Having a therapist, cultivating genuine friendships, pursuing hobbies of interest, prayer, and self-reflection/journaling are what I personally do to build confidence. I have a tea ritual where I sit down, usually after the night prayer and reflect on what I did that day over a cup of tea. If anything, I made myself tea and I'm connecting with God. This has been immensely helpful. Taking time to learn new things also boosts confidence.
I think people play a huge role in self esteem so if you have positive role models that's great. For some people, we don't, also it can take people a long time to gather self esteem and work through any underlying issues.
That was a good tip regarding putting a picture up of your younger self and imagine talking negative to her.
Guten Tag from Germany from a German 🇩🇪 found your channel a few weeks back and find the topics very interesting. Especially learning about some struggles you have when you grow up in another culture. I always admire people growing up with different culture and languages. I find it so inspiring and I always feel a bit boring being proper German, growing up here and only knew German as language when I was young. I think encountering different cultures can make you a much better person. I do find it very important to know about identity issues as I have an Indian boyfriend and we are also planning to have children one day. So keep going 🙌 my comment doesn’t fit to the todays topic but I wanted to drop it as you wrote Guten Tag and I was thinking about this when I was watching your content lastly
Oh nein 🙊 du bist auf deine Art einzigartig! Du kannst immer noch verschiedene Sprachen lernen und dich mit Freunden mit verschiedenen Hintergründen umgeben, um deinen Horizont erweitern. Alles Gute dir!
Ey krass, hätte nicht gedacht ne deutsche hier unten zu finden 😂🫶🏻 willkommen Schwester:D

Tazzy makes me cry in a goid way. She has helped me be more empathetic and compassionate.
Loved the video. Especially the point about self care I agree 100%. When you take care of yourself and your health and when you do the things that matter and that you love you feel 1 million times better about yourself 😊
Lipstick looks stunning 😍
its crazy how alike we think Tasneem!!! these things are exactly what i did to build confidence. u put my thoughts into words, Allahuma Barik. May Allah bless you for this, Ameen.
loving your videos girl😍Been a subscriber from the start so seeing your growth is just beautiful. Confidence is definitely difficult to comes to grip with when your an outsider so this video was much needed, thank you!!☺☺
great video. our thoughts are not reality. i love the idea of having a photo of your younger self nearby so you won't talk badly to yourself/them. i found that on leahsfieldnotes
i read that your inner critic is actually trying to help you even though it doesn't feel like it. it's protecting deeply vulnerable and ashamed parts of yourself. like how hyper vigilance in anxiety is trying to protect your body from danger, however that danger is often non-existent. our bodies are wonderful at protecting us, sometimes to a fault. we need to dive deep into the inner layers of the onion to see what's really happening inside of us
an important thing to note is the role of your parents or primary caregivers in building your self-esteem. they were your first teachers on everything and thus shape how you view yourself and the world today. if they lacked recognition and affection towards you, your self-esteem and self-worth can be non-existent. this may be the root of it all and we need to address this in order to heal. if we don't address the harmful things we learnt, we will only internalise them and pass them on
God these videos are gold😭 keep it up tazzyyyy
You are such an amazing, beautiful person. You inspire me. 🥰
Salam there, Tasneem and Ramadan Kareem!
I can really relate to talking nice to yourself, instead of just trashing yourself all the time. I am a university student, and no kidding, it gets brutal at times. and then it's just so easy and natural to curse and talk negative about your ownself. but just positive, gentle and calm completely turns the tables around.
These are the messages that the whole world needs to hear. Thank you 😊 🙏😎
