@@myjourney703 The list of benefits of vitamin D is extensive no doubt. The sun literally gives life to the entire planet so surely it will be massively beneficial for us.
@@myjourney703 : It does, but not everybody makes vitamin D in their skin equally. I would like to add to this list the 3 major symptoms I had when diagnosed with low vit D level of 6: EXTREME FATIGUE, MANY TENDER AND PAINFUL SPOTS along my muscles and SUNKEN FINGERNAILS. ALL of these went away a few weeks after i was treated with vit D.
Sharing Dr Berg notes: Having low vitamin D can affect the body in a myriad of ways-it’s important to avoid becoming deficient in vitamin D. Keep in mind that any time you take vitamin D, you should also take vitamin K2. The ratio should be 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Being vitamin D deficient is commonly associated with symptoms like: • Bone loss • Bone pain • Low immunity • Depression • High blood pressure • Inflammation • Asthma • Poor sleep Surprising signs of vitamin D deficiency: 1. Nightmares 2. Restless leg syndrome 3. Acne 4. Bipolar disorder 5. Skipped heartbeats 6. Breathing disorders 7. Psoriasis and eczema 8. Sinus issues 9. Hay fever 10. Rapid breathing in infants 11. Recurrent tonsillitis in children 12. Structural development problems in children 13. Long COVID 14. Early puberty 15. Uterine fibroids 16. Irregular menstrual cycles 17. Longer menstrual cycles 18. Urinary incontinence 19. Vertigo 20. Sarcopenia 21. Myopia 22. Glaucoma 23. Erectile dysfunction Thank You Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿
It's actually terrible because Dr Berg has got Vitamin D wrong completely here. Vitamin D deficiency is actually an indicator of a Magnesium deficiency. Taking more vitamin D will actually make the Magnesium deficiency worse so can't meaningfully increase vitamin D levels. It's Dr Berg's lack of understanding on this matter that has him recommending super doses of vitamin D but this could actually be damaging people's health. Most of the symptoms in the video are directly related to a Magnesium deficiency not a Vitamin D deficiency, it just seems like it's vitamin D because low magnesium causes low vitamin D. The fix is to first fix your magnesium deficiency. Any Vitamin D video that doesn't focus on Magnesium is potentially harmful and not in the interest of optimal health.
Wow. My life would have been much different, had I known this earlier! I'm 54 now, and am being treated for low Vitamin D, by my primary care physician, currently. However, I am seeing symptoms that both my children suffer from!! Flat feet, scoliosis, etc!! If ONLY, I had known, 30 years ago, my beloved children, may have avoided certain health issues! That's just heartbreaking 💔😭
Thank you doctor Berg. You have no idea how much this is helping. My 9 years old daughter has at least 4 of these symptoms and I never thought of vit D deficiency. Flat feet, scoliosis, wheezing, tonsil stones all the time, headaches and tons of mucus. We treated everything separately. It all makes sense now, thanks to you❤
Dr. B, yesterday I met this pregnant lady, and she was contemplating not taking her prenatal vitamins. I referred her to your channel and briefly explained the importance of vit D during pregnancy!!!! Hopefully, it helps her 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I was born with Rickets / Lyme Disease and this list makes so much sense. My Lyme Literate Naturopathic Doctor who fully reversed his own extreme case of Parkinson’s Disease, found out that my body does not absorb Vitamin D or Iron properly
I have recently watched all of your vitamin D videos. I have suffered from so many of the symptoms of a deficiency. I have seen many doctors- none of whom suggested trying adding vitamin D. Well, I got your vitamin D just a few weeks ago. The first day I took it I felt a little better. It’s been 2 weeks now and I feel like a new person! I am sleeping well! My joint aches and pains are gone. My mind is not foggy. My deep bone pains disappeared. My tinnitus has toned down. Not gone , but much quieter. So many more things, I am truly amazed. Thank you! ❤❤❤
Thanks for all your great advice. I really enjoy watching your videos, they provide a lot of knowledge and are very helpful on a daily basis in choosing food when shopping, etc. Thank you ❤✨
He’s absolutely correct! From my flat feet- to loooong periods, heart palpitations and Vertigo, that I’ve experienced myself diminishing to absolutely gone with the introduction of D3/K2 the past 4 years all have gone to include plantar fasciitis- since I went Keto and supplemented . Thank y you SO SO much Dr Berg 🦋
r vitamins that we can also take to help . I believe mine got messed up due to me being on the stupid contraception . I live a pretty healthy life I’d say so I go to the gym I do have a balanced diet , my sleep is something I need to work on 100% What can I take / buy ?
A Dr👨⚕ advised me to take Magnesium, D3, Vitamin K2-MK7(100mcg for every 10,000iu D3) & B6-P5P(activated-pyridoxal-5-phosphate) at the same time. ➡One important function & benefit of Vitamin D3 is that it helps the body absorb Calcium which in turn plays a part in how the body absorbs Magnesium. The levels of Vitamin B6-P5P in the body determines how much Magnesium will be absorbed into the cells. Vitamin D3 ensures calcium is absorbed easily & Vitamin K2-MK7 activates the protein, osteocalcin, which integrates Calcium into bone. Without D3 & K2, Calcium can not do its job effectively. Vitamin K2-MK7 activates matrix GLA protein (MGP) to bind excess Calcium & promote arterial flow & flexibility. ➡D3 is fat soluble so the Dr said to take all these with a meal because they'll absorb better.....
Dr Berg, I’m a black woman from the UK. I’m glad you’ve mentioned some of the conditions i suffer from, uterine fibroids, perimenopause symptoms like fatigue and also vertigo. Thanks 🙏🏾 for explaining all this
Thank you for this informative video💖 I'm 19 yo and i just discovered that i have vitD deficiency today after having many symptoms for nearly a year i'm glad that i consulted a docter this week! If not i would have strugled many years without knowing the root of these problems! I advise everyone to always consult a doctor in case of discomfort and not attribute everything to tiredness and stress!
Interestingly, almost every one of these describes me from childhood to adulthood. I'm not surprised, but it sure does explain a lot of my issues. Thanks Dr. Berg!
Me2, hv itched most of my life - mentioned it to drs, nothing. Turns out I have allergies to certain foods, who knew... bakery breads, spicy foods and aged blue cheeses. Been taking D for years , get out in the sun regularly, and started Cod Liver oil about 5 mos ago that I thought was helpful to my skin's overall look.
My favorite vitamin. I feel much better after consuming it regularly. My doctor never told me my problems' solution is easy. I'm very glad that I found your channel.
Vitamin D is good 👍 my Dr is a good doctor , but I don't like Dr. youtube telling me Vitamin D is not good. I give you more like subscribe, and don't forget the bell 😂😂😂 looking for viewers
My own Dr. was very interested when I told him about D3 K2 and the possibility they could stop or reverse atherosclerosis ! He had never heard about it. It's so rare to have a physician who's ego will allow them to learn something new!
Thank you Dr. Berg for all the research you do. You are a real physician. Not like the ones paid by the government in England who don't really care if you get better or not. You stand out in your field and your advice and optimism keep us hanging on with some positivity that we can improve our own help with good advice from people like yourself. Thank you again. 😊
Hello Dr Berg, thank you very much for your growth boost tipps. Because im not the tallest guy, i was concerned about the development of my kids and bumped into your videos inclunding growth boost. Since end of january i tried to follow your tipps as close as possible, and also forced my kids to eat healthy stuff, such as scrambled eggs or paprika, because they refuesd to eat those things since infancy and also threw up, caused by not being used to it, being forced and not getting their will. Now they eat it regulary. Still with a slight distaste, but they accept it now. My just turned 11y old daughter made 8cm and is now 150cm and my just turned 6y boy made approx. 6.5cm and is now at 118,5cm. Their "rapid" growth has also been recognized by others. Thank you very much.
Pam here…. I had weight loss surgery where I do not absorb the fat soluble vitatmins well. My heart developed bradycardia…in the 30’s when I slept. My vit d was undetectable in test. Was started on 50k units ASAP and it took 3 months to get it to the bottom of normal range. My resting heart rate went back to 70’s
I am 59 years old and have braces and an improper jaw alignment. And as a child, I had frequent tonsillitis, hay fever, and started having myopia; sinus issues, eczema and mood problems when I was a little older ... wow, now I know why or at least a common factor!
Iam SO GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK , DR. BERG ! I need you and am so happy. I bet you are too because I know you care for us. I need to figure out how can get a question to you. It's really important, I know my Dr won't even listen to me. That's how it is on Medicare and medi - cal especially. Nothing new there.
When I got covid about 1 year ago, I woke up and couldn’t open my eyes as they perceived the low level light of sunrise to be blinding. After being in bed all day I forced myself to sit outside in shorts and nothing else because the sun was out. After 40mins sat there with my eyelids closed I felt refreshed and could at least open my eyes.
Why why why can't doctors talk about this. Why treat symptoms instead of root cause. Dr Berg thank you for being so awesome and helpful. . It's a shame that doctors are not like you
My doctor wants to give a small dose of something for “the bipolar” as she always says. Yet my red blood count is low and hemeglobin and she refuses to check my vitamin d. She also laughed when I mentioned long covid. 😢 I’ve dealt with covid while pregnant, alopecia and feeling dizzy everyday and she says it’s the anxiety/bipolar. My mood is actually great for once but it’s my body. She again thinks I’m crazy. Imagine some people who are mentally ill just have deficiencies. 😖
Dr. Berg has been reading my mind! I was recently intrigued with how vitamin D plays a huge role. I am so grateful to have found you. I started to take vitamin D my heart palpitations has decreased. Parkinson’s Disease has signs of vitamin D depletion, no vitamin D. Also, sugar depletes vitamin D. Thank you Dr. Berg.
Dr. Berg you reference another youtube to watch at the end but it doesn't appear in the right hand corner as I'm used to. Just wanted you to know. Thanks for all the very valuable healthy information you share with all of us. I watch so many of your youtubes. With much gratitude!
Thank you, Dr. Berg, for giving us the proper ratio of Vitamin K2 to D3. You may have mentioned it in a past video that I missed. But the first couple of D3/K2 videos of yours that I watched (about a year ago) mentioned no ratio, so I was left to research it on my own. Glad you made it plain here.
I’m in my mid 40’s and live in the PNW. In the summertime I take in as much sun as possible and get flak from friends because of it. They cannot argue that I never get sick, have a lot of energy and look younger than my age. I’m not advocating sun worshiping for everyone but for me it’s vital
Last year I had low vitamin D. It was awful, I felt like I was going nuts. Restless legs, felt these shock sensations thru my body, couldn't sleep, emotions were all over. Thought it was early menopause. I had labs done and found my vitamin d was very low. I never even knew it was a thing.
I see Dr Berg as a prophet like all prophets in history they have been abused. I do believe that he struggles a lot to share knowledge with us. Dr. Berg, you are the Conqueror in your field. I congratulate you and I Thank you for the help you provided to all of us.
Wow, 50,000iu of vitamin D?? I'm not judging, just confirming. I've been on 40,000 for a month and my psoriasis is in retreat mode. Great video, thanks for posting.
@@SuraDoes Same here. Getting out in the sun seems to help, and I'm not sure water hardness isn't a factor in my case. It's off the charts here. Reverse Osmosis water is definitely on the list of things that cause vitamin D deficiency, so not a stretch to think that hard water couldn't affect it in some way. Maybe dr. Berg could expound.
Dr Berg is amazing! He sees the body as a whole vessel, he is up-to-date with the latest findings (not the big pharma devised ones) and selflessly shares all this knowledge and information without any hesitation! Go Dr Berg!
Perfect timing on this video. I’m just finding out this was my problem recently. I literally felt like i was dying the last few months. Was looking into being diabetic, nope, not it. Starting taking D3 last week and now almost instant relief. I feel normal again
For anyone else looking to fix their issues. I’m currently taking a 2000IU D3 pill 3 times a day for 6000IUs daily to get 42,000IUs a week, which is close to an emergency treatment of 50,000IUs a week as prescribed by a doctor for severe deficiency.
My dad has prostate cancer and it was because of his chronic vitamin D3 he takes 30.000 IU a day with K2 200 mcg and Magnesium and hes feeling away better.
nicely done, just make sure he doesnt eat fake calcium aka all calcium supplements, he's just gonna load his body up with silt and aches. otherwise sounds smart.
I had vitamin d deficiency and was dx with fibromyalgia, rosacea, bipolar 😑 weight gain issues, Sinus issues, toe nail infection, scoliosis, restless legs, fibroids, big gaps in my lower teeth
My father has restless leg issues and is hunched over now. He takes Vit D but since the drs didn’t say to take a higher dose. He lives on carbs and doesn’t see a problem. At 89, he wont change, I’ve tried. My mom had AFib and instead of trying addl vit D, her Dr. suggested surgery to put in a Watchman and of course she went with it. I appreciate all of your information Dr. Berg.
I will testify that I had lower back stiffness, forearms would hurt/painful, broken rib would always hurt and there was constant pain between my shoulders before I took vitamin d. After taking VD for an extended period of time the skin on my fingers would wear away like a pair of work gloves. I reduced the amount of VD and it went away. I will also testify that when I dont take VD for a few days pain starts returning to all the areas.
Thank you Dr. Berg! One other system of vita d3 deficiency is dark circles under the eyes.. I have had several of these symptoms as of late. I take TONS of supplements but I for whatever reason, forget to up the dosage on my vita d3. My energy level goes up almost immediately. I moved to a warmer climate to combat my vita d issues and many have gone away especially my sinus issues. Love your content!! Keep doing what you are doing. @@ChickenTender57 Going outside isn’t enough to increase vitamin D if you’re significantly deficient. You will also run the risk of skin cancer. I thought my winter dose of 28.000 was too much but now I’m thinking that should be a minimum and maybe I need to nearly double that in winter months especially since I’m a brown skin person

I agree muscle aches and bone pain is a def thing
Sharing Dr Berg notes:
Having low vitamin D can affect the body in a myriad of ways-it’s important to avoid becoming deficient in vitamin D.
Keep in mind that any time you take vitamin D, you should also take vitamin K2. The ratio should be 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3.
Being vitamin D deficient is commonly associated with symptoms like:
• Bone loss
• Bone pain
• Low immunity
• Depression
• High blood pressure
• Inflammation
• Asthma
• Poor sleep
Surprising signs of vitamin D deficiency:
1. Nightmares
2. Restless leg syndrome
3. Acne
4. Bipolar disorder
5. Skipped heartbeats
6. Breathing disorders
7. Psoriasis and eczema
8. Sinus issues
9. Hay fever
10. Rapid breathing in infants
11. Recurrent tonsillitis in children
12. Structural development problems in children
13. Long COVID
14. Early puberty
15. Uterine fibroids
16. Irregular menstrual cycles
17. Longer menstrual cycles
18. Urinary incontinence
19. Vertigo
20. Sarcopenia
21. Myopia
22. Glaucoma
23. Erectile dysfunction

Outstanding info as usual. We need Dr Berg in charge of the FDA so the truth would be taught, told and enforced and the garbage off the market
@Civic. Dr Berg knows this! Magnesium is in his D3&K2 supplements that he sells!
What do you know about cholecalciferol?

Thank you! ❤❤❤
I wish I knew this info. When I was a teenager..I would pass out whenever I started my periods from severe pain.

Dr. Berg, there is an internet doctor that I trust more than any doctor in any hospital or office today. You. Thank you 💛
Thank you for this informative video💖 I'm 19 yo and i just discovered that i have vitD deficiency today after having many symptoms for nearly a year i'm glad that i consulted a docter this week! If not i would have strugled many years without knowing the root of these problems! I advise everyone to always consult a doctor in case of discomfort and not attribute everything to tiredness and stress!
What were your symptoms?
Interestingly, almost every one of these describes me from childhood to adulthood. I'm not surprised, but it sure does explain a lot of my issues. Thanks Dr. Berg!
I had itching for 4 years , started having 10,000 IU and now itching is gone , i am thankful to you dr berg
I've had itchy skin for years, over 8 I think now, doctors have no idea what's wrong as blood work comes back fine, hoping this will help!

Wow this is such important and vital video !! Thank you Dr Berg

Berg.

You may want to have b12 checked, too. I've had both be low and had the shocks, but that symptom for me was lack of b12.
Both B12 n D3 better

Wow, 50,000iu of vitamin D?? I'm not judging, just confirming. I've been on 40,000 for a month and my psoriasis is in retreat mode. Great video, thanks for posting.
Unfortunately, didn't say how often, but I've had three doctors recommended that dosage, and it was weekly.
I’ve been taking 50k IU with 200 mcg K2 daily. I thought it would be for a short time, but I think my deficiency is severe.
