I think it's important we take a moment to recognize the spooky zombified Kirk logo all October.
I want to play this so badly, but my laptop just can’t handle it. This is heartbreaking.
I didn't know there were any co-op/multiplayer components planned, that's great to hear. I will definitely pick this up.

Hexarchy this map is actually not as difficult as it may seem, problems can arise when there are many flying small blue enemies. ))))

I beat hexarchy blind on my second attempt with less than 20 health left. It was insanely tense and I loved it.
(For anyone wondering about my first attempt, I died on the first wave.)
I fucking love this game. This and amid evil are the best boomer shooters out
Have you played dusk? I slightly preferred dusk over amid evil although amid evil is fantastic too
@@BodybuildingSteve yeah dusk was okay. I thought it was a little over rated though. Enemies are bullet sponges

Tempted to buy but think campaign really needs to be bigger than it currently is.

I feel like the checkpoint system is the one thing that’s really holding this game back. It definitely makes dying feel like not a big consequence thus defeats any sort of challenge. I feel like if they fixed that, this game would be just as good as DUSK.
its annoying how this game along with aeon wrath of ruin, graven amid evil prequel and ashes 2063 after glow are delayed due to the pandemic. Devilated has been updated alot to a point that it plays different, maybe cover that game?
My thoughts exactly. Died 3 times on Hexarchy and gave up lmao. Playing on the hardest difficulty. I might lower it 1 or 2 levels maybe

I’m pretty critical about early access, but you would be doing a disservice to yourself by not getting the game ASAP.

Is this game ever coming to consoles?
I liked this game, but didn't love it. And I am so sad about that. I got halfway through, then was presented with a slew of maps that include my least favourite enemies (those glowing blue palate swaps) and I just got bored fighting them. I wanted more enemy variety and more of a step away from Doom.

People actually want to lose progress? WTF?
this game looks amazing but i refuse to buy this game with its current checkpoint system. what's the point in playing if you keep all your progress after you die. to any devs watching i will buy this if you put a more traditional checkpoint system in.
Less reloading? Or do the game devs still like interrupting the gameplay just because other games do it?
@@TDAOYT Reloading doesn't affect the skill curve in any way. Its just an animation that happens after you kill so many enemies. Its nothing more than a delay for the sake of "realism".
The checkpoint system is >part< of the old school feel and I don't understand how you can praise it for recapturing all the OG cool while hating on the checkpoints. It's a >progress< saving thing.....why would you want all your progress cleared if you legit made it to a checkpoint?? Makes zero sense dude.
Also, you didn't really go into the music much.
Quicksave is oldschool not checkpoints :p
@@purelucknoskill5158 have to agree there. It's part of the reason I'm not a big fan of the new doom. Because to me DOOM is creeping up to a corner and quick saving because you have 27hp, five shot shells, no armor.....and are only a third of the way into the level :P Not the ADHD splashgasm that games are now days.
