Young Thug Judge Screams at Defense, State Over Tape with YSL Witness

- On Wednesday, Young Thug Judge Ural Glanville shouted at both the state and defense over a motion about a tape with a witness. Defense attorney Maxwell Schardt told Judge Glanville there has been some disagreements on some parts of the tape. The judge then yelled at Schardt about filing motions at the last minute. Meanwhile, the judge yelled at lead prosecutor Adriane Love after she stated when she and the defense attorney had a discussion about the tape.

Naw he don’t have the balls to. He let her take 3 hours this afternoon to try and convince the judge to change his mind on his ruling and it worked because she doesn’t take no for an answer and it’s working. It’s been working this entire case.

You can’t loop someone together just because you use to hang with them, you have to show evidence that the individuals in the courtroom are connected to each crime.

@@teodelfuego I struggle to see this case getting as far as an appeal. This has been heading for a mistrial from the beginning. I'm not sure the prosecution will attempt a second trial (not with all the defendants en masse, anyway). If, by some miracle, they do manage to get a verdict and there are some convictions, it won't take the appeal courts very long to quash them.

Why this judge only aggressive with the defense
You did see the part where he threw out the tape and the PowerPoint that the PROSECUTION wanted to bring in...right? He was just as aggressive with Ms Love when he told her to go stuff it. And by not allowing the state to use that evidence, it HELPS the defense. But actually the reason nothing is resolved before the trial started is because the judge will not make firm rulings. There were tons of pretrial motions hearings, and he hardly ever made a final decision on anything. He would always put it off to the next court date. Also, he has allowed the state to get away with not turning over evidence in a timely way. The defense complained about something or other that had not been turned over yet in EVERY pretrial hearing. He never gave the state deadlines to get things done by. So he made this mess, now he has to live with it. Not only is Ms Love looking like Georgia's Marcia Clark, but this judge is starting to look like Judge Ito (from the first OJ trial).
Filing a motion over something if you don’t even know if the state is going to introduce it is wasting time. Can’t win with this judge
EXACTLY. When the prosecutor is going to use it it is THEN that the defense should be filing a motion to exclude, otherwise, defense would be filing hundreds and hundreds of motions for no reason whatsoever. This is crazy.

I do understand the judge wanting these things to be addressed earlier but he is one of the main reason this trial has taken so long to start. Everybody in the courtroom has been unprepared and unprofessional imo

He is well in the legal tenure based on the state law to file that anytime prior to the testimony or evidence being admitted. And practicing in federal court is irrelevant to this as this is a state case
Defense has been doing this multiple times, this is the second time the judge has had to clapback on this issue. I believe it happened last week.

Look at all of this emotion between so called "Legal Professionals". This is the opposite of what you would EVER want in a court house. It all starts with the judge and his emotional outbursts - and its clearly making a problem between all of the representatives in the room. I've never seen anything like this in my life.
This judge needs to be impeached and thrown off the bench. This is a side show. How would YT ever hope to have a fair trial under these kinds of conditions? All this is doing is wasting enormous resources for a trial that I am about 99% sure is going to have to take place again.
