You can watch "critter hunter" Justin, who lives in the Philippines. He made a ranking 2 years ago during covid pandemic. Unfortunately mabul has refugees on the island and is polluted now. Hope the dive resorts and ngo can clean it up. Which they did before covid19.

It has nothing to do with terrorists. It is just that Malayans, who call themselves Malaysians, do not care about Sabah at all. Sabah, despite contributing the largest petroleum, timber and oil palm revenues are the poorest in the world now, worse in all aspects than Somalia, the second poorest in the world. The British government is correct. Eastern part of Sabah is not safe. Not only terrorists but locals. When 40% of the poor in Malaysia is in Sabah, especially the eastern part, when Sabah is only 12% of the total population. Imagine how safe can you ever be. Always be on lookout. It appears safe because there are still daily curfews supposedly enforced with great costs. Malaya is so greedy that it will not invest in security for Sabah but will continue extracting revenues like the rm20 tax levied to tourists. All will go to Malaya, not back to Sabah, which is why you do not hear about the most beautiful islands and beaches in the world. Krabi of Thailand is crap, which is why I do not consider it worthwhile to visit any islands at the rest of the world. Even in Somalia, it can still be safe. Non Chinese locals are safe, they just robbed them. Chinese and foreigners will be kidnapped if given the chance, so be careful. Our security forces are riddled with corruption. In fact the former head of security forces at this place is on trial for murder, along with a few of his security personnel. No more news about this, so beware of the Malayan government and journalists . They were never transparent. To be safe, never stay at night. All the kidnappings occurred at night, but they could occur even in the towns. Having a glimpse of heaven on earth is worth all the risks. Even for Sabahans, in fact even worse, because we could have our heads cut off if we recognize these robbers and kidnappers. For Sabahans, it is the price we pay for being so pathetic and electing stupid leaders. Dayus and Fitnah Sarra in Islam.
Sabah has the most islands in Malaysia, and there is also the highest mountain in Kota Kinabalu. The Wildlife Park is also very interesting to explore.

Awesome Having been to Malaysia 5 times myself, I've been to beautiful islands like Perhentian, Redang, Kapas, Tioman, and Langkawi but I haven't yet explored the Borneo part of Malaysia but it is on my list my next Malaysia visit to see Sipadan Island, Mabul Island and Semporna EDIT: Just been to Sabah (my 6th visit to Malaysia) and visited Semporna (truly amazing)

@@titosarmiento8333 To be honest, Mabul Island and Semporna in Borneo are amazing but Redang, Kapas and Redang Islands are just as equally amazing and probably easier to get to from Kuala Terengganu - in fact I did a day trip to Kapas from KT where you can't really do that going to Perhentian and Redang as it takes over 1 hour by boat to get there plus the boats only operates at certain times of the year between March and September

my favorite place. i went many times to semporna changing to several different islands each time until Mataking. Glad you guys went there. yes not many tourists. But I kinda want to keep these islands to myself. A little selfish side of me not letting the crowd knows about them. My secret paradise.
I have been there for the third time and will be there again in August, I am still amazed by its beauty even though I go there repeatedly. Federal government is not promoting for Semporna tourism for many reasons. All foreigners learned Malaysia tropical island only Langkawi projected as high-end 5 star resorts destination. For the islands off Semporna, the natural marine environment is the destination itself. Divers know better of this place. Is one of the top dive site in the world. Sabah Tourism Board (State Level) is pushing very hard over the decades to promote with limited resources. Thanks to social media and youtubers like two of you, it spreads far and fast. Many Malaysians don't know the second busiest airport after KLIA is actually KKIA ever since independence. The first ever Air Asia route laid a solid foundation for its business was KL - KK. Until now still the busiest route. MY Airline - followed the footstep to make sure they had a good start.
Good video peeps. The views from up high looked awesome. Sibuan looked similar to some Thai beach resorts whereas where I went in Redang, was more like the Caribbean or Mombassa, Kenya. South Africa, Greece, Italy and Spain have some superb beaches also, but for me it's still the UK which has the best beaches I've seen. Devon, Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and the Scottish Mainland have stunning beaches but for me there's nothing on God's earth that make you feel the way that the beaches on Harris do. Until you see them with your own eyes you will not believe that nature could be so beautiful.Yes, there are many others on Harris and indeed on Lewis also, but I guarantee that the first time you see Horgabost, Seilebost and then especially Luskentyre, you will be lost for words!

What a gem! I have always loved Sabah and Sabahans are such nice people. If you like snorkeling, Terengganu (East Coast of Malaysia) also has nice small islands and there are also turtle sanctuaries in some of the islands there.
Same in Caramoan Cam Sur Phils. with big powder white sand bar... When we swim you will see some big star fish and some sea animals...When we visit there it was 2015 we walk like more than kilometers...i observe that some in south east asia they have white sand...nice you visit that place....Semporna Malaysia with beautiful white sand beach and try go in kotakinabalu....its nice to visit there the KOTAKINABALU NATIONAL PARK...and there is packages if you want to go in the highest mountain in Southeast Asia....and also try to go..in SANDAKAN NATIONAL PARK...YOU SEE THERE lot of birds watching...lots of wild animals there...orangutan, elephants , flying squirrel...etc etc etc...in Sabah lots of tourist there....but I heard that last year...Sabah is belong in PHILIPPINES...specially Malaysia government they just rent it for many years until 2013 they stop for rent because they say Sabah belong in Malaysia....thats big scandals in there country..
Do more research and you will find that sabah do not belong to the former sulu people. We gave money over the years even though from legal perspectives, we do not have to do so. They tried to inexplicably 'invade' sabah by entering lahad datu in 2013. That's when the malaysian gov stop giving away anything to those jokers.

Hellooo, thank you for visiting Semporna❤ fyi "Bohey" is a Bajau's languange means "Water", "Dulang" is a Malay but also we usual use it in our local languange that means "Tray", so that's why we called the island "Bohey Dulang" if it translate into english as "Water in a tray". It makes the island have a unique scenery. For Sibuan Island, I've heard it from my grandma I'm not sure if it still used at my place but it's been so long "Sibuan" or we used to call it "Sibu'un", "Bu'un" in Bajau's languange is "Hair" and when it called "Sibuan/Sibu'un" it means "The Hair" that's why Sibuan Island is considered as hair because it has a long beach especially when the sea is shallow. It is lovely to get your impressions about Malaysia. I hope your adventure in Semporna gives both of you wonderful memories. Stay safe and I wish you a happy trip!!! ❤

If you like snorkeling, Terengganu (East Coast of Malaysia) also has nice small islands and there are also turtle sanctuaries in some of the islands there.

Same in Caramoan Cam Sur Phils. with big powder white sand bar... When we swim you will see some big star fish and some sea animals...When we visit there it was 2015 we walk like more than kilometers...i observe that some in south east asia they have white sand...nice you visit that place....Semporna Malaysia with beautiful white sand beach and try go in kotakinabalu....its nice to visit there the KOTAKINABALU NATIONAL PARK...and there is packages if you want to go in the highest mountain in Southeast Asia....and also try to go..in SANDAKAN NATIONAL PARK...YOU SEE THERE lot of birds watching...lots of wild animals there...orangutan, elephants , flying squirrel...etc etc etc...in Sabah lots of tourist there....but I heard that last year...Sabah is belong in PHILIPPINES...specially Malaysia government they just rent it for many years until 2013 they stop for rent because they say Sabah belong in Malaysia....thats big scandals in there country..
Do more research and you will find that sabah do not belong to the former sulu people. We gave money over the years even though from legal perspectives, we do not have to do so. They tried to inexplicably 'invade' sabah by entering lahad datu in 2013. That's when the malaysian gov stop giving away anything to those jokers.

Hellooo, thank you for visiting Semporna❤ fyi "Bohey" is a Bajau's languange means "Water", "Dulang" is a Malay but also we usual use it in our local languange that means "Tray", so that's why we called the island "Bohey Dulang" if it translate into english as "Water in a tray". It makes the island have a unique scenery. For Sibuan Island, I've heard it from my grandma I'm not sure if it still used at my place but it's been so long "Sibuan" or we used to call it "Sibu'un", "Bu'un" in Bajau's languange is "Hair" and when it called "Sibuan/Sibu'un" it means "The Hair" that's why Sibuan Island is considered as hair because it has a long beach especially when the sea is shallow.
