- Happy belated New Year, everybody! For my first video of 2021, Here is a clean version of the closing theme from “Edge of Night” used from 1983 until 1984 when the show went off the air. I put it altogether using the best sources I could find.

This song is so incredibly nostalgic to me. Soaps were my favorite childhood escapism. This one was exciting because it feel thematic yet realistic. It was as if Monticello was an actual location we could all visit. You could almost feel the excitement crackling on camera and through this theme.
Awesome theme! This theme and all it's versions were created by Jack Cortner who went on to create, "The World Turns On and On" in 1981.
