Very nice. Twin screw is the way to go. I bought my Cobra new in 2003. I’m 66 I thought about selling mine for something else but it’s to much fun to drive.

I have a 04 cobra. Basically perfect. Ported Eaton/E85/fuel system etc. I’d love to share!

I'm a chevy guy with a 2010 ss camaro 6 speed. I would love some day to have a stock 03 04 cobra. Sweet ride man.
I don't know alot about cars but i always thought mustang has the sweetest body styling the lines the ground effects. Especially the saleen convertible with the roll bar plus they have the most epic exhaust header ratio sound . Especially manual. With no radio cause who needs a radio with exhaust system like that. Sweet build big ups
I also have an 04 Cobra, far from perfect. Lol. But she's cammed, BES Racing rebuild, E85 and a VMP TVS Gen 2 2.3

Love the Terminator Cobra and will never forget the first time I drag raced a 2003 black one right towards the end of 2002 before anyone knew anything about them. I had just bought a new SS Camaro the previous year and added all the bolt ons, exhaust, deleted any restrictions, added better rims & tires which were much wider, and just few other things here or there like 4.11 gears. I thought it was going to be just another walk in the park racing him 1/8th of mile race. He not only beat me, but I only stayed with him through 1st gear. Crossing the 1/8th mile marker he was ahead of me by full car length. I was angry and depressed the rest of the weekend so bad that I took my car to my friends performance shop told him at the moment I wasn't able to go crazy however I need a drastic horsepower increase no nitrous. So, he ordered bunch of parts and called me a week later to come help install shit. Lastly, he put LS1 Hotcam, Edelbrock midlength headers, off road Y-pipe with a cutout, High performance low thermostat, Mallory 80 wall push rods, rebuilt my transmission to Tremec T56 6spd, Centerforce dual clutch, reprogrammed it, and Edelbrock high flow intake manifold plus new much bigger Mas air flow sensor. I had to take the hood off and remove the air restriction out the ram air plus carefully Dremel the slots openings make it wider to allow more air flow because I also added the thing, I ordered that you remove the ramair filter box and cut a square hole using a template in that plastic so this galvanized box slide down into it which curves forward. Its another ramair intake box taking in cold air, but I bought a billet grille and remove the front license plate so that the air comes in through there straight into the box forcing it straight up into the bottom of the ramair lid filter intake that way I also have ramair coming on through the top of the SS hood which comes around entering the front of the ramair lid filter intake. This would give a mild supercharging effect once you picked up speed. Added a dual gauge pod A pillar with air fuel ratio to try to see what it read at certain speeds but I had a lot of trouble with it. Last thing I was a pair of 16 inch Weld Draglite rims with Mickey Thompson slicks that id throw on the rear because I drove around on 18x10.5 inch Zr1 rims with Pirelli 315/35R18 for back tires they are heavy. After all that was done I searched for that Cobra for awhile eventually giving up. I have a huge respect and love for those Mustangs and would love to have one.

Gorgeous car, I had a 99 and an 04, both stock but I did want to go with a Griggs suspension on both cars so badly!

Only the leather jacket that all the 99' owners were given due to all problems with that model. Sold that car maybe 10 yrs ago. I totalled the '04 while open tracking the car, thus I wish I would have gone with the full Griggs suspension. The car didn't have the "tic" and dyno'd 383rwhp stock with the paper air cleaner. Really wanted the mystichrome car but couldn't find one locally?@@cobraowners

woah, I have a 2022 Cobra which I believe is the best GEN Cobra ever, but your car looks and sounds so tuff
I have a v6 04 mustang if you want the sequential turning lamps I have had them for 4 years of Amazon but buy the relay for it because it will blink to fast. Easy to install but I’m after a terminator now as doing anything to a v6 is dumb and will cost more to achieve what you get

Sounds real good! You should get an E85 fuel setup and ported blower. You wont regret it! Would be knocking on 600 rwhp door as well.
What do you think is the best kit to run e85? I would love a flex fuel sensor so I can switch between 91 and e95 for road trips. really interested in doing this to my cobra.
E85 with a ported Eaton would be such a fun street car!!
@@TheClapGodSr. I wish I could remember the setup I had on my old 03. I sold it in 2015 sadly so I don’t remember what I had other than it was a full return style fuel system. At the shop I had it done I told them I wanted to be able to go 800+ without having to change anything but injectors. Sadly I never got close to that goal lol.
@@cobraowners it was a pretty good mix between speed and traction. Mine had 585/582 rwhp/rwtq when I sold it. Fully built SRA swap, UPR K member, ported blower, 2.8/4lb pulley setup, cams, heads, longtubes. On a decent day it could dead hook in 2nd on a 17 inch tire.
I hope to get something similar in the not to distant future.
My 03 cobra 🐍 with ported Eaton on a 2.8 upper - on 91 did 499 I can’t recall trq

Here’s a personal question. Do you like it just cause of what it is ? I’m torn between getting a 03,04 or a vette grew up around these dad had a 04 in a cherry color loved it but want to be able to get some easy power. How do you like the irs suspension or the tech being outdated. Have time to kinda choose just a super hard choice.

Had a 2004 v6 mustang 3.9l with modifications on it and its quick. Tuned and had flowmaster 40s dual exhaust and headers and bbk throttle bodies 😊 not fast as a 2014 mustang v6 but fast than 04 mustang v6 stock
Gotta get a V8 !!! I started way back in 1997 shortly after graduating high school I got a brand new 97 v6, loved that car but in 2002 I found a used 2000 GT and I’ve never looked back !! Once you go v8 Mustang you don’t go back !! I’m in a 06 GT now, definitely not the fastest thing out there, not even close !! But she looks good and sounds even better !!

These were real popular back when I was in highschool. All I remember is one of the seniors had a black one that sounded like just pure sex outta the tail pipes. His family owned a race shop where they built out drags cars, sprint cars, and some derby/figure 8 cars out in Iowa.
I've considered getting one just for the noise it makes. I got a 2011 F250 at home atm with the 6.2 gas V8 in it, all paid off. Been considering getting a second vehicle of some sort. Either an 01-04 Mustang Cobra, an 89-93 Toyota Celica ST185, or a Nissan 90's Z32/R32. Those four in particular have been in my cross hairs for awhile, all legends in their own right.
