- The slow-moving-yet-high-pressured trial of Young Thug devolved Wednesday into a shouting match between the judge overseeing the proceedings, prosecutors and defense attorneys.
For weeks, Fulton County Superior Court Chief Judge Ural Glanville has admonished both sides in Jeffery Williams’ - aka Young Thug’s - trial to file motions early and collaborate with each other. The trial has already broken records for Georgia’s longest jury selection; and is well on its way to becoming the state’s - and possibly the nation’s - longest criminal trial.
On Wednesday, attorney Max Schardt, who represents Shannon Stillwell, objected to a 105-page PowerPoint presentation that prosecutors wanted to introduce.
That led to another admonishment from Glanville, who then aimed his ire at Fulton County Chief Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love. Then came a shouting match between Love and Glanville.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why the country has an attorney shortage. People are finding out that this is the level of stress and embarrassment that attorneys go through, resulting in fewer people applying to law school. Nowhere else in society does someone goes to work and has someone yelling at them like this and telling them to sit down. Nurses, doctors, waste management personnel, teachers, small business people, construction workers, accountants, tailors, architects....NO ONE goes through this but attorneys. This is why the profession sits at the top of the list as one of the most stressful occupations.
Are you even watching this trial??? That DA is the rudest most disgusting and disrespectful attorney I have ever witnessed in my life! She not prepared, yells and blames everyone else, she’s disrespectful to the the defense team, she doesn’t listen to the judge but rather raise her voices, huff and puff, slam papers and she can never accept his ruling and argues back n forth with him. SHE is why there is a lack of attorneys. It’s sickening.

Argue, argue, argue. I get his point and it's frustrating. But when a woman wants to talk over the presiding judge to make her point and even the rest of us get why the judge says what he does...it makes sense that he stops her and tells her to have a seat. Iron it out before you get there and then present. Yes, it is only common sense for the professional. But it appears that some attorney act like the neighborhood gang and insist it go their way. LOL I'm glad I saw this. It is a good pure example of nonsense that takes place with one who is willing to end it from the start.

Lol..its not DA sloppiness..the DA gave them ALL that info a year and a 9 months ago..then contacted them 2 weeks ago to let them know they were using it and what issues they had with it..the defense IGNORES the DA...then files a motion the NIGHT BEFORE...pretending they dont have the information...lol...the Judge then gets pissed and goes off on the DA and excludes the evidence they have PROPERLY presented...lol
