A query though, when u say different shot types 2:57, it means the director or the camera man has to shoot these from different angles first, meaning the editor has to have all these mixed footage of various angles ready.., before he decides to take a tight shot after a far shot... right?
Yes, I'd say the director tells the camera man from where he should shoot. If you are in the lucky position to have two camera men that shoot the scenes synchronously, you can choose between them in your edit. In my case, I shoot one scene after another and take care that I follow the 30 degree rule.
