  • I go for a relaxed ride on Mount Seymour, connecting Severed D. into John Deer - two trails I know very well, so my chance of injury is at a minimum. Going out for an early morning ride is a great way to get some exercise during this period of lock down, and an even better way to take your mind off of things.

Where we live not much has changed. Kids are not at school but my wife and I are still working. Riding probably a bit more than usual but like you I’m doing the stuff I know. Not the best time to need emergency care.
As for goggles I’ve never had them. I have poor eye sight in bright light/ shadow mix so thinking of trying a 100% transition lens. Craney has them and loved them. The fogging up is my concern too but I hear they are great .
Nice riding my friend. Mick 🇦🇺

It's nice to live in a place where we're still allowed to live. I worry about our trail access being revoked soon, I guess some people around here aren't respecting the rules and they've been closing other trail centers... it might only be a matter of time here.

agree with your approach to riding right now. I had same sort of ride yesterday and am usually solo. I will keep riding until it's literally impossible. it's good for the soul.
what are your shock/fork settings for you trails and how are you liking the bike?

So for some context fully geared up I'm ~230lbs. My shock is a push 11.6 with a 575lb spring and I'm using 10 clicks LSC/ 11 clicks HSC with 9 clicks of rebound (all from the fully closed position). My fork is a lyrik ultimate and I'm running 105 psi with 7 clicks LSC/ 2 clicks HSC & 11 clicks rebound (also from fully closed positions). I also usually run around 25 psi in my rear tire and 23 psi in my front tire, a bit less if it's wet out like this.
I'm really enjoying the Offering! It rides amazingly well. If I had two small gripes it would be the seat post insertion (I'm 6'6" and it's a bit too short to allow me to run a 210mm dropper) and there isn't much space inside the frame to strap stuff like a tube for longer rides.

@@lost_in_the_woods thx man. Do you ever feel like you wish you got the Wreckoning instead? Any limitations?

@@TheRicardoSanchez The current wreckoning, no. But once it gets the much rumoured refresh my opinion might change. For what it's worth, I bought a downhill bike so I wouldn't have to ride the offering at bike parks... but I don't think it was necessary.
