    I stayed at the beautiful Senja Bay on Coral Beach, which was the perfect spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun. But of course, I couldn't resist exploring the rest of the island. I headed over to backpacker haven Long Beach, where the energy was contagious. There were so many fun activities to do, like beach volleyball and paddleboarding but of course I headed straight for the food.
    One of the highlights of my trip was going on a snorkeling tour. The crystal-clear water was teeming with colorful fish and coral, and I even got to see a sea turtle up close! It was truly a magical experience. After all that swimming, I worked up quite the appetite. I headed over to the Fishermen's Village for lunch by taking a walk through the jungle that connects all the beaches through a series of paths, and let me tell you, the seafood was so tender. I also visited the Floating Mosque, which was simply breathtaking. The architecture was stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the island.
    Overall, my trip to the Perhentian Islands was unforgettable. The natural beauty and warm hospitality of the locals made it a trip I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back and explore even more of this amazing destination! Next time I'm heading to Redang!

      So I use the Sony ZV1 mark 2. But I also shoot so much with my iPhone 13 and my editor loves the footage. If you’re looking to create RUclips videos I highly recommend the iPhone first. It will make things so much easier because you are familiar with how a phone works and the 15 shoots 4K 60fps. At some point if you’re making regular videos you could switch to a camera I like the Sony zv1 because it’s small and less intimidating taking to locals but honestly so many amazing RUclipsrs just use their phone and on screen it looks fabulous.

    Just loved the vibe of these places! And your red swimsuit was cute - how many suits do you like to bring when you’re heading to beach trips? Also, interested in how you secure your passports, credit cards, etc, when you’re out for the day and have a little cabin like that? Collecting all the info on Malaysia, def on my short list! ❤

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  9 месяцев назад +3

      I travel carry on only and have one suit which is reversible, the other side is navy blue. I have a pair of jean shorts, black gym shirts, two tank tops, four dresses and pyjamas. It’s actually easier for me to travel with fewer clothes because there are less decisions to make and if I need something new I just pick it up on the road as clothing is inexpensive. As for passport, I don’t think anyone steals them anymore. With them being chipped it now it would be caught at the border. For ID outside I show a photo of my passport. This cabin has a locked door so I leave what I need inside and use travel insurance. Because I make videos I do have a lot of valuables but you can’t worry about theft so insurance is the way to go. If you have apartment or house insurance it also covers your belongings when you travel or just make sure your travel insurance covers both health and theft.

      @ayngelina  9 месяцев назад +1

      I’ve been traveling non stop (except 2020-2021) since 2010 and so I’m happy to answer any questions. I use an Osprey 45L which fits everything and a small Fanny pack for my camera gear when I’m out shooting. I got the swimsuit at Marshall’s and wish I had picked up a second one because reversible is the way to go.

    New Perhentians is ranked 2/10 to old perhentians. There were only about 10 beach chalets in Long Beach. There were no 2 stinky seaweed on the two sides and just a few boats. There was very nice coral near the Jetty even there was a moray eels. Now Long Beach is horribly destroyed by too many speed boats . Murky sea bed , boiling water in the jetty area, dead coral, no more fish. And the other side of the island another Mariot resort is being built. Thats overwhelming. Teluk keke beach will soon be occupied by a resort. Talk to islanders to feel their disappointment to witness how concretize this beautiful gem has become

    • @ayngelina
      @ayngelina  6 месяцев назад +2

      That is really sad to hear. I liked Coral Bay because it felt uncrowded and it was why we didn't go back to Long Beach at night as we weren't looking for a party. It did inspire me to see more of this coast though, if you have recommendations for other islands, areas I would love to hear them as I prefer more undeveloped areas that are keeping things sustainable.
