It's a duty free island, but I only notice few items r cheaper than d mainland like cigs, liquor n choc.
@@Yasin_Affandi I think when you are traveling from abroad and paying $6000 for 8 nights the prices on Langkawi are reasonable Duty free or not given the overall spend on flights and accommodation, of course I am speaking from a purely mature couples vacation perspective and not a budget conscious travellers or YT bloggers perspective.
This has to be by far THE BEST Langkawi video I've ever seen. I can't thank you enough for bringing so much happy memories! Cant wait to visit Malaysia again! You guys are awesome & cant wait for your next adventure.

I recently went to the Langkawi cable car and Oriental Village on my trip in June period of 2022 and I can say that when I visited, I can say that the queue difference was enormous, my queue took a max of 2-3 minutes and it was fun to see the 3-d museum and it was epic! There was also a 3-d show about wildlife so I would recommend making a half-day trip there!
My parents also booked out the whole sunset cruise and I and my friends have a blast with the musician with the guitar asking for songs for him to play! I also had WAY TOO MANY of those non-alcoholic drinks that they made. It was AMAZING to sit on those nets in front of the boat and watch the sunset. The salt-water bath was pretty dope as it felt like the boat was dragging me.
I would recommend Dash resort as the staff was amazing and the activities were endless. I went on the Kayaking adventure to those islands surrounding the resorts and I was skeptical at the first but in the end, we would have races to see who would reach the next islands. The food was really good ad the service was speedy as we were in a 14-16 people group yet they delivered in time and their pools were really fun. Amazing guide though!

Very interesting and useful updated info, I've visited Langkawi almost every year till 2018 and plan to revisit again this 2023. Pak Malau was just a humble stall previously, and mangrove tour on private boat is RM250 for 4hrs a bit extra ride out to open sea and visit Gua Cherita and its private beach. You should visit Gunung Raya next time for the Sun set view.
