Still listening in 2024!🤘🏼🙏🏼♥️ My younger brother passed away at the age of 38 back in Jan of 2018 from an accidental Fentanyl overdose & it still feels like yesterday when I received the news. He was a huge Creed fan & infact always played With Arms Wide Open for his daughter. He became a daddy in 2002 at the age of 22. When he passed away his daughter was still 15 years old. She now is about to give birth to her 1st born son this month at the age of 21. I know my brother will always be watching over his daughter & grandson from heaven up above! We all love you Stevie! Rest in Paradise 😇🙏🏼✝️
In 1998 I Listened and related to this tune when it came out. Tomorrow I go into psychiatric treatment for depression and suicidal behavior. This song still resonates to me as a 40 year old. This shit still gives me hope and Goosebumps
Justin Titus Courage my friend! This life is too short and the meaning is too big for us to grasp but still there is the beauty of the moment - embrace it!
My thoughts are with you brother. I'm a suicide survivor, 49 years old and I was 21 when I hung myself. I promise you my friend, I regret it and am glad to be here today. My life has always been a roller coaster ride, i walked away from my family for self preservation and I lost my mom just after Christmas this year and she was the last family I cared about. I could go on and on.... it's been a pretty tough 5 years or so, and I wanted to quit, who knows, coronavirus could be my end, I'm at risk for it..... but I'm more afraid to die these days :-) reality is, now that I gave purpose......I can't leave but if I do, I'm at peace. BUT, If I can be here and do this, so can you!! So get through what you've got to get through right now, get the help you need and then come back out and spread love and get love in return. Find your purpose my friend, I myself help others through their tough times..... let's you know your not alone but also feels good to help someone else feel good. It could be as simple as stopping to ask someone broke down if they need help, or mowing the elderly neighbor's lawn, or whatever you're able to handle.... it helps your feel goods. Just don't give up on yourself. We're all here for a reason, don't stop.

We all live under the reign of one king Jesus Christ. "I would feel a connection with God when I wrote the words and then when I would sing the songs, learning the songs, I would feel the Holy Spirit," said Stapp in a 2013 interview.
When I first got out of school I had really bad depression. Moved to a new city and bought one of the creed cds. Loved it because all the songs described how I was feeling. I love that although I'm not sure which members of the band were christians that in those days christian themed bands could be mainstream. Recently looked up what they were doing and saw that scott had drug addictions and mental illness. Saddens me because not having the internet I really looked up to them for writting such profound lyrics but everyone has their own struggles.
@Jeff Carlin Sure you do, bud. You see, George Carlin thought the same way, until he passed away. I can pretty much guarantee you he now believes in God. The same way you will when your time is up, too.
@Jeff Carlin I don't find that to be an extraordinary claim, at all. Have you ever really stopped to think about how it is that you and everything you know came into existence? Have you ever really thought about how it's at all possible for life to come from non-life, or consciousness to come from non-consciousness? I think it's more of an extraordinary claim to say that we and everything we know exist because nothing decided to be something for no reason and somehow formed conscious, intelligent life from non-living matter. I believe, ultimately, it's actually more logical to believe in the Creator God then not. The truth is, evidence of God is all around us. But if that doesn't qualify as good enough empirical evidence for you, then the next best thing I can think of to point you toward would be the *Shroud of Turin,* which is the most studied object/artifact in the world for a reason. The Shroud of Turin is authentic physical evidence of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as far as I'm concerned. The Shroud and all if it's properties has baffled experts for many years, and even the critics will admit that they have no idea how it could've been created by normal, natural means. They're unable to replicate it and all of it's properties. If you want to see a very poor (and humorous) attempt at disproving the Shroud, look up a video on here titled *'How to Fake the Shroud of Turin'* by the Smithsonian channel. And if you care to watch a good, short, 40+ minute presentation on the authenticity of the Shroud by a Shroud expert, then look up a video titled *'The Miraculous Shroud of Turin: Evidence for Jesus'.* That's a good Shroud video full of facts on the Shroud to get you started, IF you care to. You asked me for evidence and there it is. It's up to you whether or not you choose to really look into it and accept it.

Jesus is coming (Rapture)...then the rain & the horrific.Beautiful vocals & music, praying for Creeds salvation in JESUS CHRIST'S NAME-GOD ALMIGHTY!❤❤❤
Good day beautiful friends. That means ALL of you. I start my morning with prayer and immediately music. I love music as it inspires me and sets the tone for the day. Today I chose this particular song. Many years ago I was at my rock bottom. The bridges were burnt and the phone calls nobody would answer. I could of felt sorry for myself but at this time I finally pursued Christ. I use to hate this band and I never knew why (satan). Then one day in my despair I listened to the lyrics. I then listened to every Creed song after that and until today 2020. It was that moment at rock bottom I asked myself "What's my life for"? God created me for His glory. Then that means my life must have meaning. Purpose! What was my purpose? Where do I begin? So then the journey began...I was shown what it was like to help other people and to stop thinking about myself. That day I died to self and woke up to self worth. My spiritual journey began. I know my purpose. I know exactly what my life's for today. Do you? Do you know God loves you so much He has work for you to do on His behalf. If you don't know where to start then start everyday on your knees saying thank you and go help someone else and stop worrying about me,me,me, I,I,I. Get rid of self. It's not about you. Never forget that. Now go get yourself some purpose! Quit with the poor me's and rise up and trust God.
The hate came from everywhere, people didn’t like them cause scott’s similarities to eddy’s vocals …other cause they were too pop for true rockers , others cause they just like to hate … I never hated them , this song hit me i. The soul the first time I heard of it back in HS

What’s this life for? Something I pretty much ask myself everyday. I’ve learned not to dwell on this question too much, cause when I do, I’m taken to a very dark place. It’s comforting to hear I’m not alone in this. Beautiful song 🙋🏻♀️👍🏼🙌🏼👌🏼💜🇨🇦

@@waynefilkins8394 I agree, Mark was an absolute powerhouse. The band as a whole was very talented but as a guitarist I have to favor Tremonti. It's nice to hear him really shred on some tracks with Alter Bridge.
Check out Alter Bridge same band with new singer and maybe a little better.
I hope they and Their's remained Blessed, and continue.
SO sorry. MAY our Lord embrace him as a Friend..
Yup. Love it
Rest In Paradise ❤❤
Amen and with arms wide open 😇
In 1998 I Listened and related to this tune when it came out. Tomorrow I go into psychiatric treatment for depression and suicidal behavior. This song still resonates to me as a 40 year old. This shit still gives me hope and Goosebumps
Justin Titus Courage my friend! This life is too short and the meaning is too big for us to grasp but still there is the beauty of the moment - embrace it!
you are brave and loved. just give your self time to do whatever you like.
I wish the best for you brother
And remember your soul is precious to your family and the lord Jehovah
I'm 41, been through 20 years of opioid and benzo addiction w many trips to psych wards, I broke free 4 years ago. ur gonna make it brother....
20 some years later and I can still cry and get touched hard by this band! My oldest son is 20 and grew up on this and alot of great ones from that time frame. ❤
Hello how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here
Everytime I hear this song and the part he says I see your soul it’s kinda grey makes me feel like me what I go through every day as a Christian preacher people laugh at me and call me names and I’m trying to help people with depression and suicidal thoughts and there souls being lost 😔 Rest In Peace to all those people that died to suicide or bullying that made them end it I hope everyone has a great day or whatever it is for everyone I love you all amazing people and I hope everyone never gives up keep going Jesus is there for you and he’s never left your side amen 🙏
thank you god be with you and yours
Amen. If it weren't for my Saviour, I would have died in my sin a long time ago.
why u have a halloween photo, God bless brother
Can you imagine a Rock Band Singing a song about Jesus being the "One King" today...This was 25 years ago. That's how far we have fallen.
Fuck, the first four lines would get you cancelled today.
Amen brother this country has changed so much. Creed is the shining light in the music industry.
Dark days we are living no one is coming to save us we must join together and save ourselves
Idk him using gods name in vain many times doest seem like a Christian
Literally mainstream artists like Kanye singing about god and creed isn’t a Christian band they literally said “goddam score”
"What's This Life For?"
Hurray for a child
That makes it through
If there's any way
Because the answer lies in you
They're laid to rest
Before they've known just what to do
Their souls are lost
Because they could never find
What's this life for
I see your soul, it's kind of gray
You see my heart, you look away
You see my wrist, I know your pain
I know your purpose on your plane
Don't say a last prayer
Because you could never find
What's this life for
But they ain't here anymore
Don't have to settle the score
Cause we all live
Under the reign of one king
But they ain't here anymore,
Don't have to settle no Goddamn score
'Cause we all live under the reign,
I said, you know, of
One king
But they ain't here anymore,
Don't have to settle no Goddamn score
'Cause we all live under the reign
I said, you know, of
One king
But they ain't here anymore,
Don't have to settle no Goddamn score
Cause we all live under the reign
Of one king
The fact he still added Christian lyrics without his band members knowing what he was writing about is classic .
I was surprised that they played Creed on rock stations when it was obviously Christian rock music.
Stapp and Tremonti wrote all the songs
I wouldn’t say classic, I would say dishonest
@@zacparker8681bro, they have great lyrics and the band members approved at the time. You think sheet was just coincidence...you sound multiple vaxxed
@@andyirons7162 lol okay mate, you certainly sound Christian.
Love this one. Still an over & over. The melody of the chorus can bring tears. What's this life for? One King as the song says.🎼
35 year old male struggling with alcoholism.. single father with 2 boys who are my world. I always saw creed when In was younger as "just another band" boy was I wrong. My kids will never see my struggle on my terms, but I'm sure they see it on theirs. Anyone out there struggling, I have so much love for you, and those that don't, just as much love. What's this life for? We are in it together
One band I wish would have lasted longer...such great lyrics
This song came out when I was a young man with my whole life ahead of me. Today, I am middle aged and still love this song and band. To me they're a soundtrack to my life. Maybe it's because I am a Gen X kid Maybe it's because music had such an impact on my life. Something that was always there to lift my spirits when I was on a lower frequency. I think it's different for everyone but for me anyway it was an escape to something better.

Saudades dessa banda na época do ensino médio 😍😔
Creed helped me get through so much in my childhood. Whenever I was depressed or anxious or suicidal, I would always listen to them on full volume and just drift away.
Same here! ♥
Happy you made it, and your here..
Ryan wolf sorry you been through so much 😢 if want to talk hit me up

How this video doesn't have hundreds of millions of views is a tragedy. Definitely one of Creeds best songs
My exact thoughts, sht songs out there with 1 billion yet here this has as many as the videos my kids watch about a video game ffs
The band was hugely unplayed and appreciated !!👍👌
Def one of my favorite. But look up my sacrifice arms wide open or my own prison
@@garypino1268 That was my point, they do and this doesn't have that many views. Ppl are sleeping on this song.
Stapp has really got his shit together it seems. Seemed pretty chill on the Theo von podcast
I remember listening to this when I was like 14/15 years old.. now at 30 I reminisce of those years. Such a great song. Music is beautiful
i love creed man.. all their songs have alot of deep meaning and its like spiritually uplifting and refreshing to listen to.. Music is by far the most powerful spiritually driven force on this planet that EVERYONE can somehow relate to...
*a lot
Music and Film.
Two things in this world people can take something out of. Doesn’t matter the genre.
Life goes fast live and enjoy the music 🤘🏽❣️
I love Creed. I was pregnant when this album came out. My boy listens to your music now. You guys are perfect!
This songs has true blue meaning in my book. Religious or not, Good music is Good music
I so agree!
its not about religion, but faith,2 different ends
2024 anyone? Keep rocking in this life 🤘🏾
Life is meant for living ……
Yep sure do
Just saw them last night and they played this song. Great show!
I just saw them last night and they rocked this song!
At least 3 times a week! There will always be a creed and three doors down album in the cd player lol Also three days grace back when Adam gontier sang with them
I remember back in the early 2000's I drove into my house hearing this song on the radio. I was in a deep depression and this song hit my heart. 15 odd years later, I know the king we live under and I know what this life is for and this song kicked off that journey and I'm now helping others find what this life is for.
You drove into ur house? What was going through your head at the time may I ask...
I can relate just wanted 2 know why that seemed like a good idea instead of drinking some ice water and chilling out listen to music instead.
Are u ok tonight? glad to talk
God bless brethren
God bless you
Damn, this song is really deep.
Im in my 50s and lived a life of hell mostly my own bad decisions but hearing music like this makes me fight harder. Ive come close a few times
Creed is forever. My mom put me on to this band when I was a kid and now as a man I truly appreciate and understand it now .
Amo o Creed essa banda lendária do rock, uma das melhores bandas da atualidade, quem está ouvindo agora esse hino do fenômeno Creed nessa quarentena de um like!!! Amo💝💝💝😫😫😫
Best band ever . ! I don’t care what anyone thinks. Its too bad the way they were treated in the end and the way they broke up was horrible but still ...gift from god to listen to.
That's your opinion and is respectable. In my point of view they're not even close.
@ryckak Listening one song that reminds me good old days without fanaticism and the free will of enjoy music above other things, knowing that, as i say before, they're not the best band but they have some good songs (In my opinion, you can have yours and it's totally fine).
Y
Can a song touch your soul? yes, Creed can do it.
love it
Absolutely fucking right
Such deep meanings, that resinate in many people’s thoughts and emotions. Hard. Feelings. Life. Searching. Fitting in. Outsiders. Highly charged music to fill your soul listening to it. ♥️
See my wrist..i know your pain..I know the pupose of your claim...Dont have to settle no gotdamn score..💓 my fave.lines from this song
I miss these times so much. 90's and 2000's. Brings me so much memories with my family. Music was better, a lot of things were. I miss it more simple. I miss decades that were so revolved around narcissistic fake social media like the 2010's and 2020's and so on. I know no time was perfect but just saying. Time machine needed.
🙌
Ur sure right girl
Same here.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS.
100% true!
creed helped me through a lot of heavy shit in my life.
Alot of people say that. including me. Creed inside us all brought me thru a 5 month sentence in jail. On Facebook there are sooooo many hate groups for scott stapps himself. i just say thank you creed. and yeah in 2017 theyre supposed to reunite.
Curt McClintock like when your dad found out you were gay cause he caught you listening to creed?
you can hate D Lee, you're probably a Beiber fan. My mother had just passed when this song came out.
Curt McClintock your ALWAYS going to have some thumbdick smartass making comments online. Hell, I'm 51 now, and none of this crybabies would do it to my face, online commenting is to easy, and there are WAY to many smartasses with terrible attitudes online...Don't worry bout it...notice he's on a Creed video comment area beating down Creed fans...that'll let you know his level of mental stability level...

Don't have to settle the settle the score cuz we all live under the reign of One King. This band hit me right away
When you lose your sister, in the most tragic events ever, I come here. I know where she is, and I thank you Jesus...but my flesh has melted watching my Mother lose the will to live, every day.
I'm so sorry for your loss
God. How she is doing?
@leo__1682 Every night we talk, she cries. The pain I feel for her and our family never stops. She's on 3 meds, 2 grief groups. I can't even say I know how you feel. We all live under the reign of one king Jesus Christ. "I would feel a connection with God when I wrote the words and then when I would sing the songs, learning the songs, I would feel the Holy Spirit," said Stapp in a 2013 interview.
Wasn’t he ostracized by them because of his “goddamn” lyric?
Awesome I knew it that is great Praise the King Jesus

That's my brother's age, we recently lost a cousin under the same circumstances. He was 23😢 You're big cousin will always love you Haroo😔
what do you do you when you are in so much pain and can't make it stop?
Era uma época que se existia músicas boas , Creed não pode faltar na minha playlist .
We all live under reign of one King.
@Jeff Carlin ALL.
@Jeff Carlin
Sure you do, bud. You see, George Carlin thought the same way, until he passed away. I can pretty much guarantee you he now believes in God. The same way you will when your time is up, too.
@Jeff Carlin
You'll find out.
@Jeff Carlin
What type of evidence are you looking for, exactly?
@Jeff Carlin
I don't find that to be an extraordinary claim, at all.
Creed helped me through the worst of my teen angsty mess after my parents divorced. I'm 35 now and this song still resonates with me.
I think we all still ask this question.
When you've been diagnosed epileptic, bipolar, have manic episodes so badly you juet wanna throw in the towel, and the Dr's are just a waste of time you go back to creed when music had a effin meaning.... So
Thank you creed your probably one of the only reason I'm still here at 33 goin on 34
Jesus is coming (Rapture)...then the rain & the horrific.Beautiful vocals & music, praying for Creeds salvation in JESUS CHRIST'S NAME-GOD ALMIGHTY!❤❤❤

I can't think of any more words sorry
This is such an underrated song.
It's an epic song
Absolutely

This is my favourite song by creed
I seriously can't understand why so many people hate Creed. their music is outstanding
Because their music is Christian inspired. Easier to hate. People tend to embrace evil.
Glad I was never on the anti-Creed band wagon. Especially now that they’re making a come back haha
The hate came from everywhere, people didn’t like them cause scott’s similarities to eddy’s vocals …other cause they were too pop for true rockers , others cause they just like to hate … I never hated them , this song hit me i. The soul the first time I heard of it back in HS
It’s because they don’t get life, which is a large majority of people unfortunately
They hate Creed because they hate Christians. Same as why they hate Trump. Anything good or positive they hate. The industry is evil
Vou ouvir até que a morte me separe desta vida, creed hoje, que amanhã, creed sempre. Ainda bem que nasci tendo o melhor gosto musical do planeta, sem rock eu não sei o que eu me tornaria.
Top melhor banda de Rock

Good taste in music has no color.
And u have a wonderful soul God bless you and your family.
I'm going through a bad thing at the moment .when I play creed it helps me .I don't care if people don't like this band they rock
As Christians you should forgive. Like this man.
Easy to say if you haven't had it touch you.
I can forgive alot, but some things I will NEVER.
I've made my peace with the Lord, and hope HE can forgive me.

I grew up with this band and I'm 50 yrs old and still live them like the first day I ever heard them.
Creed started in 1994, though. I think you would've already been grown up at that point if you're in your 50's in 2022.
Love Scott's voice...
i had a horrible 4 years in high school couldnt live at home and went through pne oof the worst heataches in my life just a coupple of weeks ago their songs always helped me get through it
As an ex-evangelical, I'm finding Creed's music a great comfort, as I can't listen to most CCM anymore. This is the music I listened to before they sucked me in, and I'm glad to have it now.
Abused, used, tortured, too young, alone, exhausted, over worked, underpaid, Mom dying of brain cancer, pregnant, abandoned, betrayed and all alone.... so I thought.. over 20 years later I'm still here breathing, living, loving, laughing, thriving and grateful
