Hope that one day I'll be able to stay at one of the luxurious hotels like St Regis, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons or the other 5 stars hotel. So far, out of my 3 trips to Langkawi, I've only stayed once at a 4 stars hotel, Awana Porto Malai, quite beautiful with the lovely boardwalk.

I've neither travelled nor stayed at any 5 stars or luxurious hotels lately. The last time was in India, good hotels, good price, good service. My best stay was at the Oberoi Wildflower Hall in Mashorba near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh during winter. I also like my stay in Leela Kovalam in Kerala. I've stayed at few other luxurious hotels on official capacity and some of my favorites were the Taj Palace in Mumbai and Leela Kempinski Palace in Bengaluru. 😀
It tend to have a bit more rains in May/June, but it really varies year to year. This year I feel the weather is hotter than normal across many South East Asian destinations
