  • The judge overseeing Young Thug’s RICO trial sentenced a potential juror to three days in jail for recording court proceedings on her phone during jury selection. Judge Ural Glanville dismissed the woman as a potential juror before she was taken into custody, where she was later released after five hours, rather than serving the full three-day sentence.

Judge called her on that too. Literally asking "so you're saying people were talking while I was giving instructions?" This isn't a party where a million things are happening at once. Courtrooms are specifically meant to have only one person talking at a time. Kinda hard not to hear the *one* person talking at any given time. Especially when that person happens to be the most powerful person in the room.

We were brought back in, the judge came in and court was back in session. The judge cordially asked the woman what she'd done at lunch and when she said she'd bought a pair of shoes he asked (again very friendly) how they'd cost. She said $100.

    IN MY VIEW
At 7:28 I loved this wise judge words: "That does not excuse your behavior and it doesn't provide it's an excuse for your behavior."

I hate people who make multi excuses for their actions instead of saying they were wrong, they are sorry and acknowledging their wrong doing!!!!
    Thank you judge!

Yep, an apology was the last thing on her mind. It's worrying that so many lives are ruled/controlled by phones nowadays.

Another thing. I'm sure if she would have been apologetic and acted like she learned, there might have been a chance he wouldn't have gave her 3 days.
