The bit that stood out to me the most was that the kids weren't just given a closet with a tiny little bed, Emma and Joel have actually given them proper beds and nice storage and a really cosy and cute area!
Yeah in most tiny homes the kids get tiny rooms and the parents get the big room which is unfair because s child sounds more time in the room than the parent

I wonder if part of all this beauty and calm and serenity comes from the fact that there are books instead of a television?!!! It was a pleasure to watch!! 💖
In some of the other videos people rent land in someones backyard, or stay at a trailer park. But indeed most of the tiny houses are on family lots or they have bought land themselves.
Pretty much all of the tiny houses in our area are on someone else's land and they pay the land owners a small rent (like really small, 1/5 of normal rent)
There are also tiny house communities - for families, for retirees, etc. They don't cost a lot to rent either. I have seen tiny house/rv community by a lake for $250 a month. I guess it's so low because you are only renting a lot.
Darling home! Their love and investment into their daughter’s childhood is admirable. They see the importance in having plenty of books and outdoor creative fun play space. These girls will have memories to cherish from this experience. 😇💕🎶💐
The outdoor makes the indoor feel bigger. When the tour of the inside was being given, in the back of my mind I had the total space available to the property. House may be small but the property itself is bigger than most average suburban block or close to it. I love some of the things in the inside. Specially the large sink, washing a pan in a small sink is messy, and the size of this sink will allow for any family's day to day need. The colour combination is fantastic as well, perfect to brighten the inside and not let the smaller space close in.
"No, no, no, no, no.... It's a tiny house!" Too cute. This couple is the perfect example of prioritizing family life and having only the things you need. It's a gorgeous house. I wish they had made a proper bedroom for themselves. They deserve it, as young parents of two energetic girls. Bryce, you look adorable in the nursing chair. 😍😘🤩 Excellent video. Thanks for uploading.
I love this! I saw a video of a tiny home where the two children were basically sharing a closet as a bedroom/ playroom and this is much better. The parents sacrificed a small amount of privacy to ensure that their children were comfortable and that’s very admirable.
As the children grow, the sacrifice of a “little privacy” will become a genuine problem. Parents need privacy for intimacy & that is definitely missing.
The playground, swing, pool and the bedrooms really show how their parents are willing to give their children the best❤️it shows how the kids get more than what you could get living in a normal house💜
I almost cried watching this. This episode shows the essence of a tiny house. Truly, love grows in a tiny house. That is the reason for tiny living apart from the financial aspects of it. Outstanding.
I loved that there was not a 600 inch TV dominating the living space. These parents want their kids to grow up knowing how to interact with others and how to play, like kids should. Love this family and this tiny house.
Land is just so expensive. And, depending where you are, it can be hard to acquire as well. I think that's a big part of the reason why that happens so often. But honestly, in this case, since he's away a lot, it makes sense to me. She has help if she needs it while he's gone.
@@rachelback6972 Oh Im not smack-talking this couple at all, good for them - its just in terms of the tiny house movement in general, it seems only achievable for a privileged few who's families already have extensive resources.
Watching these tiny houses has really inspired me to consider embarking on a journey to build design and build a similar house in South Africa and this exposure came when I was preparing to purchase a house through a loan but I will not go that loan route any more. Thank you for such a great experience.
This tiny house is truly inspiring. This one is the best to me. Joel and Emma clearly know how to make a perfect tiny house for their beautiful family. And 'Living Big In A Tiny House' is the best channel ever. Well done, Bryce and Rasa! 👍
I'm in love with the little girl walking down the stairs, haha, so cuuuteee. One of my favorite tiny houses, the outdoor space is very beautiful as well as the inside.
I think this is my favorite tiny house! I like the fact that their are 2 tiny spaces upstairs. I would have raised the roof, if possible another foot in those cute tiny bedrooms. Then everything would have been perfect. The parents are total minimalists with their own clothes.
Ive been binge watching your channel SO much lately, and of all the tiny houses, I think this might be the nicest and most conventional. The fact they were able to have two gigantic lofted spaces that two full size or bigger beds is awesome... Yes they lack cabinet space compared to others but I think this is the best set up with the most "realistic" amenities. To me also, the washer/dryer is non-negotiable and I love how a "real" one (not a combined machine) was able to fit along with a full size tub! Also the design is stunning and hit the nail right on the head for farmhouse. Great job!
I have seen quite a lot of tiny houses and love so many, but this one is really one of the top ones. It’s really homey. I love it and the family is adorable. Good luck to them. And the host is such a great interviewer. Love from New Jersey😊
One of the best tiny house i've seen, not just a house but family as priority and heartwarming to see them creating such a spacious and luxurious space for their kids when they themself sleep on the couch
Any tiny home parking spot that has farm animals is great. The interior of the home was fantastic. All of the recent homes from BC have really impressed me.
Wow, that's an amazing example of great parents. So much love and dedication for the little ones. I love it when she said they felt that this is the right time to teach the kids about a simple life. Love the play ground swimming pool and just the set up. Amazing work guys. I love tiny houses
It would be a delight to see a redo on this tiny house every year. This little family can only grow up to be so close. I wish that every family on the Earth could have an arrangement like this. Thank you for posting this video!
This has been one of my most favorite episodes ever! I love what they have done to incorporate their children into this tiny home! It really makes me feel, as a single mother of 2 that this type of living is absolutely attainable even with children! Thank you for creating this channel and showing all of these different creative ideas that people from all walks of life have used to adapt to a simpler lifestyle!
These parents must be in their early 30s-my age-but I don’t possess their same air of adulthood. They could be my mom and dad. They’re the archetypal grown ups. Wild. Why do some people seem so much “older” than their contemporaries?
Simple answer - cause you are childless therefore have much less responsibility. Also early thirties is not that young. 40's is just in several years time. And 40's is a middle age.
Bryce when you review these tiny homes, could you also mention their power and water sources? While the aesthetics are interesting, on another level I'd like to know more practical details. I sometimes wonder how much of their stuff is in storage? Is what we see in the videos all they really own? I look forward to every video you produce, you do a great job.
He almost always does. He didn't need to ask here because they volunteered it or it is plainly evident. They use composting toilet because there is no septic hookup. There's a monster water cistern in back and they have two LP tanks on the tongue and they are obviously tied into the grid (no solar panels).
What an absolutely lovely couple and beautiful tiny house ♥️ I loved Joel and Emma’s humour, kindness and their love of family time. This video made me really happy 😊
One of my fav videos! But it's more on how precious and loving this family is. I genuinely feel happy and looking forward on the idea in creating my own tiny house with my future family. Watching Living Big in A Tiny House for years now have changed me to be a more insightful and appreciative person towards life.
Besides the wonderful design of this home, I’m so impressed with this couple and all they portray as good/great parenting choices & skills. Also... I was way impressed noticing that a giant TV was absent from their walls. Actually, I did not see any size TV, unless it was hidden! Bravo!
This couple is the first I have seen make a tiny home work for a family with children. You can tell that they really thought out their space and how it would work for their family.
Is there any privacy at all though? Like what happens when the parents have intimate time? Hey kids we are having an earthquake. Close your ears until the house stops shaking.
Wow! I love the farmhouse style, especially in the kitchen. Would love to know more about the little white fireplace. What an amazing location too. It's great being so close to grandparents (we built a granny flat at our home for my parents). The poster with the writing above the fireplace is just gorgeous. Lovely words.
Wow, they such as beautiful family. It's nice their philosofy about family and this new style of life. This is how a couple really love eachother and their kids and enjoy being closer. The world is forgetting simple things like that. The kids grow and we gonna have those moments together in our memories.
You hit another one out of the park as usual Bryce. What a great couple and an amazing family. I had a hard time remembering it was a tiny house, it’s beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. What a great environment for their girls.
What a great layout. It feels so cozy. I definitely got some design ideas from this one. I also like that they fit a full washer and dryer in there, not one of those combo ones that only steam cleans so clothes come out hot/damp and still need to fully dry.

I wonder if part of all this beauty and calm and serenity comes from the fact that there are books instead of a television?!!! It was a pleasure to watch!! 💖
Bryce this video is beautiful. I love my Saturday morning self care with a huge cup of tea & your weekly videos - thank you.
Ditto!!
Thanks so much Rochelle! Glad you enjoyed it.
Agree...
Nothing better than a Bryce video and a cup of tea
plus 1 on that. Bryce you do make my Saturday's so happy!
So many of these people are lucky to have parents with space for them.
Emma has the most beautiful soul and energy and it makes her feel like sunshine in human form. Her girls are so lucky to have a Mother like her
I felt the same way!
okay this is my favourite tiny house so far! i LOVE IT
I agree
I didn't expect you in the comments of this 😂 I watched your videos about your renovation and always end up thinking the same about your flat
I agree💯
same!!! 🥰
I end up saying that to all of them
Where do people park their tiny home if they don't have wealthy friends or family with lots of spare land?
In some of the other videos people rent land in someones backyard, or stay at a trailer park. But indeed most of the tiny houses are on family lots or they have bought land themselves.
Pretty much all of the tiny houses in our area are on someone else's land and they pay the land owners a small rent (like really small, 1/5 of normal rent)
There are also tiny house communities - for families, for retirees, etc. They don't cost a lot to rent either. I have seen tiny house/rv community by a lake for $250 a month. I guess it's so low because you are only renting a lot.
I wonder also!
Mike Buteyn For real.
White makes everything beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Darling home! Their love and investment into their daughter’s childhood is admirable. They see the importance in having plenty of books and outdoor creative fun play space. These girls will have memories to cherish from this experience. 😇💕🎶💐
I just love this sweet family. Loads of love, kindness, and mindfulness of each other. 💓
the most beautifull tiny house i ever saw.....in the last 5 years....
every single video: "cant wait to see what youve done on the inside"
Maheen Tariq
I would laugh so hard if just one time he said, I don’t want to see what’s inside 😂
its not a bad signature...don't you think?
Well! He is right every time. We can’t wait😂
Me too. I am always eager to know.
Such a harmless comment. You know its Bryce.
Bryce, must applaud the homes you showcase here.
Another lovely home! Emma was fun to listen to. This couple are such loving parents.
What a lovely tiny home, and what a Lovely Family. Good Luck to them : )
I love this!
Every child on earth should be so lucky to live in this environment ✨💕
I almost cried watching this. This episode shows the essence of a tiny house. Truly, love grows in a tiny house. That is the reason for tiny living apart from the financial aspects of it. Outstanding.
THE COUPLE IS SO CUTE, MY FAVE COUPLE IN THIS SERIES
It doesn't even look like a tiny house as soon as you walk in. So bright inside and functional spaces. One of my favorites!
Her planter boxes are on point! An amazing house. Love the 2 bedrooms and all the big appliances.
Love this house BUT Adore the FAMILY! BLESS YOU 💕
I mean, what such adoring parents! They CLEARLY love these girls, what a thoughtful layout and design. Well done 💖
Yeah because ordinarily parents don't love their children
I loved that there was not a 600 inch TV dominating the living space. These parents want their kids to grow up knowing how to interact with others and how to play, like kids should. Love this family and this tiny house.
Seems like one of the pre-requisites for building a tiny house is having parents who have 10 extra acres of land...
Its so true- its so rare to find any tiny house people who did it on "their own" which is a bit demoralizing.
@@trishr7689 Purchasing land isn't that hard. You can find decent pieces of land or lots near larger cities for under 10-30K.
I’ve seen a few that parked in RV parks or rented a small plot of land.
Watching these tiny houses has really inspired me to consider embarking on a journey to build design and build a similar house in South Africa and this exposure came when I was preparing to purchase a house through a loan but I will not go that loan route any more. Thank you for such a great experience.
I seriously kept a smile on my face the ENTIRE time I was watching this, n still have it! 😊
This tiny house is truly inspiring. This one is the best to me. Joel and Emma clearly know how to make a perfect tiny house for their beautiful family. And 'Living Big In A Tiny House' is the best channel ever. Well done, Bryce and Rasa! 👍
The best ever from the home to the authentic family. The girls exhibit the love they experience in the home.
What sweet, loving parents! Their daughters are lucky. Very cute home
It has that “Home is where the heart is” vibe. I looove it!❤️
What a wonderful home and couple. I love their goal in life. Your children are so lucky and fortunate to have parents like you. God bless your family.
I have to say this is the prettiest tiny home I have seen. Emma & Joel have done a beautiful job. Well done.
Children grow so fast .. this is incredible.. simplifying life is such a game changer 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Simplicity. Even the little ones love it. What a great gift you gave your children. Now that's what I call the start of a beautiful life. Namaste.
I'm loving all these Canadian tiny homes! We're so fortunate to live in such a beautiful country. All the best to Emma, Joel and the girls 🙂
When Bryce was in the baby’ s room he looked like Alice in Wonderland after he’d drunk the “ grow me “ potion. 😂
that is a hilarious comment. But, it is true!!
😂😂😂😂❤️
hahahahaha
Came here to read comments to see if others see what i see in this couple!!! Magic! I feel the love
No way, 40's for sure.
Jacob Chapman, they're most likely "old souls"
Justice 60 no, definitely 30’s
Having children ages people. Besides, being young at heart is a wonderful quality. Enjoy it while you have it.
Unselfish parents at their best. These children are so blessed.❤ Lovely tiny home, patio and outdoor play area/ park.❤
The most beautiful tiny house I've ever seen. Very well kept too. The family and their thoughts are equally beautiful.
Thanks so much for sharing.
well kept because they probably do not live in it.
Well kept because I’m sure majority of the time they live in the big house with her mommy and daddy. 😂
Bravo!
I'm so in love with this house. I'm a single woman, so the kids spaces would be used differently but I love the county home feel.
Joel and Emma a job well done and your love and respect for one another and your children is contagious!
GOD bless you all.
Emma and Joel have a great relationship. Superb housing and lovely daughters! Great luck folks🤦❣️☮️
Everything's beautiful from the family to the house, the property.....EVERYTHING
It was nice of those kids the allow their parent to live with them.
I want a husband who agrees to me for everything like this guy did to his wife....how gentle and swt😊😇
Kinda sounds abusive
So you want a doormat.
Beautiful! Loved the house and the family. ❤️ May God bless them always. Thank you Bryce for another wonderful video.
This couple is the first I have seen make a tiny home work for a family with children. You can tell that they really thought out their space and how it would work for their family.
The secret behind tiny houses is the ability to have a great moments near the family and I think this couple really Understand that so good job
Thanks Carla! Glad you enjoyed the tour.
@@livingbig I was wondering if a TV was behind it as I didn't see one any place else
Anddi Hier They seemed to be really into outdoor time and reading so I just assumed that they didn’t have one.
@@ajhuser1 maybe they don't have one or need one. They looked unplugged and happy about it.
@@gsh4373 Maybe they don't..... ..but I bet they have one and it's just hidden and that is a great hiding place and good idea.
Wow, they such as beautiful family. It's nice their philosofy about family and this new style of life. This is how a couple really love eachother and their kids and enjoy being closer. The world is forgetting simple things like that. The kids grow and we gonna have those moments together in our memories.
Thank you, Bryce, for all the wonderful Canadian tiny house videos! What a lovely couple.
You hit another one out of the park as usual Bryce. What a great couple and an amazing family. I had a hard time remembering it was a tiny house, it’s beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. What a great environment for their girls.
Lovely to see parents prioritizing the space for their children. Oftentimes we see the kids space feel like a huge afterthought.
I love how in most of the tiny house videos, the couples with kids are being considerate about their kids and thinking what would work good for them
What a great layout. It feels so cozy.
I definitely got some design ideas from this one.
I also like that they fit a full washer and dryer in there, not one of those combo ones that only steam cleans so clothes come out hot/damp and still need to fully dry.
One beautiful family, these children have a super bright future and their parents are so loving! It's so nice and heartwarming to see this
I see no television...what a great parents they are. More to real world. Great job!
Thats probably because they dont live in that tiny house
I don’t have a tv and neither do my grown kids. It’s not necessary.
* Lotusblume * its a good way to raise kids in my opinion
