Its Stuart Fillinghams bike I saw one of these at Appleyards was seriously unimpressed with the finish and look of the engine case and covers. However hope you enjoy the big single
Pity i didn't know you wanted a Gold Star I've been trying to swop mine for months. Due to a heart attack it's only got 690 miles on the clock and has uprated rear Tec shocks on it.. Even the distributor i bought it from doesn't want it, mind you he did stop selling them in January this year because BSA messed him about.
Cobb & Jagger in Shipley have stopped selling BSA motorcycles, I tried one out there earlier this year, I got a better deal from Eddy's in Tadcaster, so I bought my Gold Star Legacy Edition from them.
Nice choice Dave, my local bike shop [where my mate/mechanic works] are BSA dealers and I've sat on one but refused a test ride because I'm pretty sure I'll want one if I do... Great value at £4999 now too [as cheap as the new Guerilla but more bike for the money].
Nice MC Dave, enjoy. I guessed the correct MC but not in that Highland Green colour that was discounted. I test rode one recently and loved it, and preferred that colour. Then I test rode the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Special, having never ridden a M-Guzzi in all my years of motorcycling, and bought one immediately, the standard model in Red Rosso Roventi. 😎
Really chuffed for you Dave, i think youll enjoy this and i suspect the viewers will to. They are great buy now at £4999, as someone said same as the Guerrilla but with more punch and a less revvy power... 😊
@@thebingleywheeler Hi Dave, l'm sure like other dealers Cobb & Jagger were selling off their remaining BSA's and ditching the brand due to issues with BSA, although the warranty was still covered. It's still a good MC for the money, and the issues with the MC, the remap and headlight clip have apparently been sorted.
Great choice Dave. Looks fantastic. Literally just got back from Masham where we were discussing the very same bike. If you’re not sticking with the stock tyres, do let me know😉😂
@@thebingleywheelerGood idea. Sean, the "Mindful Motorcyclist," had a front-end spill on his BSA earlier this year. Despite his bike being new in late 2023, his rear tyre was made in China in 2021 and, shockingly, the front was from Indonesia dated 2019 and showing visible cracking.
@luddite6239 could I make a quick correction, I bought mine secondhand it was originally a Feb 23 registered bike. I don't want to scare Dave unnecessary 😅
@@thebingleywheeler Now , Now Dave , We both know there is ALWAYS room..... !! 🤣😂 Congrats on the new ride , Looking forward to seeing how things go.😊 We don`t have them here in Aus` but they are available over home in NZ.
Aha I knew it I knew it but the question is who guessed first and won the prize and is the prize a choice of one of your other bikes 😜 carry on that man Caio for now tat ta 👍🏻
@@thebingleywheeler There are very degrees of authenticity.....dealers are not taking these bikes in px. Good luck to private sellers trying to move them on with the the new cost down to way less than 5k after being nearly £7k. I like your channel & l like your musings but l can't not tell what l see is the truth. If people buy these for nostalgic reasons are just for the looks, great, but they've got to know they are going to have to keep them long, long term.
Beautiful bike, I am anxious to see how you get along with it. Congratulations and safe rides!

Brilliant choice.
Really looking forward to your first rides on the new Goldie.

Looking forward to your vlogs on this, it's one of my favourite bikes!
Nice choice, look forward to your travels 👍
Excellent choice. I was disappointed to learn they are not available in the States. Maybe someday….🧐

Wouldn't be in the Kidderminster area by any chance?
Looking forward to your reviews on this bike, Followed by a comparsion to your other bikes, bfn, mike
Yours may be the first that l actually see on the road, l am only 5 mins away from the dealer at Shipley & l've yet to see one!
I was spot on, mmmm!! Not onboard with this one worse than an Indian Rolex. We are all different, I Just don't get it. But enjoy ✌️
Lovely looking bike , had a ride out to Taddy in the summer to look at 1 myself , maybe my next bike .
Fantastic value for money to boot .
Enjoy .
Nice one Dave, looking forward to your vlogs on this bike. This bike has grown on me so maybe, possibly it might get added to my stable😁😁😁😁
Superb, this is on my list to investigate, I'll let you introduce me to it! Cheers!

welcome to the family Dave i thought you might go for the BSA congratulations !!
Great stuff , I've wanted a test ride on one of these for a while , 👍
Haha, nice reveal, Dave! I reckon you're going to enjoy the Goldie! 👍
Brilliant Dave a very good choice mate
Well, that's a surprise! Congrats!
Very nice indeed - just beware that a cuppa down at the Ace Café isn't a 'tanner' anymore . . .
I am slightly disappointed another BSA i guess its better than yet another Royal Enfield on channels.

Well, 500 miles in and I've still got the Guzzi grin. 👍

Well I didn’t see that coming..! Can’t wait to see how you get on with it. 👍
Bugger me! If you got that from Eddys that would have been mine, I got the 350 Classic instead.
No Cobb & Jagger

@stephenc6503 I’m sure they were but at £2000 off I’ll take the punt 😎👍🏻
Good choice sir
thats a very strange looking puch maxi 🤔
Now who would have expected that. Congrats fella. I like it more than the interceptor 650.
Looking forward to some vids on your new bike. 🎉👍🏿
good call 🎉 great bike !!
I was righr mate, nice choice. Enloy👏😎
Congratulations sir! Enjoy!🎉
I think little Norman needs to be worried about being pushed out by big Norman 😅
Worry worry sry. I hope you get lucky.
(I have just watched Moto Tingle's video on the depreciation and troubles with these)
Yaaay, I got it right. The recent discounts make them hard to resist.
Brilliant.
Well done. A great choice 👍👍👍
😎😎😎
As "a new bike for the channel" I did expect something totally different, nevertheless enjoy it mate
Aha! I did momentarily wonder but then dismissed the notion. Very nice; that's my next, (last), bike methinks.
Ooh! Nice. You'll have to share tips with Sean, "The Mindful Motorcyclist"!
Yes he’s got a cracking channel there

Royal Enfield aren’t Royal Enfield….they’re Eischer, Triumph aren’t triumph…they’re Bloor Holdings, Norton aren’t Norton they’re TVS India…..😂😂😂
