I had a conversation with my mom Christmas night telling her, as fun as Christmas was as a child, feeling all of the excitement and anticipation, I've always thought it was so much more fun as a parent. Getting to create all that magic for your children all month long. Getting to see the excitement, wonder and joy on their faces. It was sincerely the funnest part of getting to be a parent. Seasons change and our children grow up, but you never forget how it felt and how wonderful it was to have the privledge of getting to experience that time.

Tip on the T&G; if you use the nail gun finish nails through the tongue at a downward angle, then you won't ever see any nails, and they won't rust and bleed on the wood. :) I did my entire ceiling that way, and most of our cabin walls.

My daughter had one of those trampolines when she was that age. She loved it for years. It was inside in the winter and outside in the summer.

Ahh, Merry Christmas to all of my Panamanian friends! Loved seeing you all together as a family. ❤️ Sadie is just so sweet and smart. I loved watching her Christmas excitement. The lemon meringue pie looked delicious! When I was in HS at a boarding school, I woke up on a Sunday, and a girl in our dorm said, "Don't go out their. You're gonna get a shot!" Girls had been getting sick all night, to the point that they had nurses from the hospital next door, come over to give compazine. Turned out lemon meringue pie had been left sitting at room temperature, and everyone who ate it the day before got food poisoning. I'm not a fan of meringue, so I was spared. It was the day of our Christmas glee club and band concert. The risers were pretty empty. I bet the nun who was our cook felt really bad.

An emulsion blender can whip egg white usually comes with a beater, brand names check it out ... best pastry for for and non fruit pies... blind bake... lard or shortening with butter pastry... filling 2 egg yolks , sugar , lemon, cornstarch.. best is lemon ciffon, whipped cream in loo of egg whites... happy baking.🥭

A floor belt sander is great for sanding surface and edge of board. You could probably set your helpers with a sweet work shop ang crank out finish boards. The cost of that stuff retail is enough to send you over the top. Exotic woods back here in the states are super big bucks.

I think you might want to research sauna wood finishes. I think the wood is not stained or treated to spare the occupants from the solvents off gasing when the sauna heats up. Just want you all to be safe. Keep up the great work.

Hi guys. You can use paraffin oil on the wood. That will keep dirt and moisture away from the wood. that's what we use in our sauna.
