Prodeus has finally come to early access and while the first chunk of it's campaign is an absolute blast it's likely many of you will be itching for more retro fps carnage. That's where the Prodeus user maps come in. Made possible by the prodeus level editor the creative shooters out there have already upload many excellent and original maps for us to enjoy.
In this video I'll be featuring some of my favorites so far, everything from Doom recreations to truck surfing. Be sure to let me know if you enjoy this video and I'll happily make a follow up especially as the Prodeus community becomes more comfortable with the level editor. Also if there are some maps you really enjoyed and think I should check out be sure to let me know.
Prodeus was developed by Bounding Box Software and published by Humble Games. It is currently available in early access through Steam and GOG and is slated for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

Hey everybody! Obviously it's been a crazy week and its looking like its going to be crazier weekend. Hopefully this vid can be a good distraction for you and gets you checking out some of the amazing work the Prodeus community is producing with its level editor. If there's a good response to this video I'll happily make a follow up and please be sure to give me some recommendations for levels you think I should check out.
Also next week, I won't have a video on Thursday as that will be thanksgiving but I'll have something sneak into Friday 😉

Blown away that something like Truck Surfer is even possible. Very high hopes for the long tail on this game.

I'm thoroughly impressed by how flexible the level editor is in this game. And I really like this type of video for shouting out some cool people and cool creations they do here, here's hoping some of them get hired as designers at one point. And here's hoping I get the moolah to actually buy this game lol

I asked for Prodeus for Christmas - once I've installed it, my community go-to's will be Thermal, Cold Storage (which isn't on this list), and Transit.
I can't wait to breathe Prodeus' gleeful life into my own map and campaign ideas.

Not just that, the actual game's in early access rn, so whatever we see now is probably only a portion of the map editors power

Did you tried Cold Storage ? It's one of the early maps that poped out from the community during the alpha. I really enjoyed that one.

You should Check out the maps by danpi8. Just overall solid linear levels imo. Ancient Evil and the ship one specifically.
