Langkawi is an amazing tropical island destination. I was lucky to have went there for 1 week in Jan 2017. There are quite a few things to do there in and around the island.
Each and every place is mesimericing, marvelous videos, clear cut explanation No words to say, just amazing. I have planned to visit Langkawi next year
Thank you for sharing...nice informative video indeed... Langkawi may not be as popular compared to other tourist destinations..do u think the lesser known ' island of the Eagles ' is worth visiting??🎉
Hello, thank you for watching! Yes, I definitely think it's worth a visit. It's a great place to relax, but there's also some wonderful nature and attractions in the area too!
Nice video. Are 2 days enough to cover the spots you showed in this video along with water activities? Do they accept credit cards in langkawi, if not, what should be the ideal Ringgit currency to carry here for 4pax? Thanks
Thanks! We're glad you found it useful. You can visit a lot of the sites we listed in the video in 2 days, though you really need around 4 days to see them all. For 2 days, we recommend seeing the Langkawi Cable Car and waterfall one morning. You could then do an afternoon half day island tour. The second day could be allocated to Kilim Geoforest Park and Tanjung Rhu Beach. Most places accept credit card but you might need a little bit of local currency for market stalls and small shops. You can book a lot of activities online or on the day.
Heard about jellfish stinging issue on beaches. Did you heard about it from locals or any related experience. Is it safe to travel in June from Jellyfish risk perspective
Hi there, thanks for your comment. Are you looking to do a boat tour to the islands, or would you prefer a jet ski tour? We did a jet ski tour to the islands (a 4 hour tour) and it's definitely a great way of seeing the islands. In terms of hiring a taxi, we used Grab taxi. You just need to download the app.
Hello, we spent 7 days in Langkawi, as we were travelling around Malaysia at a slow pace whilst working. However, you don't need that much time to see everything we did in the video. 4-5 days is a great amount of time for Langkawi. Susie
Hi! If you're looking to see just the main attractions, we recommend 3 - 4 days maximum. However, if you're looking to relax as well on the beach, we suggest 5 days in Langkawi.
Hi 😊 We always tend to book attractions in advance, especially popular tourist attractions. We recommend doing so, as you tend to get better deals and discounts if you book in advance. Susie
Prices vary depending on the tour provider. We did the 4-hour jet ski tour. You can check out the link here: www.getyourguide.com/langkawi-l903/4-hour-jet-ski-tour-dayang-bunting-8-islands-langkawi-t24907?ranking_uuid=7af068f2-7401-4de7-b909-1d0b53601e65&date_from=2024-08-10&_pc=1,1
Hello! Thanks for stopping by and watching our video. Unfortunately yes, there are jellyfish in Langkawi. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may see more or less of them. You can still enjoy the beaches in Langkawi, and perhaps still go in the water - but just keep an eye out on the jellyfish that come to the shore 😊
@@balpreetkaur9951 May/June is the very end of Langkawi jellyfish season so there's a chance you'll find them on the beaches, but only near the shore. However, you may not find any at all on some beaches. We recommend using water shoes on beach days.
Hello. October is actually rainy season in Langkawi and is one of the highest rainfall months. If you're planning on lazing around the beach, I'd suggest visiting another month outside of rainy season.

It's a great place indeed. We love it as it's not as touristy as some places in Thailand and Bali, but is equally, if not more stunning.
@@ToucanTravellers I actually prefer it to Bali and Phuket but Krabi is amazing though
Glad I came across this video I’m going to Langwaki next month. This is so helpful. Thank you so much ☺️

Thanks for the lovely video. Are there any restrictions around usage of drone in the area? Do you need some permissions?
Hi there, thanks for watching. We didn't encounter any issues with the drone, but it's recommended to check online for any restrictions ☺️
what month did you travel here as the weather looks absolutely perfect?
We were in Langkawi at the end of January/ early February. They're the best months to visit we think. Not too humid 😊
