I found out about my severe vitamin D deficiency in March and in two months my levels went upto 33 ng from 7. I am aiming for 55ng.I started with 4K IU of d3 then went on to 10k IU along with magnesium, fish oil,Vit k2. It was life changing! I also had to correct my severe B12 and iron deficiency with shots and infusions respectively.I took a zinc + b complex capsule too. I also made some dietary changes by limiting dairy, gluten and sugar. I am a different person now. I used to have extreme hair fall, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, poor balance, bone pain, weak teeth, numbness in my toes, lack of concentration , poor memory, depression, anxiety and brain fog. My career, social life, relationships everything was suffering for so many years. I feel like over 75% of my problems are gone. It didn’t take too long, only a few months for this entire transformation. Please do not ignore nutritional deficiencies . I hope this helps people 🙏🏼
My mood also got better almost instantly after taking vit d! I thought it could’ve just been a placebo, until I randomly started feeling ‘gloomy’ & a lot more tired then remembered I hadn’t actually taken the supplements in a while. Thank you so much for the last video.. I took vitamin D 50000 after watching it.. once a week for a month.. my Vitamin d increased A Lot. I'm noticing my hair and it GROWS so fast and instead of 1 hair I got almost 4 😍 in 6 weeks from the first tablet. I appreciate what you published. MANY THANKS from Kuwait! ❤️
Be careful with high dose of Vitamin D supplementation. It can can cause vitamin D toxicity, low magnesium, high calcium in blood and many more bad health risks.
My doctor said I’m vitamin D deficient as well.. but I honestly didn’t care to take it.. The past 3 years my hair was so dry and brittle. My crown area especially started getting extremely short, thinning & kept breaking and i didn’t know what was going on with me. I tried so many different hair growth oils and hair products but nothing worked! Then I started noticing how tired I was throughout the day especially around 2pm. I got lots of headaches and felt stressed out also... I finally understand watching your video. I purchased vitamin D from target today so I’m going to take one a day and see if it works but I really having a feeling that the taking them is what I need. I wish my doctor could’ve explained why I should take it and then I guess I would’ve taken it seriously sooner.

Its so easy to miss this as well. I spent years feeling worse and worse, symptoms including major fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, hair loss, muscle and bone pain, lowered immune system, inability to lose weight, vertigo. I thought it was just because I was old/fat/unfit/etc but finally went to the GP after my dentist told me I had loose teeth, oral thrush and low bone density! Currently taking 50000iu a week and Im finally starting to feel more like 'myself' 4 weeks in. It might take a while to get back to normal but at least I know its a solvable problem! (if you are taking vit D, remember to look into vit k2 and magnesium as well as they help the absorption and distribution).
I got blood test and it was 8 ng/ml lol One third of my hair is gone. Some rude girls always telling me how empty my hairline is. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I hope it will get better
I have ibs and am deficient in multiple vitamins . I went 3 years without getting bloodwork done which I think a lot of us do . But vitamins are so important for our health I’m making it a think to get my vitamins checked twice a year now ! Glad you’re doing well :)
Same! Started taking it to help heal after I sprained my ankle and I felt amazing the next day!! Like super positive and highly favored! This is great for anyone with depression!! I absolutely love it and noticed my stomach went down and that was only after 1 week!
@@DenieHintonHomes I researched the fat loss also. Apparently when our D3 levels are low, the body thinks that it is winter and stores more bodyfat. The opposite is true when your levels are high the body thinks it is getting plenty of sunshine like in summer and no need to store the extra bodyfat.
Mine after covid was 12.5 (and iron slightly low as well)... i went under treatment of 50.000iu once a week for 6 weeks, iron supplements daily, and now at week 4 im noticing huge improvements. i was depressed, anxious (which i've never been), tired all day along and at a moment i thought i was gonna die. im glad my doctor prescribed me a full blood exam and found out that deficiency
I was low as 12.5 for 6months and thought i had long covid with weird symptoms, just 2 weeks ago i after blood tests then i found out I'm vit d deficient. I would not wish this to my worst enemy 😤.
Did the anxiety go away? I never had anxiety and my level was 16.8 2 month as ago and now I’m at 50, but I still have anxiety. Not as bad but I still have it. Do you still have anxiety?
I have the same story ! I had a panic attack July 28fh following anxiety ( shock I never had ) ! Thought it was a weed induced panic attack ! Completely stopped smoking and occasionally drinking ! A month after that I knew it was something wrong ! Went to the er they gave me something for Anxiety which I stopped taking ! Went to the ER again and asked them to give me a blood test because I don’t feel like myself ! Come to find out my Iron was slightly low following vitamin S deficiency . I was at 19 and supposed to be 40 or above ! Thank his I Advocated for myself and figured it out 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Also, taking Vitamin D, iron and vitamin C together at once boosts the absorption of each other as they are all cofactors of each other. My hair has grown two inches in four weeks from this combo. Please everyone, have your doctors check your vitamin D3 levels on your next visit as Vitamin D3 isn’t normally part of the routine check, you must request it. This has helped me so much. Hope this info helps you all and please subscribe!🙂🙃
I was feeling sluggish as hell a few weeks after I stopped vit D. Thanks for sharing your story. Just started getting it back as it helps to prevent covid 19. It can save your lives folks.
Wow such a sweet honest girl. I have anxiety too. I also went to therapy for it. I recently went on vitamin d because of its affects on men's testosterone no joke in two weeks I'm losing weight and feel happier and less anxious.
I didn't have noticeable hair loss/thinning (I have quite a lot of hair) but found out I had Vit D deficiency and started taking supplements (1000IU daily) about 8 months ago... and wow. I have so much new hair growth, particularly around the crown of my head and around my hairline. It's all about 10-15cm long and is driving me crazy - it is short, curly and very flyaway. I didn't even know that Vit D was related to hair loss, so was initially really worried that the new short hairs and might be breakage - all magically breaking at the same length all over my head. Anyway, have now discovered my increased Vit D levels are likely the cause - although nothing is confirmed medically. Anyway, if you are low in Vit D and have thin hair or hair-loss concerns, try taking the supplement (after consultation with a doctor of course). Just be prepared for the many MANY new short hairs to potentially spring from your head!
@@caradeferranti1474 Oh are you the same person? Me too last time I checked it was at 25, I haven't checked again since then due to the current situation, you know. I've been taking my vitamin D with K2 for almost 4 months and also getting sunlight.
There was a doctor/politician on cspan urging everyone to be serious about their Vitamin D levels, mainly to look after the immune system , cuz of COVID and stuff. He then went on to say that one of Faucis friends , and older gentleman who’s a highly regarded doctor takes 6000 IUs of D3 daily. Oh! He also made a point to stress the importance of starting now because the body will not be able to utilize the d3 you take today until four months from now.
Hi just some information. I do hari mineral analysis, meaning I have a lab test hair and I read and advise on the report. Vitamin D Is mainly about calcium. when you are low on vitamin D you may be low in calcium in the cells. Calcium is ratiod to magnesium. Calcium is used for muscle contraction and cell signaling. Magnesium is used for muscle relaxing. Also vitmain D is used as an immune system modulator. If at the present time a person has a virus, it will help tokeep it in suspention, or regulate its severity, just some info
Calcium is absorbed with the help of vitaminD. Vitamin D is a hormone that our body absorbs from the sun. Every cell in our body has a VitD receptor. If you want to learn correct information about VitD look up Dr. Michael Holick.
Curiosity and wanting to improve my hair led me to watch your vid.Glad your hair has improved with vitamin D and less stress and anxiety. Will go get some vit D's 👏🏽👏🏽

For some reason my teeth is not white anymore and now kind of yellow since having low vitamin D for years. Has anyone else experienced this with low vitamin D? And if so, were you able to fix the problem?
The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat diet and microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related RUclips presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction. Just found out I was Vitamin D deficient! I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, too. (: Thank you for this video. I have to check with my doctor about what our treatment plan is.
I found out yesterday that I’m deficient! My doctor prescribed 15,000 IU once a week for 12 weeks, because I let her know I’ll also be taking a hair supplement daily that has 800 IU. My B12 and ferritin are on the lower end too. I’m so thrilled to know exactly how to fix my hair loss. It’s been about three years.
My major symptoms are tiredness my heart will just pound in my chest all the time lightheadedness memory problems feel like I'm going to pass out. Extreme anxiety like impending doom feeling all the time
Hi. I found your channel after looking up vitamin d deficiencies. I had a blood test done recently and it showed that I am at 7ng. I got some vitamin d3 ASAP. I live in Alaska, and it’s so hard to get sunlight.

I had my scalp peeled back while I brushed it over lapping over it self. Dermatologist said it was dandruff and use head and shoulders shampoo. I visited a chiropractor and he asked me what m6 vitamin D. Level was? The VA for years would call after my physical and tell me I was vitamin D. Deficent. I worked outdoor in the summer and getting a lot of sun. I asked my family practitioner to run lads on my vitamin D and they were low. So I'm on 2000 ui a day since February 2020. I found your site and you have given me a little bit of hope my hair will grow back. I had a healthy and thick hair before this happened. My hair grew back after chemotherapy five years ago. So I have some faith.

Hi Layan. I can so much relate to your previous video. Same happened to me maybe a month ago or so, I have never seen my hair fall out in amount like for the past few weeks. My mum forced me to go to my doc and get my blood tests done. Came out on the test that my value of D2/D3 vitamin level is 18 nmol/l and is actually supposed to be between 50-140 nmol/L. The way my doc has explained me, terrified me so much. I have now started taking supplements, super strong, once a week, for 6 weeks and then again need to get blood test done. I recommend everyone to get their blood test done every once a while. This is the first week me taking these supplements and I am trying so very hard to stay positive... its such a horrible feeling!
Hi Nadja thank you so much for sharing your story. I know how discouraging it can be but you are on the path to recovery! Just be patient and you will see a difference :)

And my vitamin d level is 12... I have not visited the doctor after the test.. will be visiting him.... but can my chest pain and other pain all around my body and specially my wrist and my feet can be a sign of vitamin d deficiency... Can vitamin d deficiency at a level of 12 be so severe
I used to take 50,000 IU per week! I was so deficient and my vitamin D3 level was at 11, and the normal level is at least from 30 to 100. Any thing more than a 100 is toxic
Ellaine Quilario You don’t need a prescription but you do need to request blood work from your doctor and explicitly request a test to check your vitamin D level. Your doctor will then tell you the appropriate amount you need.
I had a vitamin D3 level of 12. Just a fortnight back I got it tested. B12 was 287. Have a bad left shoulder pain. Cramps and twitching and pain all over the body. Breathing trouble. Very bad panic attacks for the first time in my life. Vertigo, left hand and leg weak as if I had had a stroke. I'm 57. I felt like crying everyday. Now I'm taking 10000iu a day of chewable D3. Magnesium glycinate, k2 and plant based vitamin B12. Still too early to get well. I'm praying for a recovery from this pain. It's horrible guys. Trust me.
You developed Magnesium deficiency from the symptoms you mentioned that takes time to fix. D3 depletes Magnesium so it has to be supplemented. Take zinc, k2 and Boron. They are the D3 cofactors along with the Magnesium.

Its not just taking Vitamin D and being consistent, its getting the Vitamin D count up in your body. I've been taking Vitamin D daily at different levels for almost 2 years and my count has been very stubborn to budge at all. If I'm successful in doing that, I might see results.

Vitamin D is a hormone if your hormomes are out of wack vitamin D corrects them and takes away all these horrible symptoms 😢

I’m watching this because I accidentally bought the Immune Plus version of Emergen-C, which has also Vitamin D and Zinc and immediately felt amazing. I drank it to prepare from COVID-19. Gonna make it a habit to get lots of sunlight and take supplements when needed! My anxiety is much less, even during my PMS week. :D And I have more energy. Thank you for being open about your anxiety issues.
Hi I purchased some as well, do you take yours with water? I tried taking it with water and i didn’t care for it
Can I get vitamin deficiency from taking cortisone? I have started taking them due to pain associated with Alopecia hair loss. I seem to have gotten extremely tired since starting to taking the pills and I have experienced difficulties in healing from small wounds such as paper cuts leaving weird scars and muscle pain. I have no idea why they would put me on meds that could trigger another cause of hair loss.
It happened with me
I am suffering from severe deficiency of vit D 7.4ng/ml. I got my test because of excessive hairfall. I will start my medication from tomorrow morning.( Apart from Vit D, I would be taking VitB12 along with ccm tablets, omega3, omega 6 and multivitamin tablets.)
Also I am using minoxidil from last 4 -5 days.
I hope my hairs will grow back in coming months else I have to go for hair transplant 😭
What are your symptomps?
@@gyan_ko_sagar I never knew, didn't felt anything (No symptoms at all). Just Hairfall and nothing else.
I came to know about defeciency of Vit D only after I got my blood test report.
How are you doing now
@@jinanekhafi8932 I would say I am doing much better than I was earlier.

I am completely bald before knowing my vit D level is only 19.9ng/ml. May I know what is the vitamin D you took? I am currently taking Cholecalciferol 4,000IU a day. Pls help a bald depressed woman lol Thank yo so much!
I just got my lab work done and my vitamin D is at an 11. I also have a vitamin B deficiency as well. Any suggestions? I know I need to take at least 2,000 IU anything else I need to know?
I currently have a deficiency and I take Vitamin D3 supplements. Also eat a lot of foods rich in Vitamin D such as Eggs (with the yolk), fish, alfalfa (can be used in tea), Kale, Salmon, Pork, Whole milk. And most importantly go out in the sun as much as you can!
@@shenoachavez022 what are yo taking for vitamin d
sorry you are wrong some people needs more than 100,000 units every day especially people with Neuro degenerative disease for at least 2 -3 months after that you can take 25.000units everyday for next 3 months, then you have to take 10,000 units every day . MS ,Parkinson; Plus zinc, magnesium, folate k2 MK7.
How long did it take for your anxiety symptoms to go away after starting to take vitamin d? Cause GIRL, mine have been insane!
Oh sorry i see that you said you felt better pretty quickly regarding that.
I’m so sorry to hear that!! When I’m diligent with the vitamins, I notice a huge difference. It may take a week or so for them to really kick in but I’d highly recommend trying guided meditations to help ease your anxiety in the meantime
@@LayanBee yes! I have been doing that this week too, listening to Russell brands meditations have actually helped alot!!! Thank you so much!

Did you experience any side effects from taking the large quantities of vitamins d ?
I take 5,000 UI daily and have no side effects. It might depend on your count though. I'm below 30 and the number is stubborn to go up.
rachi beauty Apparently supplementing vitamin D can increase those side effects if you don’t take magnesium with it

Sorry to hear.
Tinned oily fish / cod liver oil is an affordable option dependent on where you live. Wishing you an abundance of health ✨
My level is 17. I have 1,000iu of D3 that I'll take daily. Do I need 100mcg of K2 with it since the dose is low?
You may want to get your thyroid checked as well. It still looks thinned but maybe its in growing phase. Iodine and zinc is important too
What time of day did u take the vitamins and was it with food?
My vitamin d level was at 4 ng/ml I couldn't move my neck it became so tense re starting my supplements now. please send a prayer for me 😂 I thought i was dying
Edit: I wasnt absorbing this vitamin because of a problem with gluten everyone's different but felt like sharing cause had iron deficiency anemia as well.
It gets better, don't worry. You should also get sunlight. You're late now, but do that when summer comes.
Take vit d injection don't just rely on tablets

2:50 Correction: Doctors don't know more than Google does
True
I saw a dermatologist last year. She looked at my scalp for 1 second and said MPB..Like fucking seriously? No blood test, no nothing? Besides, my hair loss looks so unusual. I have patches of hair loss on top, but my hairline is solid. I've been under a ton of stress for over two years. My hair never started to thin until stress started.
Totally!
skyline- Google also has a lot of false/misleading information. Hard for the avg Joe to separate that out from the facts.
@@casebased8391 same with doctors - when they diagnose you it's there best guess as to what the issue is.
I have had vitamin d deficiency my whole life. I’m 23. I have to get boosts if injections and liquid supplements maybe every two years and I’ve never had a problem with my hair. However for the last five months I’ve lost half my hair. I’ve ordered some biotin and vitamin d I hope this helps! Thank you for your videos they’ve helped me feel less anxious!
Any progress?
yes! I have noticed a difference I’m also taking biotin. My hairs still falling out but less!!
Abubakr #Apostate Ive lost a lot of hair again. I’m not sure if it’s due to having glandular fever. Or Covid. But I have been taking biotin also. I have noticed so regrowth

"your doctor know more than google does"...well im not so sure about that, mine gave me d2 50.000ui every two months, when its known world wide than d3 is better, and that amount is really low to correct a deficency so no, your doctor does not knows everything, he didnt have a clue about k2 and magnesium either when i ask about that, in some cases you have to be your own hero.
Hi, I had a vitamin d blood test. Normal range was between 50 - 250 iu and mine was 22. Told to take 50,000 once a week for 6 weeks and then 800 iu a day.
Hoping I will feel better soon

I heard a doctor just saw that 2,000 IU is actually the dose you would give to a baby. Adults need more like 6,000-10,000 IU a day.
