- These tiny houses are unlike any you’ve seen before. From the amazing polycarbonate walls which fill the interior with filtered light, to the genius windows design providing inbuilt seasonal shading, some seriously clever idea’s have been poured into these homes.
Wayne is an architect, who had an amazing time allowing his creativity to run wild on designing two dream houses for his family to call home. Here, Wayne was able to test out some seriously out-of-the-box ideas and the results will leave you speechless!
This week, we visit not just one but two tiny houses which have been brilliantly designed to work together as a family home. One tiny house is shared by Anthea and Wayne, while the other houses their two daughters, Darienne and Remony, giving plenty of space and privacy for each member of the family.

These two tiny houses are filled with some next-level design! I had an amazing time visiting these homes and seeing all the wonderful design ideas which make them work so well. For me, what sets you apart from the rest is that you are skillfully spontaneous. Though you follow a certain flow of the interview with your structured questions to get the important details for your subscribers/viewers benefit yet you're keen on acknowledging the details of each home, able to express thoughts into words spontaneously especially the way you wrap things up at the end of each video. Just genuine, honest thoughts expressed spontaneously, not read or rehearsed. And that's one key to having an edge on the craft that you do.
Every time I think I have found a favorite, then along comes another video. Their awesome ideas with decor and use of materials just blows me away! Love it! No words to describe its beauty!
I know the feeling! I'm always amazed that after so long filming this show I still see brand new design ideas that totally blow my mind.
Well Tammy, I had a top 10 but that top 10 now has about 40 tinies within it, all stunning in different ways with wonderful design ideas, all homely and characterful.... This one was wowsome...
Exactly! I've been saving up for my own tiny house so I always come to this channel for ideas. Metal and polycarbonate for walls in these homes just blew my mind. Genius.

Me too! My throat got a bit tight at that part. My husband and I have made some similar decisions in the last few years. I’m grateful we had the privilege to get that perspective and the ability to make some changes, we’re all much closer as a family (2 teenagers as well) and feel more authentic in ourselves. It has changed some of our ‘friendship’ groups in a very good way too.

So many unique features in these homes!! The father definitely is not afraid of trying something new. I've seen people use the white plumping pipe for fences and screens but never a window!!

These tiny houses just get better and better! While I probably won't be building mine for a while I am almost finished with my design but as these videos keep coming I will probably get more ideas I want to add in my own home. Already at 10 meters long for a single person haha

I would never think that using so many different material types would work so well, but it really does! So many interesting features to these homes
Wow. This has ideas that totally blew my mind. I love how he brought in the natural light and the pressed tiles on the outside and the ceiling. Things that I would never thought could be done in a tiny house using the pipe cut to shade the sun just brilliant! These tiny homes definitely hit the top of my favorites! Just WOW!
Family tiny homes are always my favourite videos, because we have been carrying the idea of going tiny with our small family for such a long time. I love to see how this family has built a beautiful home for themselves, that meet the needs of teenagers and young adults. It gives me hope, that we will one day be able to achieve our goal too! Thank you Bryce for your loving and appreciative way of introducing us to courageous families, couples and individuals all over the world, who never fail to inspire our dreams.
Think I would turn one of them around so the doors face each other, then create a covered walkway, somehow, for those rainy days. Perhaps even top it with additional solar panels.

The design of these tiny homes is unbelievable and the decor is so inviting. Absolutely my favorite so far (and I've seen a lot of tiny homes!). My husband and I have four adult children, and I would love to have set up like this with a third tiny home. They have special needs and the boys will need to stay with us. I love the idea of them having their own privacy and independence with the security and comfort of being so close. They are such a wonderful and talented family!
I vote for a prize of one of the best houses of 2023!

This was absolutely phenomenal!😍❤️ The design of each was fantastic and the use of materials outstanding! The wall of light was absolutely fantastic, then the windows with the filtered light 😍 The pressed metal which is rarely seen in the UK, that looks absolutely gorgeous! The whole design cosy, friendly, loving and wonderful colours throughout 🌈 Truly beautiful homes for a really beautiful family. Bryces summary at the end made me tear up, absolutely wonderful ❤️
Very interesting design ideas in these fascinating homes. The best feature effect was definitely the polycarbonate wall - just WOW. The light this brought to the entire home was amazing giving the experience of always aligning to the daylight - as though you're actually outside. Truely epic. Love to find out more about these amazing walls & the insulating qualities. This wall concept really does make small Tinys so much more appealing to live in.

These homes are just brilliant! So many creative design elements and wonderful uses of materials - the polycarbonate, the denim, the seaweed (I'm assuming that's what those lampshades were!), the PVC pipe rounds. Human ingenuity is boundless! I do wish you had shown inside the entryway where the fridge appeared to be, and that very cool rooftop patio! Very excited to have seen these amazing houses, and how this family is living together.
Both these tiny houses are so unique, beautiful and cosy. Love the kind of materials used, and the amazing press metal designs. Everything about these two houses is just great!

The word "unique" means 'one of a kind,' so it isn't possible for both houses to "so" unique (no such thing as 'so' unique....unique describes itself without superlatives). Now, if you'd said the CONCEPT of the houses was unique, you'd have hit it square on the head....

Of all the channels on RUclips, this is my favourite. Its the intention of making these videos make it so positive and soothing.. watching this is therapeutic and im actually gonna take ideas for my new home which ill move into next month. I just ❤ how Bryce sums up the tiny house movement at the start and end of every video. This one was the best and almost had me in tears. This family is the perfect example of what Bryce speaks about: loving people living together, creating their dream life experience while taking care of our planet.

As Tammy said below, just when you think that you've seen it all, along comes something to beat it. Both are simple in layout but beautifully designed & decorated. They have really captured the essence of Living Big, in a Tiny House.
Probably my most favorite home all these years due to it matching most closely my aesthetic & needs. But many others run a close second! Beautifully designed & executed. Without question, for me, the most unique homes to date. The richness of the materials and the eclectic design and features was really beautiful. The architectural design was really impressive, but so was their taste for design. Pretty interesting couple and family.
So glad you have visited my part of the world! There are some amazing examples of wild, weird, diy and tiny homes tucked away between the dreadful swathes of soulless ‘Mc-estates’ across the Surfcoast. So inspiring to take a peek inside this family’s brilliant set up.
Aside from the beautiful tiny home, what I love with this family is on how the parents can influence their children positively and for sure they will have it for life. Awesome content team! ❤❤

Theres a lot of creativity, I really amazed with the tiny houses. Especially loveeeeeeees the gradient jeans wall in the parent house. The shower is also very cool, with a doom for skylight.
One of the coolest Parents I know! Like wow! Allowing their daughters to have their own tiny house and also allowing a Van life!

I like how he combined the different materials, the industrial feel with warm and romantic details that make the house very cozy.
The shower is interesting and essential, the copper taps are beautiful. All of the exposed pipes remind me of my loft in Tribeca, NYC where they were all horizontal near the floor and some even vertical.
Same mix between industrial and lots of wood.
Their surrounding property is immense, I don't know how far they are from a town but for me it would be a bit isolated.
Definitely a good choice of living, we should all learn and have the courage to make it, it's good for our health and soul.
Bryce should start a matchmaking feature for the fans of his channel . I hope to find my future tiny house partner here 😂😂

I always said, If i could do it over..I would built one tiny house with attached additional tiny houses for each of my children...then when they got old enough, I would just un-hook their tiny house and off they go!

I love both the houses have their own kitchen - completely functional for a separate use fully and of course two lofts gives additional privacy in their own world.
