Convenience stores are just as convenient. But if you want to save money, I recommend going to the local supermarkets. Supermarkets are cheaper than 7-Eleven and Lawson and have a good selection.

    • @JackTorr
      @JackTorr  Год назад +2

I totally agree! Convenience stores are definitely convenient, but they can be a bit pricier than supermarkets. Supermarkets usually have a wider selection and lower prices, so they're a great option if you're looking to save money. Plus, shopping at a local supermarket can also be a great way to support your community. Thanks for the tip! I should have added it in!

Many foreign people can enjoy to visit to Japan in several times. Because there are many beautiful / old / high tech places in Japan to enjoy watching.
If you come to Japan again, I recommend to visit to Kyusyu, Okinawa, Shikoku, Tohoku, Hokkaido, Sanin-erea.
Kyushu : Onsen (hot springs), sand baths, land of imperial ancestors, and you can see villages from the Jomon and Yayoi periods. At the Hirabaru Ruins, you can see an ancient mirror of the same design as the Yatanokagami one of the three sacred objects of the imperial family. The horse meat is delicious. Kumamoto Castle is also beautiful. Hakata ramen. Motsu nabe. There is also the Hakata Yamakasa Festival.
Shikoku : You can make a pilgrimage and have a very spiritual experience. And there is a rumor that the Ark of the Covenant is on Mt. Tsurugi. The bonito is delicious. Tokushima ramen and udon are also available. For vegans, there is vegetable sushi. You can go river rafting by kayak and so on. You can also make udon noodles.
Okinawa : You can swim in the blue sea. It is warm even in winter. You can see rare private houses in Okinawa style. Shisa lions guard the roofs. You can see the war ruins of Himeyuri Tower. You can eat rare seaweed called umi budou. In addition, Okinawa soba (buckwheat noodles) is delicious. You may also visit an American military base.
Tohoku : If you miss the cherry blossoms in the first week of April, you can still see them in the second half of April if you go to Tohoku. You can see the beautiful scenery of Matsushima and you may be able to visit Aoba Castle. Beef tongue, Zundamochi, Kiritanpo hot pot, etc. are delicious. Famous Japanese beef brands such as Yonezawa beef and Sendai beef are available, and you can enjoy grilled beef, steak, shabu-shabu, and sukiyaki. In Sendai, you can enjoy the Tanabata Festival, and in Akita, you can meet a ghost called Namahage.
Hokkaido : You can enjoy skiing in winter. It is famous for its powder snow. Goryokaku, Abashiri Prison, and Lake Akan are some of the tourist attractions. In summer, you can enjoy lavender flowers. Crab, salmon roe, and salmon are delicious, and lamb is also delicious. In winter, there are snow festival and ice festivals.
San'in Region : It is a little cold in the west-northern part of Japan, but there are many fun things to do in winter. You can go skiing, and crab and yellowtail stews are delicious. In Tottori, you can enjoy the desert and there is a sand museum. In Ishikawa Prefecture, you can enjoy the Kyoto-style town of Kanazawa, where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and Kanazawa Yuzen. In Shimane Prefecture, you can visit Izumo-taisha, a very historic shrine. In Yamaguchi, you can see limestone caves. There are also several small towns that have been the setting for movies, so movie and anime fans can make the pilgrimage.
There are too many interesting places in Japan. I think you need to visit Japan 5- 10 times to complete!!

You can see space rocket in Tanegashima island. There is JAXA space center in this island.
And if you love cars, I recommend to visit Suzuka in Mie. You can enjoy F1 racing machines and other motor sports in Suzuka.

Thanks for sharing all these great recommendations for things to do and see in different regions of Japan. It definitely sounds like there's a lot to explore and discover in the country. I'm definitely planning on visiting Japan multiple times to check out all the different areas and try all the delicious food you mentioned. I'm especially excited to try the horse meat and crab in Hokkaido and the beef tongue in Tohoku. I'll have to start saving up for all these trips now!

The bullet trains are definitely a must-do - they're so fast and efficient, and it's such a unique experience to travel on one. Sadly, I've heard that the owls are mistreated in those cafes. I can't provide any evidence, but keeping the birds dehydrated so they don't mess on the guests is one anecdote I've heard.

The Tokyo Skytree is six times taller than the tower in Osaka, so it's pretty big.
Later in the video, you said that Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world, but did you know that from my comment?
