'Just Stop!': Young Thug Judge, Prosecutor Argue Over Video in YSL Case

- After returning from a week-long break, the YSL RICO trial continued Thursday afternoon with arguments over a video with defendant Deamonte Kendrick. Judge Ural Glanville stated he is going to enter parts of the video into evidence, which led to a heated debate between the judge, state and defense. "Just stop! I made my ruling," the judge told the state.

Why is he allowing her to argue a ruling he has already made?
He does it all of the time and then reverses it. He overruled prosecution objection the other day and then changed it to go in favor for prosecution. 🤯
He wouldn't let anyone else do that..

Just set back and get used to it because he lets her argue and argue his rollings and then on some of his rulings she actually gets him to change his mind but when it comes to the Defense doing the same thing he tells him to sit down
This is really not that complicated. The ruling to suppress is a no brainer. The judge giving the state THIS MUCH TIME to let Love drone on saying the same thing 20 times is ridiculous.

Like ma'am he gave you unlimited objection rulings, ignores her improper remarks he even allows her to cut him off like he her lil son. But he will "instantly" snap on the defense. The whole Fulton county tired of the Fani gang members holding our taxes up on circus courts 😭.
He needs to stop her from going on and on though. She’s entitled to make a record - one - not repeat it 14 times.

This case is a circus. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all found not guilty within 5 min of the jury being handed the case for deliberations.

Detectives are supposed to tell the suspect that he can’t talk anymore after he asks for a lawyer. Prosecutor needs to respect the judge. He already spoke on the matter.

I've been in practice nearly 25 years and have never seen a judge make the same decision this many times only to have counsel make the same losing argument in response an equal number of times. That is what appeals courts are for.

Interrupting opposing counsel
Changing demonstratives without updating defense
Adding discovery DURING TRIAL
Adding hundreds of witnesses at the very last second.
Ms. Love is not brand new to practicing law. It is incomprehensible how this is allowed to happen. I couldn't tell if it was incompetence or dirty tricks, now I'm convinced it is both on behalf of the State.

It's baffling that a sitting Judge makes a ruling, but allows an attorney to make a mockery of his position by arguing an issue that already has a ruling. If public opinion has lost hope with this trial, the jury most likely has also.

I'm relieved to see that Judge Glanville, has been more stern with Mrs. Love & putting his foot down regarding his rulings!! He has afforded her more than enough opportunity & leeway, to get herself together, when he didn't have to but, she was clearly taking advantage of it and the Judge has finally had enough........ So in other words the detective was using a cigarette to get the person of interest to re engage in questioning. After they asked for their attorney. It is a well known tactic and unfortunately a lot of judges will allow it. The only way it should be allowed is if they read the Miranda rights again while on camara but even then the court doesnt know if the defendent was forced to comply, offered a leaner sentence, bribed, or lied to get them to talk. That is why it should be over as soon as a defendent asks for their lawyer. She thinks if she continues to pursue getting this in that the judge will just change his mind. Like a child arguing with their parent.
Right but if the defendant asked for a cigarette and supplied that information voluntarily, and the state has proof that can't be denied of that, why can't that be presented? Because he's then waived his right to remain silent, he's chosen not to wait for his lawyer, and has started to engage.
So if there's 15 bodies, and the guy starts talking about where the bodies are after talking about wanting a lawyer? The location of the bodies aspect of the conversation shouldn't be presented to a jury? That's ridiculous on it's face.
It doesn't hold up to the most basic of logic checks.
The prosecutor is losing this one. She is very narrow focused and trying to squeeze evidence in hoping the judge would make her job easier.

I know someone that was in a similar instance where they asked for there lawyer but then later wanted to speak to the detectives but the detectives told him he had to fill out a form and sign it saying that he’s changing his mind on wanting his attorney there … the document is so that way they can’t say the police initiated the conversation or vice versa … kinda werif they made no mention of that

The state is a bully in every case in every courtroom across the country. Judges should do more clamp down on bad behavior. Exactly like that of the detectives in this case.
Judges never do. Most of them are former prosecutors- it’s a common career move. So they always side with the state.
