  • Now here is a tiny house with some revolutionary design! Rebecca is a designer who has poured tremendous effort into creating the perfect tiny home for both her and her son.
This tiny house is packed full of ultra clever design ideas, which have resulted in this being one of the most functional and spacious homes that we have ever featured on the show.
There's plenty of room for her son as well, who has what could easily be one of the most incredible tiny house kids rooms on the planet, while upstairs Rebecca has crafted a dream small home office for her design work.
Clever design tricks make this home feel twice its size. It really is a masterclass in good design. We hope you enjoy watching the full tour of this enchanting home.
Rebecca has developed a modular and transportable deck system which is specially designed for tiny homes. You can find out more about that here: readydecksystems.co.nz/

The design of this tiny house is incredibly impressive and I need to give a huge shoutout to Rasa for filming this episode so well! All the mirrors in this space make the home feel easily twice its size, but also makes it exceptionally difficult to film. Let us know if you spot Rasa in any of the shots! 😆 We hope you enjoy the tour of this amazing tiny house. With Love, Bryce & Rasa

Indeed this house is very impressive; from the design, layout, concept to the furnishings, & fixtures. It gives that coziness & luxurious feeling from the living room to the bathroom, & the 3D bedroom design. Plus her son's bedroom is just adorable. Since I always have a soft spot for kitchens, this one got me! Ugh. Nicely done, indeed.

I must admit, this tiny home is at the top of my list of homes that you've featured. I've been viewing your videos for months because I'm seriously considering doing this. I live in Beaverton, Oregon in a 1 story ranch home, approximately 1,000 square feet with a sunroom that I added on which is about 200 sq. feet. I love my home, but it's becoming far too much for me to maintain by myself. The home sits on just under a 1/4 acre of land and it’s the upkeep of the yard that's wearing me down. Unfortunately, being able to find a place to put a tiny home on in Oregon isn't out there and too many corporations have come in and bought up homes and it has driven the prices of everything to a California price range. One thing about my decision to make a change, is that because I was born in Oregon, I have no desire to live anywhere else. At one time in my life, I traveled the US for 6 months and hit 49 of the 50 states. I recognized then that there's no place as beautiful or giving as the West Coast. By living near Portland, I'm basically less than 1.5 hours from the coast, mountains, and desert. Hard to find that anywhere else. Thanks for showing the world these beautiful ideas for tiny living. This woman did an amazing job on her design.

I love the tiny houses specially the way Bryce is showing them on this channel.
But honestly these high end places have completely changed the meaning of real tiny house living.
Which actually meant living frugally with minimalism.
You can call them tiny houses but they are far different than the real small living, cutting costs and living more simply and frugally.
I no more see that here.
Pls don't mind what I think of it.

Same!! I always think about radical changes I would do to other tiny house designs I see.. with this one I would only slightly modify the homeoffice.. I'd add a window behind the monitors and I'd put some plant pots between the office and the bedroom.. I also think the plain view of my that bed would distract me 😅

As a gamer who spends more leisure time sitting at a desk than sitting on a lounge (but not wanting to sacrifice a lounge) so many tiny homes just don't have space for a proper computer desk. My perspective is that when two people bring children into the world, they should be committed to working through their issues like mature people for the well-being of the children. Of course there can be very serious problems, and I don't recommend dragging it out over years, but if we're talking about selfishness, immaturity, lack of discipline, etc, then more effort needs to be made for the sake of the child's long term wellbeing.

I think it was that she was able to 'pivot herself sideways' out of a dark situation. As a woman this meant a lot. She shifted herself and her son into a new, more in tune with her and her sons life. She worked hard at opening a new door that has benefited her family. Her home is beautifully designed n crafted, it's very personal and functional. Even her modular deck is awesome. One of the best designs - I love how realistic that there's an actual OFFICE instead of just using a bench top in the kitchen as a 'sometimes office.' Very cool!

I'm three and a half years into my 5 yr plan to go tiny, and this is the closest I've 'toured' to what I've got in my head, piecing together ideas from the crazy amount of virtual touring I've done, primarily from your channel, Bryce and Rasa (Thanks for that!) I'm wondering if you are willing to sell your plans, Rebecca? You did a stunning job, girl, and even though everyone will want little customizations, this is a perfect jumping off point! My hat goes off to you! And Rasa, you did a fabulous job of hiding from yourself😂 Flawless! I went back and watched it again to see, but I found myself getting distracted by the content of it, so it took 3 runs through😂
Also: very inspiring story...I love to see such a rewarding example of the universe unfolding exactly as it should🌈 Much love and light to you and your son, as you enjoy the life you have built for yourself!

I use mirrors for the light, for the extra depth and space perception, and it works well for seeing around corners too, helps to keep an eye out if you have a little one running around.
