hi, i have a question.... are the Tyranids any good against the Space Marines in the Ultimate Starter Box??? All the Battle Reports i see are going in the favor of The SM . My son wants to play the SM and i might go with the nids. What are your thoughts on the Nids in 1oth edition??
I'm unable to answer that question since I barely play 40k except for painting. I only play Age Of Sigmar and can share my own view for that. But based on the meta rank per Oct 2024, Space Marines (Ultramarines) is at the 2nd bottom rank, while Tyranids at the Top 5.
How can this be a starter set if it does not have a Rule Book? I think the starter kit would be better if it had a 10 marine bolter squad. 5 marine assault squad with Rhino transport. 5 terminator marine squad. 50 Tyranids models. And a rule book. for $199.00. LOL :-P
The box includes the bases for the Termagants. I just didn't attach it for the purpose of painting later. And also there's 20 of them rather than only 10 which I assembled.

Hi, could you please explain what are those 2 mini balls for? I didn't have anything like that in my box. 🤔
Those are mixing balls you put inside the paint pot. I guess my local put it in there as bonus.
