Hello We are off to Langkawi in a few weeks & have watched videos on Langkawi and I have to say your video is by far the best I’ve watched. Congratulations on a great video
Hi Stephen! What a great compliment. It’s what we hope to establish at every destination 😁👍🏻 so I really appreciate your support. Welcome and cheers from the family!
I do remember this breakfast really well. Thanks for the lovely comment. Have you visited more countries in Southeast Asia? What’s your favourite? Hope you subscribe and check out some of our 300 destinations in videos all over the globe. Cheers from the family ❤️
Amazing video mate ! Brings back so many memories..! Visited that beautiful island in 2013. I also highly recommend visiting the Crocodile Farm on the island. Cheers from Amasya, Turkey ! ☺☺
Hi! Thanks for the compliment. I think a week would be best to explore some beaches, the National Park and some nice hotels around the island. Are you planning to go? Hope you subscribe and join us in one of the other 300+ destinations and videos. We are still travelling with a new one every week! Cheers from the family ❤️
Thanks for the wonderful and informative videos. Dank u😊 If I have only 3 nights ( in December) n have to choose between Langkawi and Penang, which one should it be. I love food n culture, but also beaches n relaxation. Finding it difficult to decide. Thanks in advance
Hi Sandeep, Pennang is great for exploring food and culture, but it doesn’t have the nice tropical beaches we found on Langkawi. Langkawi isn’t too big, so if you can arrange for a car or a taxi driver, I would choose Langkawi!
Hi thanks for sharing the video, this is so amazing. 2 questions please 1. Can we visit here in last week of September, would monsoon be an issue 2. Please please tell me hotel names you booked in Lankavi and KL, the family beds were so amazing 😊😊
Rented a similar boat on a small lake recently in central Oregon USA for four hours - cost just under $500 with all the fees. Basic hamburger/fries lunch for a family of 4 was $115 more. Looking to retire overseas someday.
Nice Video! Can you tell how old was your kid when you travelled Malaysia? I have a 2 yr old. Wanted to understand how comfortable it will be to travel Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi?
According to it, the term Langkawi is a combination of two words Lang and Kawi. Where 'Lang' is a corrupt form of Malay word 'helang' which means eagle, 'Kawi' means marble. Since both eagles and marble are found in abundance in Langkawi, probably the place was named after the fact.
The eagle is called 'helang' or 'lang' (in short) in Malay language. Meanwhile, kawi is referred to red stone. Thus, Langkawi means red stone eagle as you can see their neck and wings are red color.
Keep yourself backside of your camera at time of narration and focus your camera on the objects/landscapes, etc.of your subject ofvnarration. This keep your valid viewers to avoid boring.
Did you like this video? The English version of this one is online also. The videos are appreciated world wide 😃👌🏻 i’m sorry if you feel anything is boring, but they certainly are not at all 😁
Hi David, we had sea view, not actually on the water but at the shore. Thanks for the compliment! Have you checked out our other Malaysia videos? We are currently in Africa, after more Asia and Australia!
Hi Biplob, we use a Sony A7iii mostly. And GoPro + drone of course 😁🤙🏻 do you make videos too? We have a new episode every week, English versions on sundays. Cheers 👍🏻
Haha I listened what you must have heard. Honestly, I never heard about Geoforce. It must sound similar, but I even repeat the word forest in the same sentence. 😂 could be the accent because we’re Dutch! Thanks for the compliments. This was a super fun trip to film 😁🤙🏻 happy travels!
Hi Bec, during our travels we have submitted many forms for the drone. Unfortunately a lot of them take too long and we even experienced that the response came long after we visited. It’s really annoying that the countries want to have control over this but have insufficient tools 😅 have you ever obtained this permit?
Haha that’s a very general question. The trip in total? We have no idea, because it’s part of a route through Malaysia and that was part of a years long trip around the world. Food and hotels aren’t too expensive I guess. Trips and car are very affordable and plenty available. Have you been here also? It’s lovely. Have you also seen our channel with 300 videos all over the world 😁 hope you subscribe and stay tuned!
It’s the other way around unfortunately. The most beautiful spots on Langkawi are of course commercialised because tourism is an important source of income. The reason that happens is because it’s beautiful. I’ve been all over Malaysia and yes there are cheaper places, but no some parts of Langkawi are quite unique 😅🤙🏻 comparing it to Antalya is really shallow. Luckily it’s not a match or a race. The world is in general quite beautiful for all the differences ❤️
Since the islamists took over, this place is no longer open to sell alcohol and clothing laws are strictly enforced. Prices are inflated too if you are a tourist. Better go elsewhere for holidays
Having been to Langkawi for 1 week in Jan 2017, it is truly tropical paradise

Hi! Can I ask the name of the beach where you were at at the beginning of the video (around 45 seconds in ) and if it’s open to the public?
This is the beach at Berjaya, I think you can enter it from the other side too!
What is the weather conditions in September ending? Is it too much rain?

langkawi is just commercial business model similar to Antalya in Turkey.
There are much more beautiful and cheaper places in malaysia.
