IMPORTANT!!!! IMPORTANT!!! ###### wood worker here. you really need to get that wood to acclimate to its environment (the area you plan on using it IE the sauna area itself) at least a week. so any wood movement has a chance to happen. You said it yourself. You are in the wetest micro environment in Bocete! My advice. Move all that wood INSIDE to the SAUNA area and let it sit for a week preferably 2.. or you wont enjoy the results of your labor in 6 months.

Congratulation to your new bathroom. It looks very elegant. After waiting so long for this , a lot of work and effort, we understand how happy you are now it‘s done. I would recommend you a small change. Why don‘t you move the wash mashine and the laundry dryer next to each other, cover the entire space from wall to wall with a wood countertop. It looks much better and you also have a good portion of workspace. From the perspctive shwon in the video, this seems to be possible. Only a recommendation. You are a very impressive couple, a nice small family and I appreciate your courage to achieve your goals.❤❤

Woodworker here and I just had to add some comments 🙂 First, that 'close your eyes and look through your lashes' thing is a well known technique called the safety squint. Second, 100 boards at those measurements equates to 400 board feet (the obscure measurement used in the lumber industry), which, with a 1200 USD total means you paid 3 dollar a board foot which is a great price for mahogany from where I'm sitting. Third, to get more 'reach' out of your chop saw, there are various techniques. One is a bit sketchy so I can't describe it here (you can contact me if you want to know), but the safer way is to cut as far as you can, flip the board over (front to back), line up the saw blade with the kerf of your first cut and cut the remaining bit. This nearly doubles the cut capacity of your saw and should allow you to cut up to 12 inches easy. And the trim looks great. In earlier videos it looked like you stained the boards all around and then glued them, but I could have seen that wrong. Glueing over the stain diminishes the holding power of the glue, so if you did do that, you MIGHT have the glue let go, but I think you'll be ok. Great work!

The place looks amazing! Congratulations! I only have one suggestion, caulk with clear caulk between the wood and the tile. Very small bead. You may choose to do it everywhere at the transition between wood and drywall, too. See if others suggest this, too. Use a bath or window caulk. Mainly to prevent moisture from getting behind the tile/wood transition. Just an idea. Looks amazing!!!!!!! Great job, both of you! ❤

Peppermint plants planted in pots or in the ground around the timber shed will stop "Mice, Fleas, Ticks and Spiders - they hate the smell of Peppermint. If at the very least, you can use Peppermint tea bags and throw them into the shed. Problem solved! 😊
**Warning to the people who have Bears living in the area of the United States, Canada and other countries that have bears. Bears love Peppermint! It attracts them. Don't plant anywhere near your house. Plant it far away from your house to keep them away from your house and outbuildings.**

Hi, long time subscriber but my first comment. I'm a 58 year old carpenter who wants to help out (not troll). I've noticed you leave the flip over part of your table saw fence when you use it. This is for when you are cutting wide pieces of thin plywood. If you extend the fence past the side of the table you will see it wants to sit flush with the table top. it basically extends the top for floppy work not to go under the fence. It should be flipped out of the way for thinner rips. Also you'll notice that your measuring tape will become accurate and (when properly adjusted) you won't need to measure every cut anymore. hope this helps...

Cograts on a job well done, and props to you for taking the time it needed to do what you wanted.
A couple tips for your ongoing work: when you have wood meeting the floor, especially where its going to be moist, which sounds like anyplace in your country, put a bead of caulk on the wood before installing it for the final time, especially where its end grain hitting the wood.
In your sauna I'd suggest sealing the end grain of the wood, hell, I suggest sealing the end grain in every case, as it really sucks up moisture like a sponge.
And when using your finish or trim nailer, don't use the tip of the gun to force the wood tight to something, like a wall or another piece of wood. Pushing on the nailer can end up leaving a dent in the wood, much bigger than just the nail head. Where needed use a clamp or somehow put pressure on the wood in a different way. Also, drive your finish nails at maybe a 15 degree angle. That will hold the piece tight even if it has some spring in the wood, as long as you change the position of the gun every couple nails, angle left, then angle right, the nails will act as a clamp of sorts.
Does Santa come down your chimney, a very thin Santa?

I just finished re-building a sauna, you need to get the wood into the sauna room and let it sit there for few days, let it climatise!
Let’s just say that i built my sauna 7 months ago and i had to take all the wood down and rebuild because I didn’t let the wood get aclimated. I’m in Dallas TX where we have high heat and humidity from hell, so yes let the wood get cozy.
