is also a highlight.
Hi Maureen, yes we had read that about the Ferryies getting sold out and did exactly what you recommended. Yes, we agree as well that there is a lot to do outside of the resort and regret not doing more. The biking idea sounds exactly what we would have loved to do. Thanks for watching.
@@BucketListTravellers we have timeshare at Berjaya, but always choose to stay within Tekek village for better, cheaper food choices, market, duty-free alcohol shops, and the beach is just as good.
Oh u guys really went to Mersing n Pulau Tioman, bagus 👍 Tioman island is underrated it got many corals n fish, beautiful spots for snorkeling n scuba diving..My favorite place in Tioman is Sanglang beach where there are coral reefs right in front of the beach, no need to book a boat to go snorkeling or scuba diving
Hi Ace, we completely agree with you! It was a great experience and yes we should have mentioned that you can snorkel straight onto the reef in some areas. Thanks for watching!
If next time you go Tioman island stay Cheers chalet. I stay there for more then 20 trip ++. Clean and green + CCTV camera. Best month to go is end March - end October for divers
Loved this video and joined as a sub - how was the experience going on the stopping bus between Kluang and Mersing? Its an old straight road that goes from the west to the east.
Hi @rembautimes8808, welcome to our channel!!🤗 Our experience with the bus between Kluang and Mersing was good. Whilst the bus was old, had poor suspension and had no air con, it was reminiscent of our bus rides through Nicaragua, which we loved. We don't need much more than windows and good airflow. It was also very cost effective!
actually ,pulau tioman is a little bit so called outdated hahah. it was developed before pulau redang and semporna。 there are more resort and hotel in tioman compare to redang, perhentian , lang tengah and other island in east side of peninsular malaysia.and it is the most crowded island among them all. but maybe it is too old for internet hahha
Hi @limxiaoqing97061, it is interesting you mention that Pulau Tioman is a little outdated because that was the vibe that we got as well. The resort we were staying at had definitely needed a bit of a touch up. Thanks for watching!
😂😂 Yes, we were travelling like Grandma on this trip to Tioman! We needed an easy resort stay to recharge the batteries. We were a bit more active throughout the rest of our Malaysia trip and videos.
Ooooh controversial question! We didn't see too much of Tioman island and just stuck to the resort, so not sure we gave it a fair go. We liked the accommodation the best at Redang island, but the convenience of snorkelling off the beach best at Perhentian.
We were aware that there was liqour available on the island and we think that Tioman is duty free as well. We don't drink alcohol regularly and didn't have any on the island, so sorry we can't confirm for you.
Yes we did see this when we researched it. We were surprised though to see that there weren't many vlogs about it. It appears that Perhentian island is much more popular with foreign tourists.
I wish they just spend some money and refurbish their rooms a bit. This doesn't look appealing at all even though it is good value. Having to deal with noise, cracks in wall and not always having hot water on holiday 😢😢😢
Hi @catinthemoonlight, we agree with you. The accommodation was what we enjoyed the least of our stay at Tuna bay resort. It was ok, but when you have also stayed at Laguna resort in Redang for a similar price, you notice the difference in quality!

Very nice indeed ❤👍
Thanks for watching!
Sorry sometimes we forgot.. lol.. another island we always forgot to mention is perhentian island..
interesting video - cheers from poland
Thanks for watching Aga and Wrzos!
I think we can also travel there by plane from Subang Airport. Can check with Berjaya.

There is a direct flight to Tioman from KL's Subang Airport operated by SKS Airways
Thanks for letting us know. We saw that there were flights pre covid, but couldn't confirm whether they were running again.

😂😂 Yes, we were travelling like Grandma on this trip to Tioman! We needed an easy resort stay to recharge the batteries. We were a bit more active throughout the rest of our Malaysia trip and videos.
perhentian island also good to try..
Yes, and Perhentian island is coming up soon!
Some beaches(must be the empty ones) have beach sand flies, just becareful bring insect repellants
We realised why quickly why we were the only ones on the beach!
There is flight between subang to tioman via sks Airways.
Oh really? We saw that there was an airport on the island, but weren't sure whether flights were still operating.
You guys have to buy wireless microphones. The wind muffed the sound.
You're right! We were using our go pro when filming the windy bit. We do have a wireless microphone, but only for our phone and not the go pro.
Nice breakfast
The selection was really good and we enjoyed it a lot!

@@nutzhazel That sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to explore the island.
Ahh you made it to tioman
Glad we got there!
As australians, what do you think about surfing there?
From what we saw at Berjaya resort, the waves weren't big enough to ride on.
Berjaya is a luxury resort
Yes, it was pretty fancy!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Question : is tioman a tax free island, is liqour expensive there?
We were aware that there was liqour available on the island and we think that Tioman is duty free as well. We don't drink alcohol regularly and didn't have any on the island, so sorry we can't confirm for you.
There are reef sharks as well.
That would have been cool to see!
@@BucketListTravellers a vlogger recently showed it. Not far from the beach at juara. Mitchell brennan channel.
tioman used to be the top10 island in the world.....

Juara beach is the best
Yes, we had looked at Juara beach and that looked really nice. We decied on Berjaya because it meant less hassle being closer to the port.
I see you've met the local mafia (the rhesus monkeys)
