Good to see you putting this out for people , So much of the suspension gets ignored by too many of us.

💯 exactly why I did it. Thanks. Don’t matter if it’s stock or 1000 wheel

I am proud to say that I DO Maintain and ENJOY Maintaining my suspension! I love running road-Course tracks and layouts.I Did Not always maintain it in the past and had the car(s) scare the Hell outta me. I ran mostly drag but also had a dirt round-track car.
The round track car taught me to keep a check on everything. When you are out there swapping paint, you don't need a very hard hit to mangle something badly. I really appreciate a fairly long wheelbase with a lot of Understeer in it. That is a fastsetup but it will also bust your a$$ quickly! I caught a nudge to the left quarter just behind the tire and that (Metric) Monte Carlo went approx. 360 degrees to the LEFT AND it came to rest with the drivers side fender on the wall, the car's back was leading into the corner...with about a dozen race cars screaming dead ass AT ME coming off the back straight.... I started a little notebook and kept track of repairs, service and maintenance of all the suspension parts of the front and rear (just the dirt track car at first).
I had a drag car (Mustang) break a control arm bolt/bushing and my daughter held it to her lane. I was proud of her but that was it for that car. I actually arranged for it's sale that night at the track. I want the rear tires at least 3 feet behind my ass. By the time you feel a short wheelbase getting out of shape, it's WAY outta shape. I road course my Challenger but I am planning on it being transportation only and setting up my Fairlane for road racing. As crazy as that sounds it is being built with a completely new independent suspension on a boxed full frame riding on coilovers.I am convincing myself that I have 3500 bucks to stick a Tremac 6 spd behind the roughly 405 inch Windsor that is iņ it.
Nice Rides, nice video and a Dang GREAT JOB of getting the word out. Who cares if the car gets screwed up. When the Mustang 'Danced to the Left' the ONLY THING THAT MATTERED was my Daughter! Keep the car safe for you and the other folks on the track! Ya'll Take Care, John

I put the BMR upper torque box reinforcements on and they seem to stiffen everything up a lot maybe worth looking into. Great video as always! 🤘🏻

Everyone likes working on their engine (power adders).....No one enjoys lying in the dirt, working on rusty, dirty suspension parts. Sadly, I know my suspension has been neglected!

Love the grass roots working class tricks and tips. I've got a new project , it's not a V8 but a Barra turbo. Hopefully I'll get the 5.0 running sooner than later

Tim McAmis performance parts. He builds chassis and sells a ton of parts. Has a great video on YT about hardware. He really stresses how important the right stuff is. Check his video out. He sells high end hardware at virtually any size, legnth, grip, etc.
