Being underrated country is not a problem to us. The most important thing is everyone is happy. We also welcome the tourists that come here to look for the nature.

The Perhentian Islands are definitely the most beautiful I've ever been to and that includes Thailand, the Philippines (including Palawan), other beaches/islands in Malaysia and Hawaii. I stayed for over a week and it was one of the best and most memorable times of my life, a true paradise. I still think of the place fondly 💕
Have you been to Redang? The area we went to was fiercely conservationist. You could not see the accommodation from the sea entrance and if anyone damaged the coral you were asked to leave the Island immediately. No pubs or take away or even roads. Just a small hotel which had everything we needed. We could snorkel all around the coast seeing sharks and the most amazing coral. It made the red sea look like the River Mersey. Was it as pretty as some Thai Islands? Maybe/Maybe not, but it was far more peaceful and natural and unspoilt!

Hi Ken really this is the best island in Asia 😅 good job man.,like it
i hve been here 14 times... since 1992. Never get bored
generally, malaysia is a good destination for western tourists who want tranquillity, peace of mind, rejuvenate and recuperate. away from the hustle and bustle and feels similar to home.
The colour of that water is a literal 10/10, cannot be topped. Also, you're doing a bloody good job communicating with the locals. I'm recently back from 4 months in SEA; as a Brit I have it easy but find it so impressive how well you manage - learning basic Malay via English (a second language for you).
Malay language is very easy 😁
Malay is very easy to learn, three months is enough to become fully fluent. The water is OK but not as clear as many other places when SCUBA diving.
Nice video... simple and very in the point..
i enjoyed the video..
now am think about go to Malaysia
Thanks for shared it
You should try to go Mabul island in Sabah. We call Maldives Malaysia
I just come back from Sabah. You should try staying at Maglami Water Resort. The best experience I have ever had 😍
Thank you ken, without your video I will never know these islands exist. I visited Malaysia and lankawei twice. Water is not clear in Lankawei. I visited almost all Caribbean island, greek islands, mauritius, laksadweep, Maldives, and few more islands here and there. In my opinion 1. Maldives ( Fulidhoo) 2. Antigua 3. Cayman Islands..and Mauritius…
I will try to go this Parenthian island near future…
beaches in Terengganu are all like this generally. but if you do come, avoid the monsoon months (oct - feb) as the islands will be closed.
@@Ruriko.Y OMG… its a big help… Thank you so much for the info. I was planning to come in February…
@@chithilekho359so many clean beaches in Malaysia. I am Malaysian. And i say, Penang is overrated. You need to dig deeper. There are a lot of good places or beaches in Malaysia.
@@nashk935 Thank You
